It feels like glamping. A little cleaner than camping, but still camping. That means the floors of the cabins will be dirty with mud, but the bed is clean and an actual bed, there’s bathroom facilities out there in a short walk (but also with mud). Overall well planned, but it’s not a clean clean environment or vacation. There are signs about hantavirus everywhere

There could be more lights or a clear remark saying that you need flashlights (or even head lights). At night when you shower or go to the bathroom, that’s outside the cabins and the walk there can be long and for sure dark. Could also have a better system to not make the floors so muddy everywhere. Maybe a couple of towels or carpets at the entryways to clean the shoes

The perfect place to stay in the heart of the park. A great hikers atmosphere in the village, with the common room and restaurants. Very easy access to some incredible trails either by walking or frequent shuttle.

Manage your expectations, you are staying in a tent.

Being able to see the most popular sights like Half Dome, North Dome and Indian Rock right within Curry Village itself was amazing. The heated tent was spacious and was a very good choice, because temperatures in Yosemite Valley can dip to freezing all the way until April/May. We all loved how we were able to access trailheads and viewpoints either within walking distance, or at most a short drive away. There's a good variety of decent restaurants in the Curry Village/Yosemite Valley area, and food prices were surprisingly decent for the location we were in. Metal bear boxes (padlock not provided) were available outside each tent, which made bear-proof storage easy. Included free parking and entry permits for Curry Village guests would be huge plus during the peak summer months in Yosemite.

More information about the bear boxes (like pictures and demonstrations) could be made available to guests looking to stay at Curry Village, as that was the key point of uncertainty for me as somebody who hasn't stayed overnight at a place like Yosemite Valley before.

Love the place and location we had unheated tent it wasn't so cold untill 6am-7am but we bringed sleeping bag that helped us alot. No internet inside tent, no plugs inside tent so prepare youreself there is no signal on youre phone or internet. Internet only at near office area ( WiFi) playing room there is internet bad wifi but you are able to check email not movie. Also there is plugs inside play room and outside playroom. Make sure they give u right key for your because is miss it up and takes alot time. The food no choice i will say bad hamburgers and chikens , pizza maybe a good choice. Food is really challenging to be honest. Make sure you bring your own snacks not to be hungry. When my kids wanted pizza we had to wait 2 hours because of line. Other then that the place and location is amazing. Food,No signal on the phone or WiFi is really bad bad bad.

Food. WiFi. No signal on phone.

The obvious advantage is being right in the center of the valley, heating worked quite well and there is a bus stop nearby (for the free valley shuttle). You cannot properly lock yourself in (there's just a small latch) and all of your food needs to be kept in the bear proof box in front of your tent house. Everything was tidy and clean. The staff is very helpful and nice. Showers and restrooms are located in separate buildings (like 4 for the village) to which you have to remember the code given at check in. Wifi is there as well for some areas might be too weak, my tent was on the edge. There is just one chair (simple rack and beds and just one electrical outlet.

Camp Curry is an awesome way to experience Yosemite NP and the Yosemite Valley as well. The location is centralized in the park, has every amenity you need when camping (showers, dining hall, clean bathrooms), and is located very close to shuttle stops that take you everywhere in the park. The dining hall provides hot water, and guests can use two microwaves that are available. Since I visited solo, it was easy to heat pre-prepped food that I had brought over. Wifi isn't all too bad, but is only available in the dining hall. Staying at this camp is awesome if you're looking to truly experience the nature and beauty that Yosemite provides. The heated tents are a must for the colder seasons, but I can imagine the non-heated tents are great during warmer climate seasons.

My only issue is that despite having the heater, things were very cold at night when it snowed (I'd even brought an extra blanket). On nights without snow, the heater was very solid and kept the tent/cabin very cozy. Snow, on the other hand, accumulated on the roof of the tent, which kept the internal temperature much cooler resulting in the heater not being as effective. However, it's not like this is a situation that can't be remedied. There are blankets provided by the camp, and one should always check weather conditions when planning a NP trip.

The location is very convenient. There is a nice store in the area and food options. They also have a lounge where we hung out for a while and it was nice and warm. You can’t cook right there but we found a picnic area less than 10 minutes away where we could use a grill. I always found the bathrooms clean which is something I really appreciate.

The tents are very close to each other and you can hear everything. In my case the people next to us had a dog and kids. They started making noise even before sunrise. I also would suggest to provide more blankets at least during winter time. Luckily I read some reviews before the trip and decided to bring extra blankets from home.

The location was great! I was inside Yosemite National Park and close to the Yosemite Village Center. The toilet and showers were really warm, which I appreciated a lot during a winter stay. I booked a heated room and the heater was working fine, the room was toasty during the whole stay. The facilities like the coffee cafe and pub served warm meals and good coffee. Drinking water was available.

I visited the site during a rainy day and there was a big puddle in front of our tent. So, whenever I entered or exited the tent, my feet got wet. The ground was flooded in some places. There were no lights outside, so I needed to use a head torch during the night.

I like everything in this camp

1. I had to go outside of the tent for a shower and using the restroom. 2. the facility of the unheated tent showed the heating on booking. com is wrong. But the staff was kindly help me switch to heated tent with a little bit extra fee

Just for the experience, camping in November was great and the view is beautiful. The night was one of the first coldest of the season when we arrived and it was great to have a heated tent. Beds are simple with a cover and a very thin blanket so without heating you would need lots of layers (in cold night). Finding the place at night was a bit of a problem. Everything is poorly lit (which is brilliant once you are used to the dim light!) and signage are very hard to see at dark so don't arrive late at the place. The queue for the check in was very long with a mix of people queuing to be checked in or others from the camp asking for informations/questions. The food on site is a bit pricey but the pizzas very delicious and big. Cooking your own food on site or eating in your own tent are forbidden and would be problematic as it attracts bears so everything has to be locked away at night (even food left in your car). The communal shower rooms and toilets are fine and clean.

It really feels like a business more than a relaxing place to stay with so many people cramped into a campsite with tent next to each others and wood log cabins too. Parking is away from the tent (which is perfect as it means no car traffic in camp) but car needs to be all emptied.
