The location is very nice. Just near the river Weser. You can walk to the center in about 20 minutes, you walk nicely along the riverside. If you rent a bike from the hotel it will take 10 minutes i guess. Also a tram rides you to the centre. The hotelrooms are nice and clean. And we did not hear a thing from the hall or neighbours. The beds are firm and soft ( about the pillows, read my comment what we did not like). The staff was very nice and welcoming. We ate at the restaurant, wow, so good ( choose the schnitzel and the waffle).

I dont understand why a hotel of this standard isn’t able to provide decent pillows on the beds. They are awfull. If you take four you still lay flat in you re bed. It gave me headaches. We’ve stayed in many different hotels and at a few of them you could pick out your pillows by yourself. Those places provided comfort. If we had better pillows the review would come out as a 10. A minor thing… i asked for a decaf cappuccino at breakfast, that wasn t possible.

- you have to put out a sign if you want your room cleaned, this policy does not suit a 4 star hotel - many signs posted on what to do and not to do - empty mini bar in rooms, you are asked to pick up snacks and drinks at front desk - currently a system interface is somehow broken and you cannot charge food or drinks to your room, this will hopefully be fixed soon - one side of the hotel has a railway track next to it leading to a railway bridge

It is a modern hotel with a comfortable bed and a wonderful breakfast buffet. There are two nice saunas on the 6th floor with a view of the River Weser. It is quiet and you can take a nice walk along the River banks.

Unfortunately, the steam bath was not working during our stay and the repair job is complicated. One day the room maid threw away our empty bottles (with return) and a travelling bottle as well which were placed on the table. The tram no. 3 to downtown was unfortunately out of service on 2 days which caused confusion for us.

The room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally comfortable. The facilities were excellent, with the spa being a particular highlight. The location was perfect, especially for traveling with a pet—plenty of greenery nearby while still offering great connections to the city center.

I found the €30 pet fee a bit pricey, but since I was informed in advance, it wasn’t an issue - especially considering the overall stay offered great value for money. Parking fee also on the pricer side, but many free parking spots in close vacinity.

We think the hotel has nice price/quality ratio. Fast service. We asked for quiet room and our request was fulfilled — no extraneous noise reached our river view top floor room. Breakfast variety was very good and there is useful reminder about restaurant occupation in the morning hours in the elevators. Spacious bathroom. We also liked top floor sauna with river view.

Pillows were somewhat difficult to rest on — too dense.

The location was great, right along the Weser promenade. The room was nice, but there was nothing "deluxe" about it. It was your average hotel room and considering the price and Steigenberger name, I would have expected a bit more.

Breakfast for an additional 26€ per person is pretty over the top. Prices are of course higher end. None the less, a nice hotel, with a bit of a walk into town. Not much around the hotel as far as restaurants, etc.. goes.

Nice hotel. Nice room. It's a nice walk along the riverside to get into the old town. The young man who checked us out was really friendly and helpful both at check out and when we returned to get our luggage and taxi. He is a credit to the hotel. We only spent an hour or so at the hotel bar, sitting outside in the sun, however, it was lovely and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Cleaning staff also very friendly around the hotel.

The evening receptionist who checked us in seemed to be irritated at having to check us in. The following evening we returned and I asked if the bar was open to which she replied 'you could just go and ask yourself'. If she was new, or just didn't know she could have said. I would expect staff not to be openly annoyed at simple questions, or at checking us in. Thankfully the other staff we encountered were more friendly.

Stayed 10 nights: location at the river Weser, quiet (not facing the two bridges with their heavy traffic), very clean, complimentary water in room, very pleasant staff, lavish breakfast buffet, close walking distance to the trendy Europahafen area and restaurants, Strassenbahnhaltestelle/streecar close by

Fitness area too small for more than two people using weights, bed comforters not appropriate for warm weather

Very nice and modern hotel with very good breakfast. Located at the local river/harbour. You can opt out from the room service and you get voucher to use in the restaurant - cool idea. Spa is available on site and car parking is just next door.

The hotel is located next to a railway so if you are unlucky to get a room from this side you may struggle to sleep well. No ironing facilities in rooms so you have to ask at reception to get one.

This is a nice modern hotel, with attached multi-level car park, situated right on the river. A pleasant 12 minure riverside stroll to the bars and restaurants of Bremen and just a short further walk to the old town. There is also a very well sited riverview bar terrace on the premises and a couple of nice looking bars and restaurants on either side of the hotel.

Maybe a little too far away from the city centre tourist spots, for some.
