I loved that the staff was so friendly and the hotel was kept very clean. I was skeptical as I usually only reserve 3.5 star hotels or higher for trips like this. It exceeded my expectations certainly.

I didn't like there was no soap in the bathroom for the sink. I also didn't like the coffee and cups were in the bathroom, but literally that's it. Everything else was very nice. Although having updated outlets on the lamps and closer to seating and sleeping areas would also be very beneficial.

Excellent location. Room was clean. Staff very accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Dollar General practically right next door for what you forgot or didn’t bring enough of.

For someone older like me the spa tub was a bit hard to get out of. The shower is in the spa tub. Bathroom not quite bright enough but I liked that it had the toilet paper holders where you could reach them. Some places put it behind you. It also had towel racks for your used and fresh towels. Some places don’t!

It’s convenient to get to.

The lighting, above the sink, in the Bathroom is way too dim. There were no outlets next to the beds to plug in a phone cord or anything else. Another lamp, like the one on the desk would have remedied that. And, the toilet seat doesn’t fit the bowl. These are not serious issues to you, maybe, but it’s the little details that make a difference. Finally, I was unable to get the veterans discount because I didn’t call the property, directly. So, the price was a little higher than we can afford. But, by check-in it was too late to change. That’s what I was told by the desk clerk.

The facility was clean, but the bathroom (especially the tub/shower) need to be updated. Every employee we encountered was very pleasant. The breakfast was fine, and ending breakfast at 9:30 was not a problem for us, but I think that for most families with small children, breakfast should be extended til 10:00-10:30. The pool was open from 6:30 a.m. until 11:00 pm, so plenty of time to use the pool!

I believe the facility should be more secure. I think guests should have to use a key card for entry into the building.

Earlier check in, first floor room near lobby for access of mobility scooter, free breakfast was good, staff friendly, room comfortable, location proximate to downtown Saugatuck was convenient. We were very pleased.

No complaints.

Everything was very clean. The family that ran the place was very nice. Their hot tub was great.

Wifi service was pretty weak. We had trouble with our connection throughout.

The room was clean and it was in a quiet location if that is what you are looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband got really sick the second day and we had to stay an extra 2 days because he was unable to travel. The staff extended our stay and we only had to change rooms the last night.

It was a little drive from most of the tourist spots so you couldn't walk anywhere. The breakfast had a reasonable amount of options but the hot breakfast items were not too good. Though they were about the norm for most hotel chains. The only thing saw in my stay that was not clean was the in room coffee pot but I looked inside it, tried to flush it out with water and gave up and just went down to the lobby to get coffee so it was not a real problem.

I liked that the staff was attentive and friendly and they had everything you Needed to accommodate your stay

The place is in dire need of an Upgrade for today's standards

Same poor breakfast each morning. Lousy scrambled eggs. Only fruit was apples no bananas. No danish. No gluten-free cereals.- Cheerios is all you need.

Hot tub and pool were warm and clean. Facility was clean. As we were leaving one of the women came out and brought my husband his glasses he forgot so that was greatly appreciated! Breakfast was good for continental with sausage and eggs.
