Location was excellent - fantastic for walks. Restaurant and bar good sized and well laid out. Excellent range of local beers. Food quality very good especially the pie. Outside bar area excellent for lunch and after walks drinks. Good sized car park. Room was very clean and had windows that opened

Supplies of coffee and milk and toilet rolls could have been more generous. Lots of stairs to negotiate with a heavy case. We were put in a family room rather than the double we had booked and there were 2 beds which meant that the main bed was a bit small for 2 of us and the space around it a bit cramped.

1. Arrived early for check-in but the nice restaurant/beer garden was open and that made the wait so much better. 2. Unfortunately the rooms don't have refrigerators but that meant anytime you needed milk for tea - you can call front-desk and they brought it to you in seconds - it was a nice service. 3. Room Service - they do offer the ability to bring food to the room. 4. recommend the suites because they have a sunset view. 5. On-site restaurants - the pub and Vu restaurant have the same food but lovely experiences and high quality food. 6. Joe provided great service

1. Bathroom was relatively new (pretty new for England) but it could have been cleaner (minor mold on the ceiling) 2. Breakfast time - the breakfast restaurant is only open for a short period of time so you have to sign up for a time slot. This prevented me from going down to breakfast just because I couldn't be spontaneous (like if you pick a time on the first day, are you stuck with that time for the whole duration?). This also made the time in the restaurant stressful for the staff and created some delays. It is lovely that breakfast was included and overall it was a good offering but overall experience is diminished (might work for a business hotel but not a leisure hotel such as this one).

The location is perfect for walking the Malvern Hills, the rooms are a lovely size with large modern bathrooms. However the best thing we remembered from our last visit was still present and is the icing on the cake - the staff. I don’t think we have ever stayed anywhere, globally, that compares with the friendliness, politeness and efficiency of all the staff - they are simply amazing. Hard working but always have time to help - and with great humour - from front desk to bar to restaurant this comment applies to everyone we came across. 6 star hospitality and a great credit to the hotel.

Room w as a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast service was very good. Drinks, toast etc and cold buffet very good. Cooked breakfast mixed….eggs royal for my wife excellent cooked traditional for myself excellent poached eggs but hash brown a soggy mess and bacon well overcooked. Dinner very good, excellent fish and chips, very thin batter lovely fish.

Lots of dogs in the bar area and not too careful owners. Message on front door re well behaving children should be added to re well behaved dogs. We would definitely visit again until we consider the dogs in the bar. One owner had three large dogs on long leads and we had to move to two new tables to get away from them!!! Not acceptable for us.

A super friendly, calm yet seemingly enormously popular and accommodating place in which to relax, play board games and celebrate with family, including the two dogs in our party. The staff were happy, friendly and efficient and very keen to help at all times. They all made us very welcome. The hotel is clean and well maintained throughout and of a high quality. We loved the way we were given the same table for both breakfast and evening meals. The music in the background was at just the right volume (refreshingly) and the playlist was superb!

The only thing I could think of improving was to have a shoe/boot tray for muddy boots in our room after a day walking...we used plastic bags as the carpet was so wonderful. Maybe a coat hook on the back of the door too.

We had a friendly welcome and were impressed by the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts were tasty and hot and the one dinner we ate in the Vu restaurant was delicious. The location is superb for walking in the Malvern Hills.

The room was quite noisy during day and evening from people eating and drinking in the busy patio beneath. There was a lot of traffic noise during the day but quieter at night. However this was unimportant when considering the fabulous location.

Lovely room with very comfortable bed and great view. Plenty of choice for dinner. Enjoyed the Full English Breakfast. Scrambled egg was some of the best I have tasted in a long time. Superb location in the Malverns, very near the British Camp/Herefordshire Beacon. Staff so, so friendly and eager to help. Very pet friendly. It was a lovely atmosphere.

Just a minor thing, but we weren't told about the radiator in the room - normally, turning a radiator down to the frost setting, would effectively turn it off, but the radiator was really quite warm on this setting. Turning it to 0 still had heat! Apparently, the electric switch should have been turned off, as this seems to act as some sort of back-up to the normal central heating.

Everything! The room was absolutely delightful, clean, full.of character and smelt amazing. Comfortable too. The location is literally right at the bottom of Malvern Hills so you are in fir a treat there, walking just across the road and you can start your hike. The food was cooked to perfection, great selection of beers and ciders! Stowford press and Henry Weston, I was spoilt for choice. Beautiful real fire going, great atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, huge portions and tasty, really tasty. A proper breakfast. Absolutely delighted with our stay and cannot wait to come back, 10/10 recommend.

The hike 🤣🤣 my legs are killing (it was a great hike, loved it really)

We booked this hotel as a last-minute break as I was walking the Malvern Hills with friends. The hotel felt like it had been recently renovated. Everything was of a good standard and very clean. All staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a very good size, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we were in the area again. The one thing that would have made it even better would be if they served cocktails.

Staff very friendly, especially the ‘breakfast’ staff - great fun and sense of humour! Breakfast very good, with a large choice of both cold and hot food - all served in a relaxed and well appointed space. Evening meal on arrival very good too. Bed super comfy (and I’m very particular!) - room 102. Bathroom huge. Also found two extra heaters in the large wardrobe if a bit chilly. Hotel in an excellent place for local (and wider a field) exploring/walking/hiking. Worked well for us visiting friends 20 mins away. Plans to return already in the making.
