The staff was great, the room was clean, the bathroom too was clean. The breakfast was absolutely satisfying. Plenty of decent pubs and restaurants within a fair walking distance. Massive win that even after returning to the hotel around 2 at night, it was absolutely no problem to request a late checkout for the next day, despite it being so late at night already. I can most definitely recommend this place. Sidenote; when you first arrive at the hotel, you might think that, based on the exterior, it might not be really thát good. Well, please don't let that influence your choice too much, we were absolutely blown away by how decent this place is.

We struggled figuring out the aircon/heating in the room. That was literally the only thing. Didn't feel like going to the reception for that as it was already very late at night, and we were simply very tired. I'm sure staff would be more than willing to help out with that!

It was very cosy and felt very homely. The staff were lovely and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. We felt very safe and happy here and the beds were very comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay in such an authentic hotel and will definitely be back!

Due to the bundling being quite old the lift was very small so we struggled to fit two people and our bags into the lift but we could have gone separately so it wasn’t a big issue.

Stayed for a conference. It's very well located next to the Köln/Deutz station from where you can catch connections into the city. Perfect location for a business trip. Staff was super welcoming and helpful. Great variety at the breakfast buffet (for the type of price range). Also suitable with for "Special dietary needs" (plus) Little gym available (big plus) The rooms were well kept but nothing special. Exactly what you expect. Will keep the hotel in mind for future trips to Colone

The hotel isn't the most luxurious , but they really have understand what counts ( don't get me wrong , it has all you need and rooms are nice ) - No isn't an option at the staff - would I stay there again ? Parking is tight in the garage and can only accommodate 5 or 6 cars.

The breakfast was a nice buffet. The staff is smiling, lovely, and helpful. The location is right across the main station when you arrive from the airport. It is right in the center of the city near the Rhein. The hotel seems historic and traditional which I like.

There are not many negative things I can say about the hotel. Overall my experience was positive.

The free parking in front of hotel (on street) is not solely for hotel staying customers hence is not guaranteed and can mean you need to park further up or down the road though at reasonable price.

Brilliant location right opposite the cathedral with a gorgeous walk over the bridges. Tram stop literally on the doorstep. Super friendly and helpful team, we would definitely stay there again and will be recommending to friends!

Be aware there’s no bar but we had a few games and night cap in the room as there was a sofa and table.

Loved my stay at this hotel, situated less than 5min walk from Cologne Messe station. Room was quiet as I requested, bed was comfortable, and the view from balcony was amazing. Internet was also super fast.

The hotel is located on the other side of the Rhine and not in downtown Cologne. This doesn't really matter because a tram stop is just a minute walk away from the hotel entrance. Three different tram lines take you to the relevant places in the city every 5-10 minutes. If you prefer walking, you could walk across Deutzer bridge or the much busier Hohenzollern bridge. The hotel's neighborhood itself is fairly lively as well and seemingly a little more original than the downtown. There's pubs, grocery stores and more within walking distance. If breakfast is your thing, I recommend you take it at the hotel. As of June 2022, we were charged 12,50€ per person. We received an entire, large thermos of coffee at our table and had a fresh continental buffet to choose from. Juices, different types of water, milk for different types of cereal. Different breads, croissants, ham, cheese, marmalade, fresh fruit, etc. The lady who took care of us during breakfast was very friendly and quick in being helpful. The bed in our room was really comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly. The bathroom was nice and clean, plenty fresh towels and premium soap were provided. I was surprised that the room was dead quiet when we closed the window. Our room faced a busy street, but we barely noticed that.

Our room was quite small, but that was fine for us because we're neither very tall nor big. I see how overweight or very tall people might find the shower in our room rather uncomfortable. Our fridge did not work, which bothered me a little because I like to wake up and drink cold water. Since we stayed over a holiday, I did not even bother contacting management about it.
