Asty is an unusually friendly hotel (and I have travelled a lot)! Cereals, milk, juices, fruits, coffee are left in the kitchen throughout the day and night, and customers can help themselves to them free of charge! The dining room is open, and customers can bring in their own food, e.g., purchased from a nearby takeaway, use the plates and utensils of the hotel, and have their meal there for free. To top it all up: we were there over Christmas, and we were invited to join the owners and their extended family to lunch or dinner on Christmas day/New Year's day on the premises, again for free. All staff, from check in to cleaning to owners is extremely friendly and ready to help you in any way they can. It doesn't get better than this.

The renovated rooms are spacious and modern. We did stay in an "old" room one night, and this was not great (albeit clean), but they are in the process of renovating one room after the other, and they were happy to move us to a renovated room for the remaining week of our stay. The two big lobby areas have rather tired, but comfortable, furniture. It is a 30-minute walk to the center, but if you rent a car (which is the best way to get around Cyprus), there is free parking at the hotel parking and on the street. Still, all things considered, this hotel is great value for money, and it leaves you with a good feeling.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure that my room was cleaned regularly and booked my taxi back to the airport for me. It was nice to be able to start the day with a buffet breakfast. I liked the fact that it was included as part of the total price I paid, instead of me having to pay extra for it. The hotel is located in a peaceful area and is conveniently located near shops and a food outlet which sells pastry and hot food. There are bus stops nearby, but there are no bus times posted at the bus stops. So should you feel like walking instead, the hotel is within easy walking distance of old Nicosia and the city centre.

The water pressure of the sink tap was sometimes low. The toilet tank was slow to fill back up.

This hotel is in quiet residential area of Nicosia. For the price it provides good accomodation services.There is water kettle, tea and coffee in the room as well as fridge. Some shampoo and soap is also provided. Hairdryer in in living room. Bed is big and comfortable. WiFi works well. Breakfast is reasonable - cold cuts, breads, muslies and flakes, yoghurt, sweets etc. Eggs prepared according to the preference. Excellent option is 24/7 free snacks offer - tea, coffee, fruits, smetimes yoghurt, breakfast cereals - all the time available for free. Also possibility to use hotel bikes for free.

As the hotel is somewhat distant to the centre, would be good if transfer (to/from airport or at least to/from airport express bus stop) would be on offer. I have been in this hotel before but this time I somehow felt it is somewhat neglected. Specially from the cleaning point of view.

Big comfortable hotel, great big room with a nice balcony. I think I was upgraded to a suite as the room had a sofa, desk and special zebra decorations everywhere and I dont remember booking that. Brilliant room with so much character. Very comfortable and a brilliant shower. Bed big and comfortable Breakfast was plentiful with a choice of fresh prepared eggs. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is in a quiet residential area with a few good eating places nearby (recommend Souvakia Andress for simple local dining) Bikes, gym all available, but I didnt use either

Is a bit of a walk from the town espacially in the hot sun. Busses seemed rare but I dont think the taxi is expensive though I didn't use it.

Fantastic hotel, I'm really glad I chose to stay here. The management were very helpful, and when I asked for a quiet room on the top floor, I was given one. The room was very comfortable, and I loved having the balcony in particular. Breakfast was copious and delicious, and I was so impressed with the additional snacks, desserts, tea, coffee, juice etc. available at any time - this shows they really care for their guests! I also loved the old-school feel to the library and communal room, as well as the free bike hire which made the trip to the city centre much easier. Thank you for a great stay in Nicosia!

I have never seen such a fantastic offering in any other hotel before, and it truly enhances the overall experience. The breakfast is excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The location is perfect—just a short distance from the city center, making it easy to explore Nicosia while enjoying the peace and comfort of the hotel. With all these amazing amenities at such a reasonable price, Asty Hotel is an outstanding choice for anyone visiting the city. Highly recommended!

The hotel staff were the best; everyone was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything. The hotel facilities were good, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was decent, but I would have appreciated a bit more variety.

Everything at the hotel was very good overall, but if I had to point out a minor downside, it would be the location, as it is a bit far from the city center on foot. However, there is a nearby bus stop, and by bus, it takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the heart of the city.

Lucked out with an outstanding executive room decorated by an eccentric (Zebra theme). Quirky travellers' hotel, different. Staff shockingly friendly & helpful. Somehow comp'd a free breakie (good price anyway) but took a snack later in the day instead, didn't want to abuse hospitality. Gym downstairs, game room, TV lounges (but cable TV in room superfine, ditto WiFi). Certainly had impression a place to meet folks (20s, 30s) in season and potentially a place to hole up on an extended business trip if the diplomatic neighbourhood works for you. They also have a small fleet of bicycles (for rent I presume). 30min walk from downtown, or to UNic in the other direction. Loved the bed.

No pool. Only becomes important in summer, plus I could see the neighbour's lovely one from the balcony. Was alone! You need to share this room as it's hilarious. Not a regular 3*, but boutique.

The management and the personnel are very helpful and friendly and they will do their best to accommodate your needs and requests (especially the mgnt). They will make you feel at home, they even invited me to join them on their Clean Monday lunch. 24/7 choice of free refreshments and coffee. 20 mins walk from the center, located in a residential area. Some 7-8 min away from grocery stores/convenient stores/coffee shops and eateries. Bus stop across the street. Facility from what I thought offer free use of bikes (if I am wrong pls do correct me) offering the possibility of rides around the area.

We stayed here for the second time in 3 months (we spent 7 days and checked out just today), we chose this hotel again because we were very satisfied the first time round, so we had no hesitation in choosing where to stay the second time. The owner is a very nice man, all the staff is also very hospitable. They communicate very well in English, and are in general very friendly. I was particularly impressed in how accommodated we felt, for example, i needed a fan for my room (as i generally do not sleep without one, winter or summer) and they went into the trouble of fetching one for us from storage - which i really appreciated. Since we spent a whole week in our room (due to medical reasons), we put the do not disturb sign out front to pass on daily cleaning, so whenever we asked for a change of towels they always offered more than we needed and other consumables, which was nice. Breakfast was very good and had a vast variety. Fresh eggs are cooked to ones liking, although there were also boiled eggs in the buffet section. Coffee/teas/juices/water & fruit are offered 24/7. Even cutlery is left available in case one orders take away. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel, and if we are to visit Nicosia again, Asty hotel will be our first preference no doubt.
