The modern look and room layout was nice. We ate dinner and breakfast there and it was good. It was clean. It was only one block from shops/restaurants, but we didn't go to any. We did go to the very nice Memorial Day parade.

We were on 3rd floor and a wedding party was happening on the 5th floor. Right as we were going to bed a little before 10pm on a Sunday night there was loud music and the guests hollering, could hear it all the way in our room. If not for that it would have been nice and quiet. There was no loud/fan etc to put on. The big stark bathroom should have a bench or something to lay your clothes and things on or sit down. It was very bright early in the morning.

Anna at the front desk was exceptional. She made sure my pumpkin spice coffee was perfect, offered a complimentary umbrella so we could go to the farmer's market, and hung onto our luggage after we checked out so we could do some last minute shopping.

The three florescent lights above one of the beds were out as well as one hanging bulb over one of the beds making it very dark. Also, the shampoo holder on the wall fell off the wall. It looked like it had glued on before our stay. We were surprised by the lack of privacy between the main room and the shower (no privacy).

I had breakfast off-site each morning. The hotel's breakfast offerings seemed pretty meager and so I chose to experience more of the local color of Holland, MI for breakfast. All within a 2-3 minute walk of the hotel.

I suppose the only real disappointment was the cost. I stayed here last year at approximately the same time of year (mid July) and the room prices have skyrocketed. Tulyp is certainly a $300/night hotel, I don't think it's a $480/night hotel. If it were located anywhere else in Holland, it would be extremely overpriced, in my opinion. Because of the great location, and the overall ambiance and "nice-ness" of the property, it's only somewhat overpriced. Especially since a year ago rates were about 30% less.

Great safe, convenient downtown location. Very nice public areas that included a nice lobby bar with happy hour drinks and apps. Starbucks coffee and cooked to order breakfast was also available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel elevators to rooms are room key secured which was nice.

Ultra modern decor which was ok, just hallways and rooms were very, very dark. Our room configuration was very strange. 2 queen beds not side by side but back to back with walkway between the backs of headboards. Foot of beds touched the walls and there was a TV on the wall of each bed. Just weird. The sink was also right as you came in the door. We would stay there again though, just would book king bed type room next time.

Fabulous decor and room set up. Shower was really great! Coffee pot and fixing was nice, sorta hard to figure out but, super simple. Lighting in bath and shower area took a bit of time to get acclimated to but was nice.

1. Place TP in the commode area vs. outside of the area. 2. Provide shower mat vs. using what appeared to be a towel. 3. Larger soap at sink or, different soap dish as it sticks to the dish and hard to remove.

Beds and pillows were the best, our sleep was wonderful. Staff at front desk was exceptionally, very friendly. Your happy hour is very nice, as is your lobby. Great to have Starbucks on site and open at 6 am. Mario sets an excellent tone, he is friendly and sets a great example.

I do not think that your guests know that behind your hotel there is a play ground and a path down to the lake, and a lovely walking trail. Please become familiar with this jewel and educate your visitors.

Layout of rooms was not conducive for families and multiple guests. Open bathroom was inconvenient. Bed side tables were low to the floor. Initial rooms were not together and one room had beds laid out back to back (very odd). Did request rooms closer to together and staff was very accomodating.

We have have stayed at this property several times while visiting Holland when it was called City Flats. Now that it is run by Hilton it has maintained the same excellent quality. Friendly staff, beautiful facility and convenient location.

Did not have the breakfast. Location was great. Was expecting more from the pics on site.

Crazy how you can be charged 600 and need to pay a dollar for a water.

Location, couple minutes waking to the main street in downtown Holland. Exceptional staff at the hotel!!

Weird lighting arrangement in the room, can not just light up for example bathroom if you need to visit in the middle of the night or just night stand light
