My sister and I stayed August 10th to the 16th at the Great Canadian Casino Resort in Toronto. The time spent at this resort was exceptionally wonderful. It was conveniently located, and boasted amenities of all sorts. My sister and I received outstanding customer service from front desk staff Ms. Alonia Lee who checked us in and shared all information about the hotel and all that it entails; from entertainment, foods, location and booking of the shuttle vans, and other details. She took the time to share information ,and more that was pertinent to us. Furthermore Ms Lee went out of her way to ensure that all was going well throughout our stay. I also observed her providing other guests with the same attention and care that she provided to us. I must include the serenity of this resort it gave off a serene and zen appeal. Although a casino was located within, the atmosphere was quiet and not noisy. My sister and I truly had a wonderful time, and will definitely visit again with other family members. This resort is now considered our home away from home. Again I am impressed to say Ms. Alonia was a strong contributor to our positive vacation at this fantastic resort.

All the hotel is in good shape i liked the staying , the pool is great , the food also , the surrounding is really good and very accessible.

I called the reception the 18/08/2025 for the deposit just to ask if it was released 10 days after my stay and the lady that i got on the phone from the reception desk was rude cause my name was different from normal names by her saying and i quote " come on we are in canada, and you are spelling an arabic name " my spelling was letter by letter. I found it very unprofessional as i was polite i spelled it for the 5 time so she can find it .

The hotel is new and very clean, with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Our window had a view of the beautifully maintained green roof, while rooms on the other side overlook the horse racing track. The large windows add to the pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, and we were even provided with a free shuttle bus to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation close to the airport or visiting the casino. Also for those that have a car parking is free.

The hotel was great, but the location might not be ideal for those without a car, as it takes about 1.5 hours to reach Toronto by public transport. However, it’s perfect if you need to be close to the airport!

accessible room booked and it was excellent - lots of space for the wheelchair and transfers of patient (believe me this is not always the case!). Room was well equipped and clean. Parking was free and ample spaces; once you are parked you are indoors all the way to the hotel. Many restaurants/food court type places in the casino downstairs.

there was a very cold draught around the window area. Personally I like a cold room, so it suited me fine, but might be uncomfortable for other guests. Long walk from car park to hotel rooms, which was only an issue for me as I had to make multiple journeys to the car to be able to carry all the medical equipment we have to travel with. Making a singular journey would not have been an issue.

Everything was really nice! Beds, linens, space..great! Son loved watching the horse races from our room! Huge highlight

I wish there was something in the room to tell me what restaurants there were on site. I found a concierge that told us about the Asian lobster restaurant on the 2nd floor. We would have never known if we didn’t ask around. Our son is 16 so we couldn’t enter the casino area where all the other restaurants are. So grateful for the man who ran after us and told us about it when he remembered. Kind guy!

Beautiful hotel and casino in a great location near airport.

Lots of parking, however not clear directions for hotel guest parking. Difficult to check in as there were no temporary parking spaces and valet was unkind. Front desk staff at check in were also not helpful with instructions on where to park. There was ample parking and it wasn’t necessary to drive all the way down to bottom level where check in staff instructed. So confusing and not necessary. I realize valet is preferred by hotel and casino but not required by all guests.

Property was beautiful and parking was easy in the security controlled covered parking structure. The room was fabulous and clean and well laid out. We had a view of the track and room service and the hospitality from the staff was 5 star . I recommend this as being the best place to stay in the GTA. The casino was massive and the restaurants were top quality. We dined at the Copperhorn meet house and I’ll have to honestly say that was the best food I have ever experienced at any restraunt . My wife agrees. I’m not sure but it should have a Michelin rating for sure and the staff were also superb . Money well spent. I can’t say enough good things about this experience and I’m very picky. I definitely will be vacationing there once again and highly recommend the stay here.

The pool wasn’t open as it’s still under construction. That about it .

This is a brand new facility, and the rooms are designed well to meet the standards. The room was clean, and the room service was quick. Although this hotel is part of the casino, it was a suitable location even for my todller. He enjoyed the equestrian competition every single morning, which was held in the rink just in front of the nice view of our room. This facility is highly recommended for a family or who just wants to enjoy playing in casino downstairs. I was not satisfied with some of the staff behavior; however, this is not something that underestimates the high quality of this hotel.
