Perfect resort to relax and explore the nearby temples, waterfalls and beaches with a rented scooter. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing pool to cool off and nice nearby restaurants.

Since the rooms are built of wood and quite thin walls, you can hear your neighbours very clearly. Sometimes we felt that the neighbour is in our room. Thus we didnt feel much privacy while staying in the room.

The pool/common area was very quaint, a perfect place to relax. The restaurant was delicious.

There were some sort of seeds on my bed, that kept reappearing every 10-15 mins. We couldn’t get the ac to turn on and the electricity went out during the night, so the fan also wouldn’t work. It made for a sweaty sleep.

we stayed in a lovely hut which was set in lovely spacious grounds. The staff were extremely helpful in organising activities and drivers for us during our five day stay. The Margaritas were the best I’ve had anywhere in Bali. Thank you to all the staff at Aashaya Jasri Resort for making our stay so enjoyable

I was just a little disappointed that I couldn’t swim in the sea here. It was just a small thing as I love a morning dip in the sea. we did have an enjoyable afternoon at Virgin beach which is only a short drive away.

Aashaya Jasri Resort was an absolute delight from start to finish of our three week holiday.: The boutique accommodation was typically Balinese, set in beautiful gardens with frangipani trees, bougainvillea, palms and other lush vegetation. The place exudes serenity, and at night you can just hear the crashing of the waves on the shore. Our twin room was clean and attractive, with all the essential facilities - fan, fridge, safe, aircon, clothes hanging area - including a decent sized bathroom with a large shower (plenty of hot water), and fresh towels every day. The staff were exceptional: friendly and discreet in equal measure, they simply couldn’t do enough for you – and always with a smile. The manager Wayan had a lovely, gentle manner and was particularly helpful, with information on the region and local customs etc. but Kartun, Elo and all the other staff were lovely too without exception. As with the gardens, the pool was well maintained, staff quietly going about their business. Coming from UK, I really enjoyed my daily swims in warm water and lounging by the pool, reading and listening to birdsong. The sea was a bit too wild, and the rocks and black sands due to Mt Agung, the volcano 25km away, wouldn’t have made it as appealing anyway, but 10 minute’s taxi ride away there is a white sand beach (Virgin beach) with clear blue waters. We didn’t want to escape the tranquility much but although Jasri isn’t an area you’d find much in the guide books for Bali, it was easy and inexpensive to get taxis to beautiful Central Bali and the arty but busy town of Ubud, or a ferry to Nusa Penida Island. We ate in the covered open air restaurant most of the time as the food was delicious (including wine and cocktails!). There are also other places to eat nearby, and a pleasant bar called Warung Biker, but if R&R is your main objective and a wonderfully friendly community, rather than seeking lots of activity, you honestly couldn’t do much better than this resort.

We stayed in a teak house and the room was lovely and clean. Really enjoyed our stay. I was worried we were going to hear other guests through the thin walls but we didn't hear any noise. The breakfast was the best we had in Bali. There were lots of options even for those who prefer sweet breakfast like me - e.g. waffles, pancakes, porridge, yoghurt, etc. The staff were all friendly and respectful. The hotel area was beautiful, ideal for relaxing. The water in the hotel is safe to drink so we didn't have to buy water for cleaning our teeth. I still bought water for drinking just to be safe. There is also a lovely rice field walk nearby. Highly recommend this hotel and would come back.

I messaged the hotel to arrange the transport but they never responded to me so I had to arrange it with somebody else. Also, there was a confusion during our check in as they couldn't find my payment. I paid it about a month in advance. This was sorted quite quick though. The resort is a few meters from the beach but the beach is not the prettiest and it was dirty around there unfortunately. You can eat at the hotel or there is 1 restaurant on the beach but if you want to try something cheaper and more local you have to walk around 2 km as there is nothing close by the hotel.

Every room is delightful. The pool and grounds are lovingly maintained and charming at every turn. Hearing the ocean waves crash was divine! We extended our stay to enjoy the peace and quiet!

This is an area to tuck away from the busyness of cities in Bali. To be doted on by skilled and caring staff. The neighborhood isn’t the type for strolling, though it is safe, like much of Bali it is touched by poverty and unkempt. You can hear motorbikes as per usual for Bali, but only during the daytime.

We loved our stay, a perfect hideaway within a Balinese community. Beautiful complex, amazing team taking care of anything needed from the maintenance and grounds team to the front of house. True hospitality from everyone, Wayan was a star, as were all the teams. Breakfast was great the biggest choice we have had. We stayed in the traditional house and had a triple room, very clean and the team came and checked rooms daily for anything we needed. We were sad to leave! Lots of investment is taking place to make it even more beautiful. If we ever go back we will definitely stay there again.

We didn’t plan to stay longer!

The location was very nice next to the sea. Resort gardens and lawns nicely set out. Meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Room very good fan and air conditioning good. Swimming pool very nice towels provided. Filtered water piped through resort tap water safe to drink. Staff were wonderful could not help you enough. would not hesitate to stay again.

A little away from mainstream shopping areas taxi service organised by resort very good. Barking dogs would often set up for short periods at night.

Great location, lovely pool with plenty of loungers. Great tasty food. Probably the best we've had in Bali. The property had a water filter so you could drink from the tap. Top marks for that. Surprisingly we were the only guests & were treated like Royalty. Straight across the road from the beach. We walked around the beachside & this would have been the nicest resort. The local people seemed to be making an effort to clean up the rubbish each day. If we go back to Jasri we would definitely stay here again

Wifi was a little patchy but it was ok
