I had an excellent stay at the Avid Hotel in Vaughan. The property is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The guest rooms are thoughtfully designed, featuring convenient amenities such as power sockets with USB ports for easy device charging. The complimentary breakfast was a standout, offering a well-rounded selection: • Hot items including eggs, turkey sausage or crumble bacon • Cold options such as milk, almond milk, small Greek yogurt cups, muffins, toast, oatmeal with raisins and nuts, and a variety of cereals

The room is a bit small with not too much room between the end of bed and desk

This hotel was small but very clean and comfortable. The entire hotel was extremely modern and clean, the room was small but worked for my family of four. The bathroom in our room had amazing products that I have never used at a hotel before. They had “Dove” products for all bathroom supplies which was really nice to have. I did not need to use what I brought and wasn’t worried about using the hotel bathroom products. The bed, pillows and blankets were all exceptionally comfortable and clean, we all slept very well. The pool was very nice and clean as well. We were also impressed with the breakfast in the morning. A very basic breakfast with some warm options, but very fresh fruits and breads.

The only complaint I have is that we asked for a crib to be in the room prior to our arrival. The crib was not in our room once we arrived. When they did bring the crib to our room, it did not come with any crib sheets. The crib rails were also dirty and we needed to wipe the crib down. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay.

The property’s location provided easy access to all major highways and the airport. The room I had was spacious with comfortable beds. I think it may have been the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. The breakfast was delicious, had great variety. The staff were amazing… friendly, knowledgeable, very efficient.

I found that the lobby/common area was very oddly laid out, it didn’t allow for good traffic flow, resulting in a very crowded feeling. While everything was clean and aesthetically pleasing, there was very little sound absorbing material, so I found it quite noisy. The breakfast set up could have been better. All of the major stations were on the same counter (toasters, oatmeal prep., hot food, microwave, utensils etc.), which resulted in major crowding and honestly, a little claustrophobia.

The fact that it is a new build/facilities was nice. The staff was great at reception and we didn’t wait at all for the check/in or check/out. The bed was comfortable. The gym was small but had everything needed for about any kind of workout. We were overall satisfied with our stay and would stay again for a night if we needed to be in the area. We were there for one night to go to Canada’s Wonderland and the location was perfect for this purpose.

The pool was absolutely filthy. We had been looking forward to swimming, but the grime made it an unpleasant experience. The coffee during breakfast was sludge at best.

The room was bigger than I expected, and as I was travelling with a friend, we were able to get a room with 2 beds which was a plus! The lady at the desk was super friendly and check-in was easy. No noise complaints anywhere, room cleanliness was amazing and even the bathroom facilities were perfect!

A little bit out of the way in terms of location, but for the price it makes complete sense. It's not a bad area either, there's plenty around it :)

Staff was exceptional… parking great for handicapped…loved the free fresh delicious special brewed coffee available all day and treats available …. Breakfast was quick delicious and plentiful…room was clean bright and we loved the deco look … excellent stay

Our room was quite noisy as we were on the highway side of the hotel and the heating/ air conditioning was quite noisy when on … we did have trouble falling back to sleep during the night … luckily we did not have children but everything else was super … we will try to book more quiet side of hotel next time

Overall very good!..the Dove products great. Also excellent blackout curtains, comfortable bed. Had all amenities. Good breakfast with good choices-with almond milk, oikos, eggs, strong coffee, hot sauce, meat option. Liked fridge in room, iron, hairdryer. Good system with ice. Nice to have coffee, water, and bubbly water 24/7

There was no ventilation in the bathroom. Maybe milkettes options vs coffee mate for coffee outside of breakfast hours.

The hotel is in a good location and equipped with free parking. There are also surveillance cameras in the parking lot. The hotel room equipment is relatively new. The business is booming, resulting in a shortage of seats during breakfast time. You need to wait for a while before eating.

The swimming pool was not open during our two days of stay. Breakfast should be prepared according to the number of people staying at the time to avoid customers waiting there during busy hours.

Michelle at the front desk was absolutely amazing. I had just landed early that morning from Thailand, dead tired and needed a room. Check-in was at 3pm and I was there at 8AM Michelle went above and beyond to make sure I get a room as soon as possible and around noon I was able to rest my head on a very comfortable bed. Thank you Michelle and staff.

The location was pretty far from most things but not the end of the world.

The hotel is very modern and extremely clean. It has all the amenities like towels and hygiene products. The beds are comfortable. Casting YouTube on the flat screen smart TV is a very thoughtful thing and easily done. The 24 hour coffee at the lobby is top quality. The receptionists are very welcoming and courteous. You'll also notice all the small details once you actually get to stay here that are so considerate, i.e. the hangers, the hooks, several USB charging stations on the night table, the 24 hour bottled water available at the lobby. We have yet to try breakfast.

I just wish the size of the room was a bit bigger for a two queen beds room.
