Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Many hotels use that dreadfull self service toaster which gives toast that is un-cooked one side and burnt on the other. Ransdale's toast was as it should be and brought to the table. Our room was fine in all respects, although the hot summer week made sleeping difficult because the sun baked the room during the afternoon and early evening. The hotel had provided a large fan which did help.

Time could have been saved at breakfast if the waiter could take our main course when the cereal was brought but 'the hotel doesn't work like that ' was the response. Noise from the main road. 35 steps to the room. Not a lot the hotel can do about that

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful with the room and parking. We stayed in the family room which was very spacious with two large windows, a big TV and a nice en suite. We were very comfortable there. It was very hot during our stay and we had a fan, which to be honest wasn't enough, but that was bad luck with the weather and 4 of us in a room. We had breakfast, which was included in the price, and really enjoyed the selection of food and drink. There was a range of cereals followed by a cooked breakfast which included traditional fry up or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. My teen daughter had this and felt very sophisticated! They were also happy to bring extra toast, juice etc. It was such a nice breakfast and a real treat. It was our first time in Bridlington and we would definitely come back and stay again. We usually stay in Premier Inns and this was so much nicer. I really hope we can come back!

Fantastic hosts and staff. Nothing too much trouble. Very welcoming and friendly. Knowledgeable on the area. Rooms well equipped and very clean. Beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast excellent all fresh Evening meals excellent, freshly cooked and very gud value for money. Gud portions. Gud location. 5 minute walk to beach. 10 minute walk to town centre. Definitely recommend and definitely stay again

We had a really nice stay, the hotel is just down the street to the beach and about a 10 minute walk into town. The staff really made the stay and Tim, Louise and Nick in particular were always on hand for anything we needed. We ate in the restaurant one night which was a nice experience and the food was lovely. The whole stay felt really relaxed from checking in to leaving. We took our dog with us which meant that she could enjoy the holiday too so it was great that this facility is available. We went to Bempton Cliffs one day which was brilliant and only about a 15 min car drive from the hotel. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Easy parking, even though the car park itself was full. lovely breakfast, lovely friendly and efficient staff . Even though i had the single room it was quite spacious with a 3/4 bed , nice big bathroom , spotlessly clean . Good bar facility with a great barman , really chatty even tho we kept him up later than normal.

Its not really a fault of the hotel , but the main road was quite noisy at times . Wasnt really a problem for the 2 nights that we were there but i would imagine that it my be annoying after a weeks stay. And really if you were on the front .

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Good location. We travelled as 2 adults 2 children for the diva dance comp at Bridlington spa. Breakfast was served from 8am but they were kind enough to change the time to enable us to have it earlier as we had to leave before 8. They also provided me with a permit for car parking when the car park was full so I parked just outside the property. All in all a nice stay and would book again.

I can’t say I didn’t like the property. The only thing was the room felt a little too warm but then really cold on a morning. The shower was cold on the morning too. The 3rd bed was a sofa bed which wasn’t the comfiest but I asked for an extra duvet which was no problem so I used that for extra padding. My own fault for letting the children pick the beds!

We booked very last minute and would have preferred a double bed but twins were ok, we were just grateful we were allowed to bring the dog! The room and building in general are very clean, the dining room is exceptionaly clean. Breakfasts were excellent! 10/10. Dog was even allowed in the dining room which was wonderful! The decor is somewhat outdated but tbh they make the best of what they have and standards are high. The staff are friendly and kind. The location is perfect, out of town a little but only a few minutes walk to the centre and in a much nicer area two minutes to the beach! Hotel great, Bridlington not so much...needs alot of improvements!!

A little later check out but totally understand the need to vacate the rooms so they can be prepped for the next visitors.

We received a warm welcome from the owner, who couldn't do enough for us. The room was small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had plenty of tea and coffee and products in the bathroom. We were in Bridlington for a show at The Spa Theatre and the hotel is well placed to walk into town.We stopped for a drink in the well stocked bar after the show and enjoyed talking to the owner and other friendly people from the town.The breakfast was of a really high standard and cooked fresh to order. We walked to Flamborough from the hotel and caught the bus back which stops right outside the hotel. Great to have found this gem and would recommend it to anyone staying in the town.

The welcome was very warm and friendly considering we arrived while the owner was very busy, he was very kind, curtious and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and well proportioned. The bed was very comfy and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and when you travel with 2 very fussy eaters it a great accomplishment to make us all happy with a meal. The staff were all very helpful, kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for our peaceful lovely stay!
