This place is just amazing. We got welcomed with prosecco, local cheese, dried fruit, and fresh flowers – such a lovely touch. Our room had a huge soaking tub, cute handmade clay mugs, really good local tea and coffee, and the softest alpaca bedding. The rooftop terrace with the fire pit was such a vibe, and the outdoor rain shower was so refreshing. Breakfast on our private patio was a highlight – those poached eggs with a local twist were absolutely perfect. We had total privacy and the self check-in was super easy. Everything felt cozy, calm, and full of thoughtful little details.

One downside is the distance from the beach - you do need a car to get there. But for us, that wasn’t an issue at all.

It has a very calming vibe and many details are well thought through. You won’t get this in a regular hotel, even if it is a very luxury one. We spent about 20 minutes just walking around the room and exploring everything. A very unique place. You can feel a touch of a designer hand and special attention to guest’s needs. The room was not big, but it was cosy. There were 2 small bottles of sparkling wine in a bucket with ice and we immediately celebrated our arrival on a balcony. The breakfast was mind blowing. Beautifully served, tasty, and healthy. This place kept wowing me till the minute we left. If you are looking for a calming and unusual experience, this place is where you need to be.

The practicality of the shower. You can’t take a shower without getting your hair wet. And there is no door to the shower. And it is completely transparent. The idea looks great, but I prefer traditional showers in the bathroom.

The rooms are eco friendly The staff so fabulous and happy The owner Anke Was so helpful We came with our service dog and my husband who has physical challenges. Anke and her team were so helpful. For the dogs a bed,bowls, and treats. There was bottled water in the room and fresh coffee for French pressed plus electric hot water pot. I can go on and on The bottom line delightful. Also blocks off the 5 and minutes to the beach. And breakfast

The breakfast was delicious. The location is tucked within residential Encinitas so just a short drive to the beach and shops/restaurants. Loved relaxing in the hammock on the balcony.

The walls are very thin! The room was a little smaller than expected but cozy. They managed to fit in all the essentials. No door to the shower was a little messy (and it was very much embedded within the room) but overall it had what we needed for a night.

Not crowded, quite room and location. It felt like you can have peace. The location is great and neighborhood seems safe. There is parking! Breakfast was amazing and it is a pet friendly location. I loved the welcome treats for my dog and the sparkling wine for us!

Would be helpful if there could be more access to fresh drinking water - like a 5 gallon machine vs the main refrigerator. Although the rooms are small, a small refrigerator in the room would be helpful. I noticed the other guests with pets also had dog food that needed refrigeration, so the little patio fridge was very crowded and the main fridge is filled with groceries for breakfast.

The properly was clean, easily accessible, with parking and an electric car charger. Our room was beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast service as organic, homemade and delicious. Anke was friendly, gracious, and also gave the guests their privacy.

The property is inland a bit, so it’s a 5 minute car ride or so to the beach.

The décoré is lovely and everything is perfectly appointed. I felt like I stepped into a European boutique hotel. Coffee was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Anke is a masterful egg chef! And she met our every need. I didn’t want to leave.

This property was beyond my expectations, which are very very high. Pristinely clean, all the details and touches were above and beyond. And a pleasure for the senses. Anke is a curator of peace and well-being and warmth.

Shower in bedroom with no door, no tv, location too difficult to walk downtown/beach, harsh overhead lighting. The description said quiet location, but not very quiet on busy street. Also said bikes available, but they were not.

One of the most beautiful and relaxing spaces to heal the mind. Breakfast was delicious!!!! You won’t be disappointed with your stay.

The drive way was a bit steep for our rental van, so suggest parking on the street. But everything else was perfect!
