I was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom fixtures were new and overall the room seemed recently refurbished. The AC worked well, which is often a problem at smaller motels in FL. The towels were also better than I expected. Internet was blazing fast. And the owners (I assume they were owners because they worked the office and housekeeping) were very nice. They even had free bananas when I checked in as well as a bag with a few snacks. I've never seen that in a motel. Bananas yes, a snack bag, no. It was also very quiet even though it's on a main street and it was bike week.

The lighting was a little bright but better bright than dim. The bedside and desk laps had very bright bulbs. But that's the only thing I didn't like.

The room looked like it had been done over not long ago. Everything was very clean and the room got spruced up daily. The TV was a large size and the choice of program’s exceptional.

The door to the room was sometimes a bear to open. It would stick closed and u would have to really bang it a few times to open. The desk chair was vinyl and it would flake off onto your cloths and the floor. Needed to be replaced.

It was close to where I needed to be, I was close enough to shopping areas or restaurants, it was easy to get in and out.

The sink being right in front of the commode. If you’re not careful, you’ll slam into the sink with your head when you get up from the commode

Location, was as expected. The room was clean, and attractive. For the price it was excellent. Check-in was easy.

Noisy outside. People talking at 12:30 at night. Then in the morning, men were yelling to each other.

The front office gave a welcome kit which was a unique touch to customer service as we were a bit hungry when we arrived. Rates were very convenient. Definitely impressed 👏

Upstairs neighbor was a but noisy due to tile flooring. Outside of building looked so odd as the GPS made us go through a back road. The front office also was a bit hot when we came in. But the inside of the room was perfect. Never judge a book by its cover. The inside was surprisingly pleasant and smelled great!

We just needed a nights stay, nothing fancy. Bed was comfortable and clean, pillows fluffy and clean, large-ish TV., coffee pot, microwave, blow dryer iron and ironing board, refrigerator and good sturdy door locks. Glad we travel with an extension cord as outlets were few. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

I was so excited to find this motel. It is just what I want: simple, clean, all the essentials, desk space and adequate plugs. Clean and calming. Absolute perfection at a great price.

The only thing would be a simple coffee maker to make coffee or tea.

I loved staying here indeed. The hotel was very close to downtown Tavares and I was able to walk around the city at dawn to take photos. Very comfortable room and great customer service. The ice machine was working perfectly and the parking was right in front of the room.

For being near the highway, it was quiet. It was close to the bowling alley. It had two queen beds instead of double beds.

The keys didn't work well, we needed the manager to open the door. The kids didn't like that it didn't have a pool.

Leesburg Bike Week 2023.. Love that we parked the bikes in front of our door. This is a great little hotel recently renovated. Accommodations were nice and owners and staff were as well. They even provided a goodie bag of crackers, cookies and granola bars.

Only thing missing here is a better place for larger groups to congregate.
