Location was great for our needs. Breakfast offered options, which is always good, and they kept the breakfast room clean and well-furnished. They offered the option of housekeeping or not at registration, which I liked since I want to support less water demand. The room was large and with windows and black-out curtains, as well as clean and adequately supplied.

The location was great. We like being near the bike trail. There were plenty of good restaurants and stores near by. It was easy to get in an out of town. Small hotel so it felt personal. Liked the view of the lake.

The breakfast was just okay. The sausage patties were pale and tasteless and the eggs were nothing to brag about. Enjoyed the bananas, cereal bar, juices, yogurt, muffins.

The King room has a big space for my son to play and move around. We were very relaxed and comfortable in the hotel. Location was also great if you like to run/walk due to all the trails.

When we showed up at 4, our room was not ready. They gave us another room and it was still dirty. We got into our room late but the front office was very helpful the whole time.

This was my family’s second time staying here and we think this is the best hotel for its price. Only 4 minutes away from a nice beach. 10 minutes away from cannery row and the aquarium. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was smooth. Next time I come to Monterey I’ll be booking here FOR SURE!!

There was a range of breakfast options, and the dining area is well laid out. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I still cannot get used to eating breakfast on disposable plastic plates with plastic cutlery.

For fellow breakfast lovers, their breakfast bar included: waffle-making station, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, bread, bagels, a toaster, tiny muffins, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate (perhaps more things that I've forgotten). The room was spacious and comfortable. The location isn't amazing (view of a highway, which was not audible from our room), but just fine if you have a car.

The tap water felt kind of slimy (over-softened?). In the King room, the door to the bathroom is a sliding door that, in our case, was quite squeaky/noisy. Otherwise great!

It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. I had never seen my grandkids excited about eating breakfast every morning reakfast.

The parking was very limited.

The hotel was spotless, offered a great price, and had a nice breakfast. Plus, the free parking was a great bonus. Definitely the best deal in the area—highly recommend!

Location is good and breakfast is decent

My room got so call lake view but blocked by the trees and bushes. It looks like a pond in stead of lake.

Location was not close to the sites, the bed was a FULL and not a queen so not great for a family of 4
