Very friendly welcome from Steve. Very spacious room with king size bed which was extremely comfortable and air conditioning a real bonus. Breakfast had a good choice of fruit along with cereal, yoghurt, orange juice and a cooked breakfast with toast. Location was great and although on a main road, we were not bothered by the traffic despite having a room facing the road. Took no more than 10 minutes to get to Malvern where parking was very reasonable in the long stay for 50p an hour!

There was nothing we didn’t like. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room although these sometimes make a noise especially heard during the night.

Lovely spacious room, penty of wardrobe space although we didn't need it as such. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and my wifes favourite of a selection of fruit to start. It's on the main Malvern road which meant there was some traffic but the very good double glazing did it's job so we didn't really notice. A very hot spell when we stopped with temperatures heading to the 30's so we were extemely glad of the air con unit in the room and the fan in the breakfast room. Would happily book again, thanks to Steve for msking it a pleasant stay.

Not a lot

Like its name suggests, the Halfway House was halfway between Worcester and Malvern, which was ideal for what we needed. The room was clean and very spacious and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. There was also bottles of water, which were restocked during our two night stay. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there was also fresh fruit and cereal. What I really liked was the fact there were fresh strawberries, blueberries and grapes and not tinned/frozen which is often the case in many hotels.

If anything, outwardly the property looks a little tired, but we were more than happy with our stay as inside it was cosy (only 4 rooms) clean and very comfortable.

The room was really cosy, the bed was very comfortable and a decent bathroom as well with a power shower. Steve is an excellent host, and it shows that he wants you to get the best out of your stay. Breakfast in the morning was a great selection including full English, teas coffee etc and was great. The Swan pub at Newland did wonderful food, very good. Overall, a great stay. A brilliant night's kip on the way to Wales.

Some traffic noise if you were a light sleeper. Also google maps will take you left on entry to the place, go right.

We had room 1. It was of a good size and very clean as was the bathroom which had a good shower. The hospitality tray was well stocked and generous. Our room, which had air conditioning faced the busy main road but the double glazing was excellent and we did not notice any road noise. The breakfast offering included fresh fruit and a good full English breakfast. Parking was good. There was a honesty bar available which had a good selection of reasonable priced drinks. The owner was cheerful and helpful.

Nothing

Lovely big bed with crisp white bedding , not too hard like many other hotels but pleasantly soft yet firm. Everything was spotlessly clean including the ensuite shower room which had a walk in shower. Husband appreciated the honesty bar for a 'night cap'. Decent size TV for a B&B and a comfy couch in the room. We later discovered that we had to leave an hour before the breakfast was served as we had to visit an event which opened at 7.30. So had to wake the host in order to pay for our room and bar bill, who was gracious despite being disturbed so early on a Sunday morning.

Breakfasts were very good with very good service. The accommodation was very conveniently situated for our travel plans and near to facilities and restaurants. A very clean and comfortable room.

The traffic was very noisy as our room fronted a very busy main road. The double glazing muffled the noise well, but we couldn't open the window for air.

Clean and straightforward rooms with everything we needed. Delicious breakfast and comfortable beds. Cute honesty bar for drinks! Would recommend.

We hadn't realised that there wasn't actually a pub on the premises to get food (our fault). Had to drive just a few minutes to a nice pub up the road, which was recommended. Would be good to have some snacks in the honesty bar too perhaps. Would appreciate conditioner in the rooms too.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom and shower, excellent breakfast and a lovely host All you need in the room - ample supplies (shortbread a nice touch), good sized wardrobe, good heating and a brilliant hairdryer (better than mine!) in the drawer Very little noise from the road outside because of good double glazing Both other couples were repeat stays, says it all

Ideal position for Malvern & Worcester. Ample parking. Twin room booked, nice & warm. Comfy beds, lovely large bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast, choice of cerals & fresh fruit. Steven very polite & accommodating nothing too much trouble Didn't manage to have time to use the honesty bar, perhaps next time. Like to support independent businesses, will book again when visiting the area.

The dining area was a little sombre, perhaps some low volume background music, eg: local radio station.
