Price quality this place is good. Nowadays many stays in Barcelona are either very expensive or they have something shared, this place is somewhere in the middle. I also like the idea that a building is being used while its empty (students throughout the year -> tourists during vacation). The staff was friendly and I liked the location, normally I stay in El Born but this was only 10 minutes walk from there.

There was a heatwave and I booked a room without AC lol.. It was so hot inside the room!! And I only had a ventilator, but it's my own fault I should've booked a room with AC. Anyways, not really the hotel fault that the weather was extraordinary hot :)

we received an email about us having breakfast included (it was the most expensive accommodation throughtout our trip so it was not surprising) but when se got to the residence they told us that email was a mistake, we'd have liked another clarifying email, otherwise, everything was as expected

Good value for money. The information and photos in the site are correct, the staff is friendly and helpful. The residence offers small but comfortable rooms with the necessary amenities for a shorter or longer stay. It has a kitchen box, private bathroom, daily cleaning service, weekly change of sheets and breakfast. The breakfast is a choice between a sandwich or a croissant, plus a soft drink (Cola, juice) or water and coffee or tea. There is a small garden with tables and a lounge with vending machines and a TV on the ground floor. There is a lift to get to the higher floors. The wi-fi signal is strong. The location is near the public transport, there are two metro stations nearby. the Park Ciutadella is next to the residence, which is a great place to relax and roam.

More hangers in the wardrobe would be a plus.

The location was amazing - easily accessing any part of Barcelona. The staff were very nice and accommodating - especially the cleaners who were very sweet! The reception is open 24/7 which is amazing if you are someone who likes to go clubbing and have a problem in the middle of the night. The rooms are standard. They are exactly what a student accommodation is like so if you’re looking for a hotel stay - this isn’t the place. They are rooms where multiple students have stayed in so expect it to look used. However, if you’re looking for an affordable room solely to be able to get ready, sleep and shower comfortably in this is the place.

The breakfast was a little shocking. Every day is the same choice between a baguette & a croissant with either juice, water or cola. I would have at least assumed you could have gotten a baguette with a croissant but it’s either/or. To call one croissant and a juice "breakfast" is very deceiving. However, you do get what you paid for so it’s up to you to decide if you want a snack rather than a breakfast. The shower also gets clogged really easily so if you have long hair just be prepared! INCREDIBLY HOT. There is no AC, and you only have a fan, and I would advise against using them as they are very dusty and you’d probably get sick using it. Just be prepared to boil in your room every day haha (Barcelona is worth it)

What is there to complain about? Travelled alone. Great location, Sorli, Mercadona and Lidl shops close by. Bars and restaurants as you step foot outside. Transport at Arc de Triumf and the tram for shopping at Glories just around the corner. About 10 minutes walking to the beach or 5 in El Born for bars and restaurants. Even if it is a student accommodation it was silent. All that you need in the room and it even has a kitchenette! Has a gym and a place to lounge. Bear in mind that it was created for a student so don’t expect a 5* experience. The girls at the reception were oh-so-nice! Always with a smile on their face and happy to help. For the money paid it’s an imbattable value in Barcelona.

Maybe it could’ve been cleaned better before entering but nothing concerning.

good location for daily trips, close to the beach, 2 km far away from the old part of Barcelona and Sagrada. The rest, Park Guel, Montjuic, poble espanol...very far, but you can go by metro which is 500 m away. Keep in mind that is no air condition.

the ventilator was not good, I asked another one...a little better...but no effect

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The rooms were allright, nothing unexpected. But the area where its located is pretty great as well. The bar right next to the residence serves some excellent breakfast.

It was quite hot, and the fans provided were only little help

The staff at the entrance are the most kind people I’ve met. Especially if you know little Spanish. Location is great with the L1 not too far away and parc de la Ciutadella.

The fan that’s inside the room to cool you down doesn’t do much. But that’s not completely its fault

Opposite the park, close walk to Bus station North, 20 mins to the beach. With kitchenette

Second floor with window to the road with restaurant underneath meant there were customers till about 2400 and as the chairs remain accessible through the night a group of people was there around 3 to 4 in the morning. On the other hand lovely bird song and the occasional bus on Sunday morning

Nice option for an affordable single room with an en suite (which I was looking for on the first stop of my trip!) No air conditioning but an excellent fan was provided which was nice when falling asleep. Shower was excellent. Bed comfortable. Staff were also very friendly and helpful (on my check out day they kindly kept my bag before I had to catch my bus).
