Excellent location in the city center and feels safe to walk. I arrived at night and walking around looking for restaurants that opens so late. Grocery store (U) right downstairs and some shops. The breakfast room at 4th floor has fantastic views of Tana city. Rooms were cleaned daily, fast WiFi, friendly staff. Also, there’s an elevator, in fact, the hotel is at the 5th floor. They also have security downstairs, but don’t trust some offer you to help but they ask money.

Beware! There’s two Hotel La Pousse Pousse in Antananarivo: one in Ivato near the airport and one in the center. Ensure you book the right one in Antaninarenina—the one in the city center, also to clarify with taxi drivers. The hotel location is almost 2 hours drive to the airport during rush hours. Make sure to leave on time for your flight. Taxi price to the airport and vice versa costs 70.000 ariary don’t pay more. Of course you should set your price before getting on the cab. The hotel offer a shuttle for 101.000 ariary which was a ripped off. There are taxis downstairs line-up just approach one of them.

Well located and clean. Decent value for money. Airport pick up went well, especially considering we were the very last passengers through immigration. Staff, especially Yvette on reception, very helpful in arranging onward transport and sorting out room safe problem. One tip, the ATM in the nearby BRI Bank only gives out up to 200000 MGA (for a fee). The Soc Gen just a little further away dispenses up to 800000 MGA for around the same fee (10000 MGA).

The pillows are very small however the hotel provide more on request.

Breakfast is available at extra cost and my favorite was egg and avocado toast. Location is very convenient as it’s closer to all good tourist spots. Taxi is always available outside the hotel. The room is always clean and the staffs are helpful and cooperative.

Property is old, there is no lift from reception 4th floor to a level above so you have to carry your luggage using steps. What annoyed me too much is the beggar outside the hotel. I wish hotel management or authority do something to ban them. They must be moved to some secured and comfortable place.

This is an excellent hotel in terms of location in the high part of the city, a great budget option if you have meetings to attend, etc. There are two supermarkets downstairs where you can get literally anything that you need. The room had a small fridge, very spacious, King bed, spotless bathroom. Good restaurants nearby such as La Varangue, Le Louvre, and Buffet du Jardin.

A microwave would be great because the hotel only serves breakfast (I think) and regardless, if you are not feeling well it is great to be able to just heat up some food in your room.

Perfect location, super nice and helpful staff and I recommend everyone to book a massage: Sooo good. Perfect hotel for our 3 day stopover after 24hrs travelling. Good Restaurants, taxis, supermarket and ATM in short walking distance.

One tiny minus point for the door: things from the hallway were very audible in our room. But earplugs did the trick. And shoutout to the receptionist who removed a noisy drunk guest in the middle of the night.

Clean, bed was nice

The fact that rooms were not sound proof, we could hear what the couple in the next room were up to every night. Was not pleasant to hear since I was travelling with my son. I think couple rooms shouldn’t be next to a family room.

Enjoyed the location of the Hotel, well centered in the middle of town, there is a supermarket right next door as well as easy access to taxis during the day.

Not much to complain about, the price was reasonable and the facilities were in good order. Would have being nice to have a bidet in the toilet, but other than that, can't complain.

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, The room was very clean and comfortable, great location too with many restaurants nearby. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious too. I would definitely go back.
