The staff :) we stayed one week and they felt like family. They really looked after us so well. Our Son loved Dede. We honestly liked everything. The rooms are so clean and spacious, the beds are super comfy,the breakfast choice is the best we had during our 2 months in Bali. The location is top! Central canguu but so quiet and peaceful. The food at the hotel is really really good. Everything’s to a high quality. Great management.

Good location. You can walk to the beach and restaurants. Place was clean. Very quiet. No party or people enjoying the pool. (Pool looks bigger in photo). Reception girls always helpful same as housekeeping. We enjoyed our free breakfast the first day. (You could choose from americana breaky, or sweet one..avo toast.. a few options, they always gave you fruit and a juice.)Then they changed the menu and you could choose 3 things in total. For example: you could have two pieces of bread, two eggs and two pieces of bacon but no drink to go with it (unless you paid) . It was just weird after having one beautiful breakfast that it changed. We didn’t see many people there but you could tell that people didn’t like that idea and it was too complicated. For us it made us feel like they just needed money because the place was quiet. The lunch and dinner menu looked okay, we had lunch one day in our room and it was okay, the rest of days went out or ordered food delivery from other places. We always left after breaky to have a proper coffee somewhere else.

Our villa was lovely, alot bigger than we expected with huge lounge area, dining table and 2 couches. The pool was incredible and very large with 5 steps down into pool area, 4 sunbeds included with umbrella. Rooms and bathrooms were very big and spacious. Turndown service was a lovely touch and daily room spray if there was any insects. Al a carte breakfast was a nice selection. Walking distance to great restaurants, coffee places and to shopping area in Canggu. Staff very lovely and accommodating.

No shelf in shower for bathroom products. Folding doors to pool were heavy and didn't slide smoothly making it very hard to open and close. Aircon leaking in 1 of the rooms.

Nothing except maybe the same music all the time on and pretty loud but it's only a detail and also the pillows that were too thick

We had such a wonderful stay at Tapa Tepi Kali Canggu! The staff were incredibly lovely — warm, friendly, and so thoughtful. On my birthday, they surprised me by singing happy birthday and bringing out homemade pancakes with candles — it was the sweetest gesture and made the day feel so special. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and beautifully styled. The location is fab too — close to all the best spots in Canggu, but still peaceful and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend it more — we’ll definitely be back!

All the staff are excellent, the rooms are good, beds comfortable. The pool at the private villa and main pool are great. The breakfasts are superb. The service by I Made Deni Irawan and his complete team are outstanding, as a family we were very impressed by him and his team, thanks very very much.

To be honest, Bali is too busy. Narrow roads with many many scooters and cars is putting too much pressure on them and movement over short distance is taking too long. Once you get to a location its great, just the amount of time to get there is taking too long.

It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, spacious and all the appliances were perfectly functional and helpful. Unlike typical hotels, Tapa Tepi Kali left us feeling well taken care of, intimate and attentive to our requests. The staff were friendly and patient. Especially appreciative of how gracious they were in terms of providing comfortable sized beds and thick pillows to our liking. We also did not face any issues with bugs or mosquitoes.

Tapa Tepi Kali was in fact a perfect stay for our 3 nights trip, the only slight lament would be for breakfast. Though the dishes (notably the sweeter ones) were well done, they do take a long time to prepare and serve since it’s made to order. We always had arrived for breakfast at 7 on the dot (the earliest opening), usually only us being the only guests there at that hour, and we’d still have to wait for quite a sizeable time for the dishes to arrive. The array could also be increased. It would have been more suitable if the massages were offered to be provided in a separate avenue as opposed to in our room itself.

Good location close to restaurants and reasonable walk to the beach. Room has a modern design with view over the pool area. Good breakfast selection and pleasant helpful staff.

Bed mattress uncomfortable - sagged in sleeping positions- suggest replacing. Room next to stairway which was noisy after hours on certain nights. Suggest that keys kept at reception are kept locked especially after hours. Suggest adding more deck chairs to the pool area for guests.

I stayed for 2 weeks at Tapa Tepi and can honestly say is by far the best place to stay in Bali. Amazing breakfast, spacious rooms, top quality hotel in terms of cleanliness and customer service. You feel at home the moment you enter the hotel lobby. My stay included a scrumptious breakfast which was a bonus for me. Anything you need they will go out of their way to make sure your needs are provided. I am most thankful for Deni for his support and kindness in taking care of me and my friend whenever we needed to get out of Canggu. Deni I adore you. The hotel offers good tour guide option don’t need to go elsewhere they have the best prices🙌🏾. I would also like to thank Dede for his outstanding hospitality, Yogi for his top notch service and the whole crew at Tapa whom I admire for their dedication and professionalism, I wish I could remember all the names but you are in my heart forever. Lastly I would like to thank Sudiyasa the hotel Manager for his attentiveness and leadership to keep pushing forward in making Tapa Tepi an even better destination of choice. I found my second home and I will be back soon 🫶🏾❤️

Loved this property, it is quiet , clean, staff wonderful welcome drink was refreshing. My son and I celebrated our Birthdays wonderful floating breakfast staff sung happy birthday with delicious decorated pancakes . Deni kept in touch organized driver answered questions. Sonar and the sweet front desk lady (I forgot her name ) was very helpful . That 2 bedroom villa was 5 Star , large the pool big clean perfect family of 5 . Thank you everyone ! I would definitely return !
