Fiona was really friendly and so accommodating. Very comfortable bed and great shower. We went into Ledbury to eat at an excellent pub (suggested by Fiona) the Seven Stars. Super staff, great food and beer. We walked up and down the town (unfortunately we arrived to late to look around inside the shops). but still all very quaint. We had driven from Suffolk and were on our way to St Davids Wales for a weeks holiday. Excellent half way point to spend the night. Thank you so much Fiona for being such a great host

We were very happy with everything

Great location. In the middle of the Herefordshire countryside and surrounded by England’s best flora & fauna. The quiet of the night, waking with the chorus of dawn birds. A typical country garden that needs a bit more care and attention didn’t distract from our relaxing environment. B&B room was small with a large super king bed that was perfect for us. The quient Rey short doors built in an era when people stood no more than 5’ tall. My 6.3 fella was doubled over when going into and out of the kitchen. The kitchen was very old fashioned and in keeping with the Tudor house. If you’re expecting anything modern, then you’ll be at the wrong venue. We were asked what time we’d like to have breakfast (which was nice) rather than told the timing. He had a good continental breakfast, but I know we’d have loved some freshly cooked bacon and egg. Bathroom/ shower room. Modern with family size containers and a power shower.

We would have loved a full English breakfast. It’s what we paid for and thought we’d be getting, but the offer was for a continental breakfast and the full English was taken away from us.

We liked the room. Warm, clean and comfortable with a super king bed. Modern, stylish en suite shower room. Breakfast was continental with a very good range of cereals, toast and croissants. Rural location which we liked. Quirky building! Old and full of character.

It would have been helpful to be able to book in around 4.00pm so we could find The Moats and leave our luggage in daylight and then go out for an evening meal. We would also have enjoyed some fruit or yoghurt with breakfast

The hostess, Fiona, was very welcoming and friendly. My stay was very much a home to home environment, the bed very comfortable and the shower/bathroom ensuite - water pressure great in the shower. Easy to find and lovely and quiet. Given my own access key which allowed me independence to come and go - obviously meeting the access hours as noted on the booking site. Wi-fi good and strong and good selection of all TV channels.

Arrival time could be more flexible, We booked it as in pictures on website it looked like a beautiful garden to sit in overlooking beautiful countryside as there was very little to do close by , unfortunately to garden has just been left to re wild over the last three years . I understand why Fiona has done this. But there is no longer anywhere to sit out and enjoy

I initially booked as a solo traveller and then changed my booking to accommodate a friend travelling with me. Fiona was an absolute delight, as was her partner. No issues with making the change, received a very warm welcome and enjoyed several lovely days in their beautiful home. The room we stayed in had its own doors so we could come and go as we pleased and not worry about disturbing our hosts. Beautiful room, ideal setup, truly lovely people.

The setting is absolutely idyllic for a country retreat but with all the comforts you could ask. Lovely comfy big bed and very clean and immaculate condition throughout. Fiona is a wonderful host, wr thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her and breakfast was plentiful and good! Thank you so very much Fiona!

The room with its extremely comfortable bed had just what we wanted with regard to facilities, and the continental breakfast provided was just the right start to our mornings. The location of the house provided the tranquility we were after while at the same time being in easy driving distance of Ledbury and Great Malvern. Fiona and Peter went out of their way to look after us during the 3 nights we stayed at The Moats, providing tips for eating out, ideas for places to visit and great conversation. Fiona even took us out to see the donkeys, geese, peacocks and chickens she keeps at her other property nearby. If we ever find ourselves back in the area there is no doubt in my mind that this would be our first choice for accommodation. Thank you, Fiona and Peter, for a wonderful stay and we wish you every success with your future ventures.

There is absolutely nothing I could possibly enter here!

Fiona showed us her farm with animals. She brought a goose in her arms, so cute. About the breakfast: On the table was magnificent tableware. We had a varied choice of breakfast cereals. (Maybe 10 different kinds of cereal). One toast each with jam or Nutella. Also, we asked for a couple of boiled eggs, and extra coffee. On the second day, we had our own eggs from the local farmers, and Fioana cooked them for us and said that she won't charge us for them. We got an extra coffee on a tray into the room. We had a different door, we could lock our door and feel safe. Straight away from the window and from the door window, we could see nature, trees, grass, and the sky.

more work could be put into the garden.

The house is beautiful and the room is very comfortable. The Malverns and bars/restaurants are a short drive away. A beautiful location. Fiona is amazing... warm, welcoming and super funny. My mum and I had an amazing stay. We will definitely be back. Great communication, amazing stay. Thank you very much.
