We had a double aspect room with twin beds over looking the fields. Unfortunately there wasn't any stock grazing but according to Annie the proprietor that's unusual. We stayed two nights Friday and Saturday on Sunday morning to our good fortune and delight there was a farmers market right outside where we bought some beautiful garden plants before departing. Beth and myself would like to thank everyone who was so helpful epically Jess who went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was wonderful I wouldn't change a single thing.

This place seemed to be in the middle of nowhere but it is so well patronised so obviously not! It was perfectly located for us as we were attending the Shelsley Walsh hill climb. We liked the ethos of this establishment. The chef has been with them for 15 years and uses everything local or fresh and bakes their own bread too. The dinner and breakfast being homemade where possible and very tasty. Good value for money.

For what we paid it was excellent.

The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and the facilities were more than adequate. Location was good for what we needed. Dining was very good too with home-made beers and home-grown produce well to the fore.

The room was very cold on arrival at about 5pm, so we were glad that we didn't arrive earlier. The heating came on by about 6pm and was effective from c.7pm, at which point the room was comfortable. There could usefully have been more choice re fruit and cereal at breakfast.

The pub is very quirky with rustically decorated bar and restaurant rooms. The food is mostly home cooked and the pub has its own bakery which produces home made bread and pies. It also has its own brewery and the beers are excellent! The staff on duty the night I arrived (7th August) were exceptionally friendly and helpful and I was very impressed by their thoughtfulness and hospitality.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable with superb garden and countryside views, but it could be improved by being upgraded and redecorated

Great location and a great Room. The building is obviously very old and the Room has been decorated to retain the old features of the era it was built in. Great having the pub downstairs where we had great food and drinks.

Was all great really, but if I wanted to pick-flies, the bed was a little hard, but then that maybe just down to personal preference.

Staff were super friendly even before we arrived, they were really helpful in recommending a taxi driver to us for our stay. They remembered our request for an early check in and were really accommodating. Room was really clean and comfortable for our 1 night stay. We missed the breakfast slot in the morning but the lady on reception said she would sort us out breakfast and we had a fab full English which was great. Really recommend this place, it far exceeded our expectations and would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Perfect location if you're attending any events at Bredenbury court barns only 15 min drive away

No complaints.

Breakfast was very good. Location of hotel was perfect as we were visiting family in the area. There were lovely views from our room and it was very quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Shower over bath was OK but shower cubicle would have been better for us. However we knew when we booked that the only room available had shower over bath.

we walked 20 miles along the Worcestershire Way from Bewdley to the Talbot and it was worth every step. a great old fashioned pub, with a bar and separate dining area. they have their own brewery ’Teme Valley’ and bakery. on arrival we received a very friendly welcome from the staff and locals, a great atmosphere. The food was very tasty and good value. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. spacious bathroom with a large bath with piping hot water, with shower overhead. an excellent breakfast the following morning set us up for our 12 mile walk to Malvern. We’ve walked the Worcestershire way a few times but this was the first time we’ve stayed at the Talbot, but it won’t be the last time.

nothing all was great
