The room was spacious and very comfortable for my little family. The bedding and beds were comfy. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Close to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was just lovely! I liked that there is a mini kitchen so you can heat up food, make tea etc. Our parking was close to our room which was so convenient. The room was clean and they cleaned it while we were out. I would definitely stay here again.

No real issues. The bathroom door was a bit finicky. The kitchen sink is a bit awkward.

Forest Hall is a wonderful place to stay. It is conveniently located in Walmer which is central to so many places. It is safe and secure and our hosts are extremely helpful and friendly as are the staff. The garden is large and spacious and so restful to sit in with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. There are two pools which are perfect for a quick dip on a hot day. Breakfast is very tasty and all in all it is a home from home. Special mention to Cyril the grey cat who is the absolute friendliest cat I've ever met!

We loved the family room - it was very well equipped, clean and had a wonderful bathroom. The staff were friendly and allowed us a late check out. On the whole a very positive experience.

I do think the garden needs a little attention. Hedges needed trimming, grass needs to be fed, . But this would be finding fault on what i genuinely felt was a wonderful place to stay.

as always this is a great place to stay. Convenient to the airport and very comfortable rooms. The host is very caring and helpful. Just love the garden setting with beautiful trees.

There was an unfortunate event with a broken shower door which when reported to the host was dealt with immediately by the host. Which shows a caring approach to guests

The ambiance was great. Lovely and peaceful . Everybody was helpful and made you feel at home. It did not feel like a hotel or just a place to stay. It was spacious and quite. Lovely pool to swim and relax. The room was very nice . lovely bed. Love to stay there again

Wonderful relaxing garden with a swimming pool.Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the host. We were given another room by Mike without any problem and could even stay longer because our plane departed late. It is our seventh time at Forest Hall and we have never been disapointed.

What an incredible place. I am so pleased I found this property. Forest Hall is close to many beautiful restaurants, around the corner from the airport and ideal for business traveling as it’s based in the middle of Port Elizabeth. Thoroughly enjoyed the big spacious gardens and the patios each room has. Great WiFi and backup power !

Exceptional location, very quiet and calming - a good escape from Gauteng. Beautiful gardens in spite of the inhospitable weather. I liked the room layout and very spacious for a solo traveller. Ample parking and a 24/7 management presence made one feel secure.

Breakfast felt like boarding school and both occasions I had to help myself to the "cold" section as no one appeared to be serving from the kitchen although the staff were very busy preparing food. The "free"wifi was spotty, depending where in your room you were.

Forest Hall Guest House is located in a beautiful, large garden, very relaxing environment, ideal for kids as well (there are 2 swimming pools, a trampoline and plenty of space to play). The staff is very friendly and helpful - we were leaving early in the morning, before breakfast time and they prepared for us food to go.
