Comfy bed. Everything you could need for a night or two. Re-stocked essentials in room after first night. Friendly staff.

Hit & Miss with food at restaurant. First meal good , second meal disappointing- some food burnt and dry & an item missing ( they did take it off the bill). Again first night service was quick & food tasty. Second night waited ages to order (20 mins). Drinks came after a short wait - food took over an hour! Didn’t return for breakfast in the morning due to the disappointment of the night before. Dirty chair in room- didn’t use it to sit on. We could hear staff discussing customers who had complained and how much they had done in taking for the night- strange.

Everything except wifi

To get free wifi I was asked usual questions plus date of birth. However, the date of birth field gave the current month, and for each month you were born prior you have to scroll one month at a time. Being 76 years old this involved scrolling 912 times. However, the system timed out well before getting there. Reason given for asking the question is to check you are over 18. I tried saying I was 18 to get access, but it timed out after 10 years. Maybe an 18 year old with very quick fingers could do it but for me it was impossible. No other hotel has ever asked for date of birth to give access to wifi!

Warm welcome from friendly, happy staff. This was an unplanned visit - I had other accommodation in the area booked, but the owner failed to turn up to check me in and then cancelled my booking after I had waited there an hour. The staff at the Lobster Pot were very kind, making sure I had a room with them for the night and going out of their way to make my unplanned visit perfect. Great food, large comfy and very quiet bedroom. Will definitely visit again

There was nothing I did not like. If I was being picky I would say the single beds were too narrow, I think only 3 foot. It was a large room and could easily fit wider beds.

Staff - particularly Jay. Very very clean. Quiet. Air con.

Booking.com screwed us all over by not responding or communicating to venue that I was a power wheelchair user. We found that we had been allocated to a no lift 2nd floor room with bath despite stated needs were on booking! Atrocious!! Thanks to Jay. It got mostly sorted other than for the ability to be able to shower properly. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, it broiled my PTSD and utterly ruined our 1st evening and the following morning of our holiday...

A good choice for breakfast, pleasant staff. Location is ideal for the local beach and all main road routes. Room was clean, beds comfy.

I was a little frustrated that there wasn’t a lower cost option for the Continental breakfast especially when you’re child only wants 1 piece of toast. I found myself willing my son to eat more to make sure it was good value for money. I found the cost of £6-95??? A little excessive for a slice of toast and a glass of juice. I’d suggest a “Small Appetite” or Child’s breakfast option would be appropriate.

We enjoyed our stay at the lobster pot. But in hindsight there were a couple of things I would do before. I should have asked for an extra key card (only one offered) as I had to leave my wife in the room on a couple of occasions, but having to take the key card left her in the dark. Also as she has difficulty in walking I would ask for a room downstairs as she struggled with the stairs. Overall the room itself was very clean and comfortable with plenty of bedding and towels. We did eat in the pub itself for breakfast (very good) and Sunday dinner. I was warned the day before that the menu would be limited as they had run out of food the week before. And it was true, the menu did have a lot of items missing on Sunday afternoon. What we did order was very pleasant indeed. The staff in the pub were very nice and professional. All in all, a very nice place to eat and sleep and if we return to Bridlington again, a place to keep in mind.

Hotel room was similar to most others and clean. Bed was comfortable. Evening meal in the restaurant was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and good value. It was served on a large plate which made it look like small portions, but it was adequate.

I believe that the orange juice at breakfast was watered down. If it wasn't, then it wasn't a good quality brand. Made toast, but had to ask for butter and was supplied with 2 small pieces in a separate pot, i.e. it felt like it was rationed!! We didn't ask for more, but I assume that would have been provided?

Comfy bed and well heated bed room with bath as well as a shower very good

Toilet roll poor quality too hard and thin plus room not cleaned serviced so not enough towels or tea coffee milks for 2 night stay had to ask restaurant for more next day. Bins full not emptied so not very good on maid service but worst was the food in restaurant. Invited friends for dinner so table of 6 very small portions but the Sunday roast beef was inedible sent back and had to wait for another meal soggy vegetable and potatoes poor quality meat still charged full price no reduction only apology. We all still gave 15% tip on top of £109 bill as waitress very good but was highly disappointed with food and embarrassed as asked family and friends to join us there to eat.

We liked the anonymity of the place, we could come and go as we pleased and didnt feel obliged to make conversations

Breakfast was extra. We stayed for 3 nights so paid for 3 breakfasts x2 people. My husband was disappointed with his choice each day. He tried the omelette, classic and pancakes. I had the classic each day and each day it varied, from bland sausages, overcooked bacon to a snotty egg. We have had better in the town for the same price or less but I booked it there as my husband has been very ill and couldnt manage the walk into town.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was only a 10 minute walk from South Side Beach. The rooms were not located in the pub, so you didn’t get disturbed. Enjoyed a lovely tea in the pub. A few vegetarian options, lots of meat options, and a fab dessert menu. The pub is a lovely comfortable social place to sit and relax after been on the seafront all day. Very good value for money.

The only thing about the stay that was disappointing was the breakfast. It was good value for money, if you had the full English, you got continental included for less than £10. Breakfast was served between 7ish-10.30, we went in around 9.30. Unfortunately, breakfast was very dry and we think had been kept in the oven. We did eat it, just left a little, I’m a bit of a (well, you get what you pay for kind of gal) the pain au chocolate and orange juice was a good option. Wouldn’t put me off staying again. I would just have the continental brekky.
