The charm of the Falcon is that it’s a very old building in the heart of Bromyard. Our room was quirky, with very uneven floors, but it was very clean, with a lot of nice touches and attention to detail. Every contact with the staff was faultless. They were helpful, efficient and hard working. A large Christmas party was happening in an adjacent room, but apart from the bar being crowded when they all arrived, we were hardly aware of them and were well looked after. I’m usually very reluctant to eat dinner is hotel restaurants - too many poor experiences. Due to other restaurants in town being fully booked in the run up to Christmas, we decided to eat in and it turned out to be excellent. Good ingredients, cooked just right, great service and sensibly priced. Nice selection of beers and cider in the bar too. We look forward to having another opportunity to stay again and will definitely dine in the restaurant.

The car park was pretty full in the afternoon, even though there seemed to be few guests at that time. The bed ( room 4 ) could do with a replacement mattress. The springs made it feel rather uncomfortable at first, but we eventually slept well.

Easy to find and well placed for my meeting the following day in Hereford which was a 20 minute pleasant drive away. Access to car park a bit tight! but plenty of room in the actual area. Room 4 was comfortable and had plenty of space for me, a couple may need a bigger room. Food in restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Kate, who checked me in and served me at the bar was excellent, very efficient and friendly. Breakfast we also very good, plentiful and tasty. Price was good value for the area and season. Overall a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely 500 year+ property, staff were lovely and friendly and even moved a car so we could park ( Friday lunch club meant car park was full until 2:30) Modern bathroom despite many original features elsewhere Great location for a wedding we were attending ( 3 miles away) watch out for the rip off taxis

The only thing I could fault is the sausages were a bit hard

Only stayed one night. The bathroom was spotless and so was the room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They told us that they couldn’t make any food that night as they were busy with a wedding. We went and found a curry house up the road which was great. This is a very old building and as such everything feels on a tilt which is to be expected. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Very comfortable bed , with lovely bedding Nice spacious room/ bathroom Lovely hot shower Plenty of variety on the tea tray Staff very welcoming Great location Lovely old building, with lots of character. The dinner was really good. Tasted freshly cooked and plenty of it.

The wait for menu’s We asked several times for some more, and they never arrived until we asked for the 3rd time. There was 4 of us sharing 1 menu. The vegatarian sausages were very very hard.

The quality of the food was exceptional and the level of service was very high. Also the bar area was very comfortable and the locals were very welcoming. I will now be visiting the area on a regular basis and this is the hotel I will be using.

Some of the stairs were very tight and the building did creak but with the age of the building this was to be expected.

Fantastic location. Friendly helpful staff. Quirky stay in the heart of the small town. Perfect for overnight stays. Easy to locate. Great parking facilities too.

Breakfast. Lacked flavour. (But I can be quite a picky eater myself especially when it comes to Breakfast). Would have been nice to have been offered alternative milks. (Lactose free guests - bring your own).

Historic old building full of original features. Very querky. Fabulous staff, friendly and great customer service. Plenty of secure free parking onsite. Comfortable bar and old worlde restaurant. Good value for money. Great location.

Our room (4) was a bit stuffy as the windows didn’t open. Next door to what I think was the kitchen and voices travelled early in the morning.

We only stayed over night as a stop off on the way to the Midlands from South Wales. The welcome was very good and the dining room and food was excellent. We made good use of the bar in the evening and everyone was very friendly.

The rooms were a bit shabby and could do with some updating. It's an old building that has been well used and needs looking after.
