The only complaint I have is the TV and internet service provided. The TV system was difficult to figure out. The staff person did help but then I discovered that the channel offering was limited and only provide channels with lots of commercials. Also, there was no way to tell what was playing on the channels. You had to click into each and wait thru the commercials to tell what was playing and then you had to guess what show it was. I finally got so frustrated that I tried logging into the internet so I could watch shows on my computer only to discover I had to pay for internet with enough bandwidth to play video. I would have paid but it was already late in the evening and figured I would not get my money's worth so I just read a book. The staff was not very familiar with the internet serve or the TV service.

Offer a better selection of TV channels with a way to see what is on the chancels. Train staff on these services

wasn't completely satisfied with the breakfast because I don't care for fake eggs, however I found enough to satisfy us. I did like and appreciate real dishes and utensils instead of plastic and Styrofoam!! The free shuttle worked very well for us.

I did not like the cold indoor pool water. Forgot to inquire as to why it was not heated. The lighting in the room wasn't well distributed. Not enough light on the right side of the room.

Everything was up to date and clean. Breakfast had good options, although everyone seemed to struggle with waffle maker. Loved that pets were welcome and there are nice walkways connected to hotel to take them out. Took advantage of the pool and hot tub which was enjoyable. Every staff encountered was friendly and accommodating.

No complaints

Your shuttle driver is super nice, tells us about the history of Mayo, where to eat, what activities are available with movies and such. The one who worked second shift during our stay was really nice too, signing us up for the shuttle or getting an extra pillow. The head housekeeper was super nice as well.. You have some good employees there.

The accommodations of the shuttle to the Mayo Clinic were the best! Made my stay there smooth and stress free. I will choose this place again on my visits when I have to go back.

The breakfast although was a hot breakfast was not the best breakfast. But they did try.

Breakfast was great! Location is great! The shuttle to and from Mayo Clinic provided by the hotel was invaluable! Drivers were friend, especially Tim. What a gem of a person!

Noisy kids one night and noisy inconsiderate teens another night after 9 PM. Whirlpool wasn’t very warm at all.

We took advantage of the underground parking which we were happy to use as the area above ground was very full. The breakfast was a great way to start off our day and we had a nice variety to choose from. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends needing to stay in the Rochester area.

Would recommend to have a tall toilet in the rooms. Or I would need to request a handicapped room for my next visit. Other wise I was very happy with the room.

Room was very comfortable

Very noisy with a baseball tournament and unruly boys in the pool…unsupervised. Staff tried to help but parents didn’t seem to listen or care that their kids were screaming constantly in the pool area.

It was all very nice. The people at the desk were great. Rory? The man at night was such a sweetheart.

TV channel selection was pretty bad.

Home2 Suites was a wonderful base for our time in Rochester. The proximity to the Zumbro river trail was great for morning runs. The breakfast offered a good amount of choices, with healthy and hearty options. A big plus was the pool. Not only was it warm, the opening hours are long, which is great for families. The staff was fantastic too. Additional kudos to Alan who jumped in to help guests wherever possible, and always with a smile and kind word.

On the weekend the underground parking fills quickly and the spaces can be a bit tight for big SUVs. Also the elevator is quite loud to the point you can hear the ding inside your room as it arrives on each floor.
