Room was nice. Bed comfortable. Very nice breakfast

I was double charged for the pet fee. I called the hotel on the day of departure and was assured that I would see a credit in 5 days or so. One week later, I again called the hotel directly as the extra pet fee had not been credited to my CC. I was again assured that this would be resolved and that I would receive an email within 1-2 hours of the resolution of this discrepancy. No email, no credit on my credit card received. I have opened a dispute with the hotel via credit card now.

The cleanliness and quality of the stay was most enjoyable. Some of the amenities included free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a swimming pool. The room was large and equipped with not only a mini fridge but also a microwave. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on at a hotel. The whole experience felt luxurious without the expensive price of a luxury stay. This location has a new patron every time I come to the Saugatuck area. Also they are pet friendly. There is a small pet fee of 35$ per day but it was very reasonable. Hopefully they add a dog park but if not that's okay because 6-8 minutes away is a dog park.

When my husband asked for a second blanket, they just handed him what looked like a sheet. For breakfast, he got there around 830am (mind you, it's still about a half hour to an hour left of breakfast) and he Said it was slim pickin' so probably try to get breakfast right at 6am.

The hotel is not far from town or the highway. Decent sized room.

They are in the midst of remodeling the rooms so there was a lot going on during the day. Most of the furniture was brand new but the bathroom was not updated ( rusty ceiling rails, leaky shower head, fan didn’t work well) Also the breakfast had not much variety and was the same everyday.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed here. The staff is friendly. My husband enjoyed breakfast. We have food allergies so we bring a lot of food. The refrigerator is good sized. We enjoyed the pool.

Queen bed and pillows were too soft. We got locked out of our room at 10:17 on the day we were checking out. Luckily, we had someone in the room to let us in. Check out was at 11.

This hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable with perfect location to see everything in the area via a short drive or in some cases just walking. They had a complete expanded breakfast buffet with many other restaurant choices nearby. The view from the room was a wooded area and quiet enough to leave the window open to your private nature area.

I really don't have any complaints as it was a perfect fit for me. I would sure like to see a microwave in all the rooms. If you book a deluxe there is a microwave or you can use the one in the kitchen area on the first floor.

Friendly staff, very clean, also quiet

We were very disappointed because the pool and hot tub were not heated. They were ice cold which was such a disappointment. We informed management but they didn’t seem to be bothered to try and fix. That was a huge reason we stayed there-for the pool for gkids. If heater didn’t work should have put that online so we’d know or stay somewhere else

The front desk staff was very courteous, and helpful in getting us information on the area. The entire facility was very clean and well kept. I had read some older reviews critical of this hotel, and want people to know that it is an excellent place to stay. The location is great -- close to Saugatuck, but away from all of the crowds and busyness. It is clean, quiet, and comfortable. We definitely will stay here if we are in the area again. The breakfast was pretty much the same as all of the others on this trip, but really fine.

The staff was friendly and always available to help. Family staff. They work hard to make a great stay for all. Rooms are very roomy and clean! Pool and Jacuzzi were awesome and clean and always had towels. And noone yelling at you to leave the minute it closes. Hot breakfast always same items 😔 but can't complain OH! Also their TV channels are tremendous!! Lots to watch at night.

Very small breakfast area. Only like 5-6 small tables. Had to wait or eat in the room. But not so bad for me.

Very clean, super comfortable bed and charming alpine layout with the second floor overlooking the first and a few nice gathering spaces tucked into it. A property this size rarely has an indoor pool so was pleasantly surprised. The owner/staff were all very helpful (offered to carry bags to 2nd floor if needed!) found me some plates so I could eat bday cake with daughter. Really personable without being at all intrusive. Gréât expérience!! Varied hot snd cold breakfast options - hard to find at this price point!

My adult daughter was hoping to swimming but the water temp was a bit cold for her (she’s a swimmer so can tolerate cooler than normal temps) Not a big deal for her but might have been for little ones so maybe check ahead. Probably just trying to conserve energy- sustainable » when off-season snd not a full occupancy yet. The decor might not be what many expect in a newer property, but frankly we found that the vintage look and feel of the gathering spaces contributed to the comfortable, homey atmosphere which is charming in a way you don’t often experience. Not cookie-cutter harsh modernist so I guess that’s a plus not a negative unless you prefer a stark very modern look.

Terrific Staff and a Great Value for Saugatuck. Very clean rooms, free parking, a decent (included) but not extensive breakfast, and the room was well equipped with a mini fridge. Not walking distance to downtown Saugatuck, but only a 5-minute drive. So, for the price, you can't beat it! There is a pool but we didn't use it.
