We had an absolutely fantastic stay here; thank you SO much to all the lovely staff & kind people we met who made it memorable! Firstly, the room we had was absolutely HUGE and way bigger than we were expecting, as though it was our own apartment. It featured a kitchenette area, living area and huge bedroom, and was extremely comfortable with so much space to walk around in. Secondly, shoutout to the staff in the restaurant who made wonderful food, reassured us about our food allergies and served delicious wine. There is a pool table and foosball table and it has a real ‘Americana’ vibe about it. The breakfast is made to order with fresh ingredients and is delicious as well, with lots to choose from. If we come back to Lompoc, we will stay here again. A family run friendly hotel that we won’t forget.

The only thing worth mentioning was that we couldn’t work out how to use the shower very easily and the actual bathroom itself was quite small. No main / overhead lights in the room, only lamps, so it was quite dark coming in & out especially at night time.

We had an amazing time! The staff were unbelievably gracious and so so nice. They genuinely cared about our stay. A huge shout out to Chips, Brett, Paige and Kelsey who made it such a wonderful experience. The FREE cooked breakfast everyday was made to order, scrumptious and again, the staff (above), were so lovely. We had two free drinks per day as well, which is just unbelievable. Chips is outstanding!!!!! From the moment I walked in, she was so accommodating. The rooms were lovely, and the whole place just exceeded our expectations. Definitely will be back.

Well...I have been staying in Buellton for the past few years at some pretty expensive, non-functioning hotels while visiting family. I decided to look at a slightly longer drive for a better/cleaner/more friendly place to stay while I am here. I found it! O'Cairns exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Easy check in. Accessible. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Great wifi. Comfortable chair in my room. What more is there to say? They have a little bistro on the grounds which I missed, but I had breakfast in the same location in the morning, and I already know that the bistro will be great for my next trip. Breakfast was not the "routine" make your own...this was tables, waited by lovely staff, with great food. Fresh eggs, fruit bowl with wonder food overall. I had a killer coffee and a yummy breakfast- made to order. I will be back for sure. Thank you, O'Cairns staff...I have found my "happy spot," for my family visits.

Did not observe anything I did not like. (Probably could have lost one or two of the old-fashioned "oil" paintings in the room, IF I had to say something. )

We truly enjoyed our stay at The O'Cairns Inn. We were here for personal business, a family visit and we were also traveling with our small dog. It was through my search for a "dog friendly" hotel that I found this gem of a spot. This is truly a "family business". We met several family members who are engaged in this endeavor to make their business a success. The room was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast, which was included was delicious with selections for a customized breakfast. We also ate at the restaurant/bar one night and had great food. The "Wine Ghetto" is nearby (20 minute walk). Truly a great find and we will be back again! Our dog loved it too.

Everything was just great. If something was needed, the staff were there to help out and make sure the stay was pleasant. The guest is looked after here. Highly recommend.

Room was very clean (especially the carpet!). Microwave and fridge were both fine (fridge was full size). The complimentary drinks were very nice, and the breakfast was good (local canteloupe in the fruit cup was excellent). The DVD player was very nice to have (we brought our own DVDs). The grounds were clean and well-maintained, especially the small strips of lawn on the property and on the sidewalk. Usually lawns don't look great but these were really in great shape.

Plumbing in the bathroom worked but maybe could use a tuneup. The toilet would run after flushing unless you took care to reset the handle all the way to the top. In the tub, the temperature adjustment handle was stiff and hard to move, and while the shower was fine, there was some water that came through the tub spout instead of being diverted to the showerhead.

Location was good, food was very good, staff was very nice. Good water pressure in shower. The free drinks were a nice touch…wish we would have returned in time to use them! Love the Salute to the Base and all the hard working people there (ours included)!

The bed was a bit stiff, the pillows were very soft/flat, and the shower knob was coming apart. I could operate it but the wife had a little trouble.

It felt like we were at a resort! The restaurant, right there on the premises where we had our complimentary breakfast and where you could (as we did) also eat dinner and get drinks at the bar (two drinks per person were also complimentary)had a pool table, a foosball table, and a small shuffle board table. Also, they have a huge selections of DVDs which they let guests take to their rooms to watch on the dvd players. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We also enjoyed their outdoor hot tub.

Convenient location, very friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations. A full service breakfast and 2 drinks per person was included in the room rate. They had fun activities like pool and Foosball in the bar area. One fun idea is to coordinate your stay during the launch of one of the rockets at Vandenberg. We'll be back to do that.

The lighting in the room was a little dim, but not a huge deal.

Friendly staff nice restaurant. We had complimentary breakfast each day which was good and server was pleasant. Excellent housekeeping.

There were packages of coffee in the room but no Styrofoam cups. There was however Keurig coffee in the lobby. This is an older hotel. Seems all these bathrooms have very short toilets. Could definitely use an upgrade!

Called them up they was very professional. They upgraded my room. The staff was always pleasant. They had a working pool and hot tub. Previous hotel did not. They have a restaurant on site and it was really good.

Honestly can't think of anything that was bad the price was a little on the high side but compared to the rest of the town it was not bad at all.
