We were greeted by one of the family owners Daniela. In perfect English she welcomed us and told us all about the area, restaurants etc. We asked for advise on the trips we wanted to do. Because she is local she was able to team us up with a very well respected guide for our early morning forest walk. She also booked the transport etc for the night walk. Because we were leaving early for the forest walk we would miss breakfast so Daniela made us up sandwiches, fruit, juice etc to take with us. It was so thoughtful and delicious. Thank you

There’s nothing to not like. For us it was perfect. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Great size room. Home made breakfast. Tours booked. You wouldn’t get any better in a five star expensive hotel.

This is a wonderful and serene location in Monteverde. It is like 10 minutes by walk or 2 minutes by drive from town. The location is quiet and the rooms are large, well-equipped with a coffee maker and refrigerator , and clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept like SOMEONE WITHOUT A BABY. :D The location provides ample parking space if you are driving to Monteverde. Daniela, Cesar, and team (EXTREMELY HOSPITABLE) were very helpful in answering any questions (before/during/after). Always willing to help with any questions and helped with transport and activities. Three restaurants are within 100 meters and shops nearby. Breakfast (so good that I ate it before taking photos of it) is absolutely delicious and for the day that I would be out in the morning, they prepared me a breakfast sandwich and items to-go. Certainly recommend this location and would suggest staying here if you want an amazing place to start your Monteverde adventure! muchas gracias y pura vida! :D

Natüra Hotel Monteverde Is a lovely and charming hotel. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully landscaped, with a bubbling brook and hummingbirds visiting the many flowers. The bathroom is clean as can be, large and beautifully tiled. Cesar and Daniella are extraordinary owners. They both went out of their way to please us, and accommodated the special needs of this elderly couple. They made our stay doubly delightful. The included Breakfast was made to order every day, and began with a delicious fruit plate. Eggs, rice, beans, toast, bacon and delicious home-made jam were available every morning. Nothing at all! Truly, we liked everything.

Great size rooms, very clean. Great breakfast that also accommodated for dairy intolerance. Very helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of information on arrival of activities, restaurants and shops. This also meant that I got to see Monteverde Reserve for a few hours in the afternoon before it closed for the whole of the next day, without having to extend my stay at Monteverde. Curichanca is also very near and is worth a visit.

Just a minor suggestion for during the rainy season when the temperature is a bit cooler to consider a combo fan and heater. Blankets were available so no issue during the stay.

The room was very modern, spacious and clean. The location is amazing and immersed in the cloud forest. It’s a short drive into town which we liked as it meant the location was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was really tasty, especially the French Toast!

We may have got unlucky but the shower wasn’t hot. It was more hot at times with cold streams. Also, we were 8mins past checkout but almost done and received a knock on our door to say we were late. Most hotels we’ve stayed in offer a slight grace period and we didn’t think 8mins over would be an issue.

We stayed at Hotel Natura for 2 nights and Daniela and Cesar were the most amazing hosts. The hotel room was extremely clean and with great additions such as a sofa, coffee making facilities and a fridge. The breakfasts were some of the best we had during our stay, with the attention to detail 10/10- definitely try the French toast! Cesar and Daniele went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and booked all our activities for us. The location is great, just a 10/15 minute walk from the main centre (although uphill on the way back!). There are restaurants and shops a 2 minute away. Excellent value for money too! Would definitely stay here and again and recommend anyone to stay here

Natura Hotel Monteverde is family run business. The owners of the hotel are really helpful and take care of each guest. The contact with the owner was excellent starting prior arrival to the hotel. We received recommendations related to place worth visit and support to organize transport to Monteverde cloud forest. The room in the hotel was really specious and comfortable. The bathroom is modern and clean. There are three options on the breakfast. The location of the hotel is convenient, especially when you arrive by shuttle bus: there is around 15 minute walk to the center of Santa Elena. However if you need a restaurants or supermarket, they are just 100 m away from the hotel.

Pre-arrival the team at Natura were really helpful organising our transport from La Fortuna. We were warmly greeted on arrival, given a map with a bunch of local recommendations and were checked into our room. The hotel booked us onto an activity that afternoon which was really convenient, and they were able to arrange a guide for us in Monteverde the next morning and the required return transport for that. They couldn't be more helpful! The room itself is super modern and had a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a kitchen style sink. The bathroom was really nice with a huge shower. It's a 10-15 minute walk into Santa Elena which we did for 2 nights. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered ample tea/coffee/juice.

The road noise is a little distracting, but even as a light sleeper I was able to get a good nights sleep.

Super friendly and helpful staff with advices and even map provided at check in, little family run, nice new hotel. Well equipped with the toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner - not in small versions). Based on former comments, we saw improvement, e.g. there is already hairdrier and a rack and hanger for clothes, which shows commitment and heart. Breakfast was pre-agreed the day before. Parking is right by the door. In the beautiful garden.

There is no AC, which is ok in Monteverde, though a moscito net on the window would be a nice addition to let some fresh night breeze in without the bugs, hence usage of repellent is crutial while sleeping. It is on the main road, which makes it a bit noisy, but well located. Though please note that there are restaurants for lunch and dinner nearby, the center is not in walking distance beause of the elevation differences. Netflix was a good addition, however the internet was pretty slow, hence even the streaming froze from time to time. Without closed curtains there is not much privacy due to the close parking - separate curtain racks for the two curtains would make it easier to manage.

Exceeded our expectations! Everything was perfect - a very lovely family run hotel. Communicated early with us, they were helpful in every aspect helping us get a trip to the cloud forest set up. Easy walk to/from town & right down the hill from a couple restaurants. WONDERFUL made to order breakfast with great coffee. Room was huge with nice shower. Located among nature with a covered deck for sitting outside. Loved it!
