The location is superb. The resort is two 12-story buildings along the shoreline with a small pool in between. Staying on the 9th floor, we had ocean waves right in front of our balcony and could watch the turtles and whales playing all day. The kitchen in 2-bed 2 bath we rented is adequate. The staff is mostly great. The supermarket is a short and pleasant walk away. A boardwalk that starts right from the resort and lasts for 3.5 miles is perfect. The beach is OK (typical for Kaanapali), but one can fine better ones nearby, so it's not a problem.

The mattress in the master bedroom is way too soft. Probably it needs to be replaced. One horrible thing is that we saw cockroaches a few times. Not often, but one is too many.

It has a nice ocean view. Sleeping with the sound of the waves is very relaxing. They have fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove/oven which was great for us to prepare our meals. The receptionists were very nice and gentle.

The bedroom area has carpet :/ it’s very humid too, so I don’t think having carpet was a good idea. You have to pay $50 if you want room service. Which is okay, but the apartment should at least have a broom and dust pan to sweep the floors every now and then. I had sand from the beach on the floor and really bugged me not having anything to sweep them off. They also have bugs in the apartment which they make us aware of it, and completely understandable due to the weather and area. So make sure to keep the kitchen clean. The apartment needs some upgrades, some furniture is very outdated. The bedsheets had some funny smell probably because of the humidity.

The Property is a condominium building but works like a hotel minus the daily cleaning staff unless requested. If you prefer a modern room make sure you select the “premium” room. The location is amazing, the Ocean Front views are stunning. The proximity to restaurants, Whaler’s Village and excursions is fantastic.

Because these are condos it’s challenging for the staff to know which have been updated and which have not even when selecting Premium. It would be nice if there were a larger pool and maybe a pool bar with music etc.

Condo was nice, clean, professional. The view was great, especially being able to watch whales and sea turtles.

The staff consistently wasn’t friendly. The first day on 04Jan, there was a very professional representative for planning/organizing activities. She was quite nice and friendly. However, beyond that individual, 100% of staff at the front desk seemed bothered anytime there was questions. In addition, we came back to condo late one evening and the gas torches were lit. This was nice to see, but on one of the torches, the tip of the fire was reaching the leaves of the tree. When I reported this to the front desk, he responded with we know. We heard about this before. It isn’t a problem and I shouldn’t worry about it. Myself and my family were quite shocked with the nonchalant attitude related to a potential fire hazard.

The view of the ocean was incredible and had views of marine life including sea turtles and whales. The beach in front of the property was very quiet and we liked that very much. The pool area was laid back and relaxing. Liked that we didn't have to reserve a chair by the pool or on ocean side.

No chairs to use on the beach. We had to rent beach chairs from a business in town. That was the only negative.

The property is great as advertised. Its located next to the beach, the kaanapali beach board walk is right next to the hotel which is great for morning runs/walks or access to the beach anytime of the day. The room had great views, we saw turtles and whales (at a distance) from our balcony. The kitchen was well equiped and had everything we needed (only utensils and cutlery). The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had an amazing stay.

Nothing specific

Our room is spacious & has a beautiful ocean view . We go to sleep with the sound of the waves very relaxing . There's a small shopping center for groceries & restaurants nearby. There are also food trucks nearby . Sometimes we cook and eat at our balcony just admiring sunrise / sunsets. You can use the boardwalk or shoreline for walks. Bus stop is right nearby of the property if you don't want to drive. I love that the place is peaceful & has lush big trees it's very relaxing .

I wish it was a bit closer to the Whalers Shopping, maybe walking distance but that is geography on the good side there's a bus or it's just a few minutes drive .

We are so happy we stayed here. The best beach access (and view) hands down. The pool is lovely and it truly felt like an oasis, not like a crowded Disneyland type of resort. The kitchenette and washing machines were great for a longer stay, and the shower was luxurious. The lanai faces directly west, perfect for watching the sunset every night, with direct views of lanai’i and Molokai on either side. The amenities and style are more vintage and rustic, not super trendy and modern, but we loved that. It has that perfect beach house feel, with all the amenities of a hotel!

The location is great, the view, the access to the beach and the easygoing staff were really good. The flat space is also quite good. I usually don't enjoy swimming pools that much much. I spend a good amount of time there.

The flat is dated, everything works, and it's functional, but it's showing it's age. The cleaning is done once a week, which is not that good. The cleaning of common spaces like elevators could be better (the corners haven't seen a brush in months).

We had a very nice sea-view from our room. It was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. We could only hear to the sea waves and nothing else.

Room needs a bit more lighting as even with all lights turned on, it wasn't enough. Also, room was quite humid and there was a wet feeling bed but don't think they can do much about it since room is located too close to the sea. Pool was too small, they even had a remote chair for the pool for disabled people and many elderly people as guests.. Not too ideal for romantic couples..But I will keep in mind this hotel if I shit myself and I can still want to visit Hawaii.
