This hotel is relatively small compared to some of the major hotels in the US. This made it the ideal place to stay for the week I was there. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating especially the reception staff, Chaz, Erin, Christa and Krista. The hotel was very clean, our room was plenty big enough and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom did not have a bath but had very nice shower and the Dove soaps, shampoos & body lotions were perfect. There are no wardrobes in the rooms but there are plenty of hangers and wall hooks. There is also no coffee and tea making facilities in the room but these are available in the reception area 24 hours a day. I prefer this as there is no need to wash cups and no chance of running out of various items. The breakfast was adequate, I am not a breakfast person so fresh fruit, cereals, fruit juice etc is perfect. For our party the location was very good, we were visiting family for a wedding in Holland, there is a petrol station very nearby which had a small 7 eleven shop, although there is also a good selection of snacks and drinks in the reception area for purchase. The car park was more than ample and on occasions had large trucks parked in it but there was still plenty of space. The hotel has a gym, which some of our party used, it also has a small pool which again was used by some of our party. I enjoyed my stay here and will certainly use it again and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

The pool was too small for any real swimming.

The location was good, but right on the highway, walls were paper thin. The lady at the front desk was over the top nice. She couldn't be sweeter. The guy upon check in was just quiet.

It was loud in the room due to the traffic, but nothing can really be done. The floor was not very clean, but everything else was. Breakfast was not the best, the warm sandwich and wrap was not good at all. I stuck to cereal. Liked the options of juice.

The team members who checked me in and then out, were very friendly and helpful. Even though I had missed the bulk of the breakfast time frame and all the fresh food was eaten, the team member who was working was kind enough to grab me a couple of items from the packaged food items - without me having to ask, she just offered them to me.

I know it's a new location but the sooner the surrounding area is developed, the better. It's just not very appealing.

I would like to acknowledge the importance of having a welcoming and helpful staff. They were amazing, really made us feel welcomed and valued. Thank you Chaz who did the night shift and a wonderful lady that was there on Sunday morning. Just wonderful people! Location was amazing for us because we were right in middle of Grand Rapids and Holland. Really nice location if you wan to visit both places.

The room was comfortable, clean, staff was phenomenal, breakfast was a nice selection.

I unfortunately didn't read the amenities available, so to save money I brought food that requires a microwave. There wasn't one in the room, coffee and microwave are available to you but you have to go out to the main area. I wasn't even sure, I was supposed to use it. So I didn't. Getting into the hotel from the highway was really rough, GPS tells you to make a u turn at the light and take the first right to reach your destination. Those directions put you back on the highway, it took me a bit to figure out how to get there because it's not obvious, unless you know the area as the hotel sits back off the road. None of these are issues to complain about, our stay was wonderful. Just maybe informative to other travelers.

The hotel has a modern appeal. No carpet in the rooms which I loved!! I also thought the auto lights in the bathroom were excellent. The bed was comfortable. The thermostat was easy to adjust to a comfortable temperature. The shower and water pressure were excellent. The breakfast was better than your normal continental breakfast offered at most hotels and the coffee was excellent.

If I had one comment for improvement it would be the floors needing mopped. We had to wipe up some water on the floor and the cloth used was pretty dirty for the small amount of water we wiped up.

Waited to check in at front desk 10 minutes no one was around. Room very small . Had asked for extra towels before we arrived. They were not there I had to call for some. Pool was nasty looking did not go in it . smelled so strong of chlorine. Barely any shampoo in bottlle for 4 people ran out, had to ask for another. Nothing around hotel area to do. Hotel more for construction workers not a family.

Breakfast selection was good. We liked the fact that they had vegetarian omelettes. The fresh coffee was a bonus. We also appreciated that the manager allowed us to use the microwave in the the breakfast area to heat up leftovers for dinner. The location was a bit out of the way from entertainment and dining, but that was only a minor inconvenience.

We can't think of anything to complain about.

It was new and clean. The breakfast was exceptional! It offered a large selection of breakfast options.

We insisted on changing rooms because the first room we checked into had a terrible sewer odor. The man at the front desk seemed flustered and told us to run water through all the drains. We were eventually assigned to a different room with no odor.

Close to the highway and locations I needed. On sight parking. Pleasant staff. Great bed and bathroom. I liked the Dove hygiene products. Quiet. Clean, streamlined and modern in appearance. I liked the flooring instead of carpet in the room.

Wheels on the desk chair. I almost fell twice. Room clock was confusing. I couldn't correct the time. If I was staying for more than 1 or 2 nights, I wouldn't like the lack of closets or closed drawers to hide my clothes.
