We stayed at the Wheatsheaf pub this weekend for one night, myself , my husband and our two daughters! The room was perfect for us, very comfy beds, en-suite with a shower, tea, coffee etc. We had dinner which was amazing, quick, hot, well presented and with a friendly face! We also had a full English fry up in the morning which was fantastic, nothing was a problem, again the food was hot and eggs cooked the right way ! Not snotty and still runny! It was loud of an evening when we went to bed. Overall we had a lovely stay and will be back! Lovely pub, lovely owners and staff!

Nice hotel off the main road so easy to find. Large free parking. Rooms were very spacious and nice clean sheets, good matresses and pillows. Good heavy curtains. Tea/cofee facilities in room and regularly replenished as host was happy to give extra bottled water/coffee etc. Host was very amenable to any requirements. Good hot showers.
Car park had no lights so was worried about leaving car all night in a dark car park. Close to road so traffic noise, but luckily fairly quiet after 11pm

Didn’t stop for breakfast (due to travel arrangements) but evening meal was excellent, quality and well presented, if we were local you would be our regular. Overall the accommodation was a good standard and I liked the inclusion of bottled water for drinks or kettle use. Toiletries provided were of a good quality (namely Dove so well received). All staff we encountered were friendly, polite and accommodating. Excellent value for money all round.
Slightly outside Ledbury where we thought we might be but at the end of the day this really didn’t matter.

Good location for where I was working. Excellent team of staff - nothing to much trouble, including filling my milk bottle to take to work for making my tea. Fantastic evening meal menu, well cooked and presented, and quickly served. A word of warning; the Mixed Meat and Cheese Ploughmans is easily big enough for two (but I managed to finish it cos it was so good.) Oh, and the prices are spot on. The bar was busy on all nights which made for a great atmosphere; lots of local folk with chat flowing. Great.
Oh dear, the bane of the small bathroom basin strikes again! Hardly large enough to wash and shave in.

Compact but a clean and pretty room with all necessary facilities. Lovely and quiet which was a nice surprise being above a pub. Free parking I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.
It was hard to find out information about the food on offer in the pub in advance so I made other arrangements. I might have eaten there if I had known. The food did look very good and lots of families eating there seemed a good sign.

Great pub accommodation. A comfortable bedroom and bathroom (ensuite) with great shower / TV / coffee and tea making facilities. The staff were just great: friendly, organised and efficient. Great selection of beers and other drinks at reasonable prices and the bar meals were very good with a surprisingly wide choice.
Can’t think of anything. At worst the kettle was too big for the sink but that was about the worst thing we could find to say!!

Staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was spotless, the bed was so comfy and so cosy. We had food in the restaurant the night of our stay and it was superb so delicious and plentiful and the breakfast the next day was amazing, completely us up for the rest of the day! Would definitely be returning.

Location is easily accessible, rooms clean and comfortable, food is excellent and staff extremely accommodating and friendly. This is the second time of staying there and didn’t disappoint.
Nothing to dislike, however would point out that the stairs may be an issue for someone with mobility issues.

Large and comfortable rooms, handy base for exploring the area. Good breakfasts and evening meals if you fancy.
We were experiencing a heatwave during our stay and the traffic noise did prevent us from leaving window open all night. That’s all though.

The owners couldn't do enough to help us and looked after all our needs efficiently. Very friendly. The food was excellent with a good range of choice. We would stay there again if we were over that way.
The room was on the s.mall side but it served its purpose and was clean and tidy.
