The hotel is situated at 888m up from Vaduz. The number 21 bus takes you to the door every 30 minutes (and also goes on to Malbun which is a must do). All staff were friendly and helpful. The views from the restaurant are stunning. Our room was on first floor facing a piazza. Good bathroom with large shower, spacious room with plenty of storage space and a desk. Restaurant served good dinner but same menu both nights so ate at the one other restaurant in town which was also good. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice but no cooked items such as bacon and scrambled eggs. Coffee was excellent.

As this is our 21st hotel in several weeks we are getting used to whats not included. No air conditioning and it was exceptionally hot during our stay but luckily no evening sun as facing other direction. No fridge in room, no kettle. No centre lighting which made it very dark. Pillows - worst of trip, very uncomfortable as if they were made of soft Wimbledon tennis balls. Last but no least, why do all hotels provide two very heavy winter weight quilts in hot weather with no air conditioning. We always need to remove the quilt so we can just have a sheet to sleep. Just a sheet and light blanket would be easier for staff to clean and more suitable. None of these things ruined our stay and we would still recommend but hopefully at least new pillows can be supplied.

I liked the view from balcony (though it is fully visible only if to stand there, if you sit - balcony rails will partly hide it. But it is for me only as I am of a short hight. For those who are taller, it is not a problem). Very nice breakfast with fruits, vegetables, good coffee, cheeses, cakes, hamon, croissants, etc, great choice and good quality, spectacular view from the cafe. Very pleasant warm reception, felt truly welcomed. Location is great, 10-15 mins by car from Vaduz. Also, when we arrived in evening, we took a walk around, there were pretty houses, more views and flowers around.

The hotel is not located in the center of Vaduz, but I definitely recommend it because of the stunning view. There is a bus stop right opposite the hotel, so it’s easy to get to the city center. There’s also a store and an ATM nearby, which is very convenient. Our room was on the top floor with a beautiful view. The room was small but cozy. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the restaurant was magical. You can also have dinner there — the dinner was excellent. We were served by a very polite and kind gentleman, unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but he made a great impression.

Everything was wonderful, but since our room was in the attic, the bathroom space was a bit limited, so washing had to be done sitting down.

Beautiful location with the dining room looking over the valley. Room was clean with free water. Easily accessible by bus. Breakfast options included gluten free and dairy free.

Unfortunately the municipality threw a party in the room two floors below us. There was loud music, the bass was felt throughout the floors, and people were smoking outside of our windows until about 11pm. The hotel had no control over the noise, and were not alerted until the night before. I would have appreciated notice prior to us checking in, but the hotel staff were quick to commiserate when notified of my concerns. Would also appreciate having an additional larger towel in the bathroom.

We had a balcony overlooking the valley with a superb view. The buses ran regularly into the mountains higher up and into the town itself. The restaurant/breakfast room had the same view over the valley and staff at breakfast time ensured that tables were cleared to ensure the view was available whenever possible. There was a kettle available to make our own hot drinks, which was very useful. Staff were friendly.

The room was quite dark as there was no central light. This just made it feel a bit gloomy.

The view was spectacular from the room and balcony. The room was spacious and had two work places for computers with two chairs, which one would think it would be standard for a double room but is not always the case. The restaurant was excellent as well and of course had even a better view because its "winter garden" extended out further over the side of the mountain. Triesenberg's museum and post office are right next to the hotel and the parking garage is beneath them. Very convenient.

Nothing negative.

Located in the heart of Triesenberg with a Bus stop (Malbun, Vaduz, etc) right at the door. There is also a mini market at door. If you are driving, Vaduz is just 7/8 minutes away. Amazing view over both Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Room was quiet, clean with the necessary amenities. Shower heated fast. Diverse breakfast. Super kind staff. The free underground parking might not be noticeable at first sight. You just need to follow down the street, then turn left and left again to enter the parking. Undergound parking was very convenient due to the heavy snow. Elevator is available.

Our airplane was late, and we were able to contact the desk to find out how to get to our room as the check-in desk closes at 10 PM. They gave us a code to unlock a key box which had our room key in it. The staff were very friendly and spoke multiple languages. The primary reason we chose this hotel is "Location, Location, Location" to some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world. Once you walk out of the town of Triesenberg, you can literally hike anywhere with views of the mountains in Switzerland to the west. The food in their restaurant was very good and the menu is usually a fixed price selection of 3-4 meals. After a long hiking day with lots of vertical elevation (if you desire), you just want to relax at the hotel. We will go back again to Hotel/Restaurant Kulm and bring more friend’s next time.

In the hotter months (July, August), the rooms are hot in the afternoon if they are facing west (but what a view!). It does cool down at night but when you first enter your room open the door/window to let the room cool down. By morning you'll need a cover on the bed as it does cool down at night. The hotel didn't have fans (ventilators), so we purchased a really cheap one that fits in our suitcase and it made a huge difference. We'll need it for our next loction with temps in the upper 90's.

Most stunning views! Exceptional dining for dinner and free wide spread options breakfast. Accommodated all food allergies! The staff and all around the service is fantastic! I would recommend to anyone with a car to stay there, your car is parked in a garage below the building.

Make sure to get there especially on a rainy day in daytime, the winding mountain road can be challenging, it’s more of a suggestion than a dislike. (It wasn’t a problem for us but we do drive a lot on mountain roads)

The village is halfway up the mountain, overlooking the Rhine valley and the Swiss Alps opposite. Thus, the view is spectacular. The hotel is nice, the staff were helpful and responsive. Our room was as described, on the upper floor. Prior to arrival we received an email explaining that the room had dormer ceilings on one side, and required using stairs for access. This was appreciated. Breakfast was fine. The dining room and terrace overlook the valley, and the view is great. The area is perfect for alpine hiking and trekking.

The elevator does not go to the top floor. Thus, it's necessary to climb the stairs to reach the top floor rooms. This was not a problem for us. However, for people with mobility issues it might be difficult. As we mentioned, management sent a prior email specifying this, so it would be possible to make changes if necessary.
