An excellent option for a stay after a meal at the Michelin-starred restaurant onsite. The included breakfast is delicious and generous as well. The rooms are very nice, with lots of in-room amenities including complimentary bottled still and sparkling water as well as bathrobes. The decor is modern, with the bedroom area dark and moody and the bathrooms bright and well-lit. The chef/owner Uros greeted me personally and helped me get settled in the room along with providing great conversation. The property is installing a swimming pool which will be a nice addition in the summer months. There is plentiful free on-site parking in a gated lot attached to the hotel.

The hotel is slightly outside of the center, so there isn't much to do within walking distance. However, the hotel's location on the edge of town made it easy to get into and out of the city to explore the nearby wine regions of Vipava Valley and Goriska brda. There were no narrow or one-way streets to make it difficult to navigate!

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! The room was incredibly modern, stylish, and spotless — everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail really made me feel comfortable and pampered. But the real highlight? The dinner was absolutely phenomenal - thanks to Uroš — truly one of the most memorable dining experiences we have ever had. Every dish was a masterpiece, both in flavor and presentation. Uroš and his team were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. We will definitely be coming back — this place is a gem!

DAM Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel that is well situated to explore not only the Slovenian wine region, but also to easily explore all of Slovenia's many charms. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and beautifully landscaped, including a newly added pool. There is a lovely bar that serves the restaurant for pre/post dining cocktails and is also used for the breakfast service. Michelin starred DAM Restaurant situated in the hotel is something to be experienced! It is helmed by the charming chef Uroš Fakuč and every course is personally supervised by him; mouthwatering seafood prepared to perfection! And highly recommend getting the wine pairing; Uroš pairs every course with wine from the region. The meal was so good, we went back the next night; chef Uroš prepared a seven-course meal just for us so that we didn’t have to eat the same thing twice! Talk about personalized service. If you are visiting Slovenia, especially the wine region, there is no reason to look any further than Dam Boutique Hotel and Restaurant!

Lovely hotel a little bit out of town but the food is exceptional. Very warm welcome and friendly staff. The owner is a talented chef and the breakfast was amazing. Swimming pool was very refreshing after a long day cycling. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

The hotel is perfectly new and offers huge rooms with excellent equipment and very tasteful interior. Also, a free parking lot is a big advantage. The owner has built his dream here and runs the hotel adjacent to his Michelin star restaurant with a love and passion we found adorable. We did not get to try the food in the restaurant-all booked out-but saw all the happy people enjoying dinner when returning to our room-it sure is delicious.

The location is not ideal-an industrial zone just outside Nova Gorica. Still, the city center is within walking distance, but we were a bit unlucky with the weather, which put a small downer on an otherwise nice experience. I think when staying there, one should combine it with a visit to the restaurant.

The owner is an outstanding courteous, friendly and customer focused host. The quality of the food and the service of the restaurant was an outstanding experience. Just faboulous, to tell the truth! The rooms are very tasteful equipped, just stronger light would be helpful.

Our stay at DAM was amazing! Uros was incredibly helpful in setting up wine tastings at local venues and in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We wound up staying an extra night! The rooms are spacious and well equipped. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in a central location to many different attractions (Venice, Brda, and Predjama are all a short drive a way) this is definitely where you should stay.
