Lovely place to stay when visiting Worcester. Very close to the city centre and Foregate Street Station. Also only 15 minutes walk to Shrub Hill station. Place was in great condition with good facilities and very comfortable. I especially liked the shower.
The only minor complaint I have is that the sensor for the light in the communal areas by the front door isn't great - it didn't trigger the lights to switch on when I first arrived (late evening) so I had to use my phone torch to get from the front door to my room. I guess that might pose a slight security risk too...

The location was great - near the station, but without any train noise. Near to shops. There aren't so many restaurants in Worcester that are open at weekends, but we certainly didn't starve! Also very nice to have a little kitchenette so you can have breakfast in your room and also make a cup of tea. Great contact with Jackie, thanks!
The only real issue was that a lot of light entered through the curtains (and various other smoke detectors etc, which I know are obligatory) in the room. We found it a little difficult to sleep and woke up really early too.

I didn't meet Jackie but her communications were timely and efficient. The bed was super comfortable, and it was great to have cooking facilities, fridge and wine cooler (even though I didn't use them). Glad to have a coffee machine - I did use that. Bathroom and shower were great. Arrangements for check-in (using key codes) were fine. Location was super. No breakfast, but I knew that in advance and would recommend Papa's in New Street for a really good breakfast in a non-chain cafe. Great stay. I don't go to Worcester all that often, but should I go back, I will definitely return
I liked it all!

Location was very convenient for central Worcester and the station was only 5 minutes walk away. Apartment was very comfortable, well designed, had a large sized bed, and all the equipment we needed. Although there are other apartments in the building and it is near the centre of town the apartment was very quiet. The owner Jackie was very helpful.
Parking on the road outside to unpack wasn't easy due to traffic and double yellow lines but there is a pay and display car park directly across the road and for longer term parking at a reasonable price there is a Council multi-storey car park only 10 minutes walk away.

Decor was excellent, spotlessly clean, bathroom modern and very clean, plenty of kitchen equipment, plates, cutlery, glasses. Coffee machine and kettle. A pint of milk in the fridge on arrival, a nice gesture The bed was extremely comfortable. The roof garden was lovely, seating and a heater, lovely place to sit
The only negative was the traffic noise, the property is on a one way system which is busy during the day but quieter at night but increased at the start of rush hour. It wouldn’t stop us staying there again but would bring ear plugs or request a room that isn’t Road facing. Nothing the owners can do about it and it didn’t spoil our stay

Very good location close to centre of town. Very clean. Lots of facilities in room. Great bathroom. Huge comfortable bed. Very well decorated room. Surprisingly quiet because it's next to a busy road. Very helpful advance information. Thanks Jackie.
Recommended parking opposite the accommodation was expensive, difficult to access and has no card machine. Be wary of downloading the Rimggo app. We used the car park around the corner instead We found it difficult to sleep because the room was hot and there's no AC. We tried to open the skylight but the remote control didn't work.

We wanted to book in a little earlier than 3pm and were delighted when we were accommodated. The room was called Goldings and was perfect. It was extremely clean, well presented ( loved the decor ), and perfect for a few days away. The bed was very comfy, and we slept well. The shower must also get a mention, it was great. The Hop Merchants House is in a perfect position to visit Worcester, and we found it very quiet. Parking is convenient, just opposite and priced at £12 for 24 hours. However, there are cheaper parking spaces a short walk away.
Just one small thing, there is a fancy microwave oven available to use, and we struggled to operate it without a manual. It might just be our age - hahaha.

This is an exceptionally well-designed apartment with a lovely entrance hall and easy coded access. Ultimate level of cleanliness in all areas. Extremely comfortable bed with crisp high quality bedding. A fantastic boutique kitchen, with microwave & fridge, made it possible for us to eat 'in' after an exhausting journey, with M&S close by... Excellent staff communications via phone. We loved it all!
OK it's on a main road, but the noise is muffled by double glazing so no problem for us + visually we found the adjustable blinds actually made the 'roadhouse kinetics' quite exciting. However, although the 'open bulb' lighting over the bed is really attractive, it's just not great for reading or for isolating the spread of light to your partner who may want to sleep. We have experienced a similar oversight in many of the otherwise excellent places where we have stayed on our travels.

Great location, close to a car park that was good value. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the terrace was a good place to sit out and have a drink. Owners were great at communicating and we even got into are room early which was a bonus.
The room could of done with a blackout blind as the flood light in the car park opposite (great for peace of mind as car was parked there) shine into the room all night so wasn't great. The terrace furniture could of done with a quick sweep off as a few leaves but not dirty.

A great place - so pleased I found it! Jackie was able to allow me to take the room slightly early as I wanted to drop my bags before going to my meeting. The room was spotless, modern and welcoming. The small kitchenette was perfect with a wine cooler big enough for my supper! Would totally recommend to anyone looking to be in walking distance to the station. Would choose to stay here again if I return to Worcester.
Only down point was I couldn't reach the window to open it but minor point as the rest was delightful!
