This place is an absolute dream to stay at - let's start with the owners JJ & Marie - so knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful with anything you need, including where to go to enhance your stay. The location is perfect - within a couple minutes walk of the promenade, the ocean backs up to the location, and within driving distance of the train to get anywhere (10 minutes) or to go to various places. And parking is a godsend as it is always available for free here!

There is nothing to dislike - love this place! I would come here again in a heartbeat and would recommend to stay here.

Short walk to Amicis. & promenade. Sea front visible from front gate of guest house. Ground floor room. Quiet area. Handy parking out front. Clean, warm. Comfy beds, quiet. En suite. Proper hair dryer, Breakfast cooked to order. Good cup of coffee. Lovely Home baked treats & cakes available.

Wifi code didn't work. Missed ice machine would normally have in a hotel & the mini fridge. Too embarassed to ask.

JJ and Marie are great hosts - very friendly and gave lots of information about the local attractions, restaurants etc. Breakfast was perfect- using local produce and some ingredients being homemade. Full Irish was great and my girlfriend was very happy with the Vegetarian breakfast. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Location perfect for being close to town centre and beach. Easy free parking outside.

Nothing.

Lovely stay at this B&B. Rooms were a little tired but standout was the welcome received by the owners, JJ and Marie, and the breakfast. We were made to feel right at home as soon as we walked across the door. The breakfast in the morning was probably the best that we have had in any of the hotels that we have ever stayed in and worth booking for that alone. If we ever get back to the area then I would be sure to book again.

Such a lovely property just behind the famous promenade section with all the restaurants, ocean views and sweet furnishings. Best part to the whole stay was the extremely gracious hospitality, from the delicious massive breakfast to the check in. JJ (the host) was so lovely and gave local tips and insights to checking out the nearby attractions, even drawing me a li’l map, and came and got me when the mists cleared up to show me where Scotland was visible from our street! Perfect little stay all up! Would be keen to return if in Portstewart again, highly recommend!

The property was clean and was in a great location. We were only a few minutes walk to the promenade. The room itself was large, with plenty of sheets, towels and robes. Breakfast was exceptional and offered a large variety of made to order choices. The in-house coffee shop was also a bonus. JJ was very nice and welcoming. He provided us with tips and suggestions about our daily activities, and even gave us a map.

Parking can be tight at times, but there is additional parking in the back.

We really enjoyed our stay. JJ was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended a couple of really nice restaurants - with Amici the star of the show. Cul-Erg is very well situated in beautiful Portstewart, on the beautiful Antrim Coast. This has to be one of the most stunning coastlines in the world. Portstewart is close to so many scenic and historical sites, including the Giants Causeway, a World Heritage site, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy, Carrick a Rede and its famous rope bridge, the Dark Hedges and delightful local towns and villages such as Ballycastle and Glenarm (to mention just a couple). The scenery along the coast is absolutely stunning, so a mecca for photographers.

Absolutely nothing!

We received a very warm welcome at Cul-Erg. Our room was large and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Everything you would need was supplied including divine toiletries in the en suite. The location is excellent, very near Portstewart Prom but tucked away in a quiet spot. The breakfast is all locally-sourced produce and was superb. Highly recommend.

Nothing!

JJ was so friendly and helpful. His wife cooked the most delicious breakfast each morning. The room was spacious and bright (but did have nice blackout curtains). There was a communal fridge available for use. We were able to walk to the fabulous Amici Restaurant and all along the Cliff Walk to the Portstewart Strand. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect!

This is a gem of a spot, it's beautifully kept, has the most amazing, thoughtful hosts and is so close to everything! And the breakfast, well no one could say they left hungry, plenty of top quality produce on offer and all served up beautifully. Thank you JJ & Marie for having us, we can't wait to come back🥰

Nothing, it's a stunning spot
