It has a very calming vibe and many details are well thought through. You won’t get this in a regular hotel, even if it is a very luxury one. We spent about 20 minutes just walking around the room and exploring everything. A very unique place. You can feel a touch of a designer hand and special attention to guest’s needs. The room was not big, but it was cosy. There were 2 small bottles of sparkling wine in a bucket with ice and we immediately celebrated our arrival on a balcony. The breakfast was mind blowing. Beautifully served, tasty, and healthy. This place kept wowing me till the minute we left. If you are looking for a calming and unusual experience, this place is where you need to be.

The practicality of the shower. You can’t take a shower without getting your hair wet. And there is no door to the shower. And it is completely transparent. The idea looks great, but I prefer traditional showers in the bathroom.

The rooms are eco friendly The staff so fabulous and happy The owner Anke Was so helpful We came with our service dog and my husband who has physical challenges. Anke and her team were so helpful. For the dogs a bed,bowls, and treats. There was bottled water in the room and fresh coffee for French pressed plus electric hot water pot. I can go on and on The bottom line delightful. Also blocks off the 5 and minutes to the beach. And breakfast

Not crowded, quite room and location. It felt like you can have peace. The location is great and neighborhood seems safe. There is parking! Breakfast was amazing and it is a pet friendly location. I loved the welcome treats for my dog and the sparkling wine for us!

Would be helpful if there could be more access to fresh drinking water - like a 5 gallon machine vs the main refrigerator. Although the rooms are small, a small refrigerator in the room would be helpful. I noticed the other guests with pets also had dog food that needed refrigeration, so the little patio fridge was very crowded and the main fridge is filled with groceries for breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious. The location is tucked within residential Encinitas so just a short drive to the beach and shops/restaurants. Loved relaxing in the hammock on the balcony.

The walls are very thin! The room was a little smaller than expected but cozy. They managed to fit in all the essentials. No door to the shower was a little messy (and it was very much embedded within the room) but overall it had what we needed for a night.

One of the most beautiful and relaxing spaces to heal the mind. Breakfast was delicious!!!! You won’t be disappointed with your stay.

The drive way was a bit steep for our rental van, so suggest parking on the street. But everything else was perfect!

Shower in bedroom with no door, no tv, location too difficult to walk downtown/beach, harsh overhead lighting. The description said quiet location, but not very quiet on busy street. Also said bikes available, but they were not.

The place is really nice and well decorated with great taste and details. The host is exceptionally kind and nice. I feel that i am a valued guest during my stay with customized care from the host. I really love ❤️ this place, 5 stars or more.

I loved everything. The room and whole retreat was gorgeous and peaceful. It felt luxe and zen but still cozy and warm All decor and fittings were of the highest quality. The owner and designer Anke was open, friendly and helpful,always around and available. She is a very accomplished woman!

This is a hidden oasis. Anke is the most gracious host. I felt like we were in a small European B&B. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast (which is included) was incredible. Everything is organic and environmentally conscious. What a special place to stay.
