The hotel is getting a up dated look on the outside so they have friendly workers painting but it's hardly noticeable. But the inside of rooms have been up dated already with new stylish furniture and furnishings. As a thing I didn't like I really can't say painting was a problem because it's part of the new owners process to better the hotel for future stays and its only temporary.

We didn’t do the breakfast . I want to do a shout out to the housekeeper’s . These two ladies were very awesome they were on top of getting all of us clean towels when we asked for them also they would come by and collect our garbage . They were very friendly and very patient with all of us. I wish I would have got there names. The swimming pool was very nice and cooling property was very clean.

Wish there were towels in the pool area. Also need locks up on top of the doors so littles ones can’t go outside without an adult.

We enjoyed the Deluxe Bungalow during our stay over Thanksgiving. The room was warm and cozy. We were able to have a complete dinner in the room as it has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room table. We also enjoyed the fireplace and deck. The new owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were a little slow on responding to request, but always came through. I highly recommend this establishment.

They are in the process of upgrading the motel and we can't wait to see it when it's done.

Room Was quite large, very quiet and the view of the deciduous trees was beautiful. We appreciated microwave, refrigerator, good working room heater and the shower was terrific-hot water and hi pressure readily available. The location is very quiet with no road noise. Staff was very helpful.

There's nothing we didn't like. We'll be back again. Some people may not like the worn furniture, But the cleanliness and the fair rate made up for it.

The staff was. The room size (102) was BIG. A pleasant stay and will definitely go back when opportunity arises.

The only thing I would say is the driveway to get in and out, kinda tough to get onto the highway if you’re turning left but that’s overshadowed by all the good. Some comments say it’s an older property, well yes it is but it’s a great bang for the buck. The room was bigger than most motels I have stayed at. The carpet may have had a discoloration but it was clean and everything worked perfectly. If you can overlook a few imperfections and want a good quality room for a night or two this is the place. It’s not The Ritz but honestly how many places are unless you want to pay $250 a night or more.

This was our second time staying and we are making it an annual trip! We love the owners/operators and the service. The cottages are big with full kitchens and patios. The pool was great!

The hotel was wonderful. They had a beautiful and secure pool area. Our room was larger than most I've been in. The bathroom was huge. Their breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely go to this place again.

The room was clean. I was actually surprised because usually when you stop at these kinds of motels, it's not what their ads say. It usually says non smoking, but you can smell the camouflaged smoke in the room. That was not the case. We only stayed a few hours, but the bed was fairly comfortable and the room met our needs for the night.

I thought the room was a bit overpriced for what it was, especially booking through booking.com, which I use in order to get better deals. That was not the case this time.

This is not a posh motel. It is clean and comfortable. I love the fact that you park right in front of the room. The layout of the room was great, an alcove for the second bed. It has a retro feel, but the windows are new as it the bathroom. The view outside the window in back is bucolic. Exactly what I wanted in that area. Truly, all you need, and as I mentioned, clean.

We really liked the size & everything about the 1bdrm (which had 2 beds) bongalo! It was a perfect home away from home for us with only two flaws.....

HOWEVER; the water pressure in the shower was really low and since I got stuck on the pull out couch I have to honestly say it really sucked!! I ended up putting the couch back into a couch & sleeping on it 🙄 that way.
