Very friendly and helpful staff. Lift to bedrooms. Attractive, well furnished bedroom with very comfortable bed. Hotel, corridors and our bedroom were very clean throughout (except bedroom carpet - see below). Lovely views of river and cathedral. Small fridge was very useful. Excellent bathroom was kept spotlessly clean. Large dining room and bar overlooking the river. Breakfasts were excellent, cold items were beautifully presented and hot food was cooked to order. Easy access to the central part of the City.

Carpet in bedroom was grubby in places and needed thorough spot cleaning as a minimum. A second chair in bedroom rather than a stool. Grab handles should be fitted to bath with shower for customer safety. After booking came the big surprise - the hotel has no parking and the conveniently adjacent (about 50 yards) council car park charges £11.20 per 24hrs using the Ringo App. (There is cheaper parking further away.)

When we arrived, we were greeted before we got to reception and the gentleman carried our bag to show us our room. The room itself was very pleasant. Not huge but perfectly big enough. It was on the riverside so I thought it might be noisy but it wasn't at all. We ate in the restaurant and found that all very pleasant too.

The room was quite warm (it's August so that wasn't really unexpected). At breakfast I asked for a smoothie and granola but the choice was one or the other. It's a measure of how good the place was that I had to try to think of things to add in this section.

There is absolutely nothing I can fault about this stay. We booked a superior double, but on arrival were given a free upgrade to a luxury apartment, and it was truly luxurious. Our room was ready, so we were able to book in early, but if this had not been the case, there is facility to leave your luggage. Everything about the rooms exudes quality, I can honestly say this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in.We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant and the food was top class, and excellent value, which explained why the restaurant was full, mainly with local people. Despite it being full, the service was excellent. The inclusive breakfast was equally as good, with an amazing choice. All the staff were fantastic, and I still can't believe what amazing value for money this hotel is. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We loved this little hotel. The location is perfect. The staff were a delight - all of them. So polite - everything done with a big smile. Our room was very very nice - cosy, but comfortable. The bed was fabulous, the linen and towels were of a beautiful quality. Great shower. Lovely smelling toiletries. We ate in the hotel. Again, the service was brilliant and the food scrumptious. Breakfast was great. This hotel and all its lovely staff are a credit to Worcester. We would absolutely come back.

My usual gripe - no socket close to a mirror!

The hotel was extremely central and right by the river. The check-in was extremely fast and the gentleman who checked me in had my name and my key ready which was so painless. I had a lovely room which was very clean. The room was lovely with a huge bed and lots of different lighting options to have the room really bright. The bathroom was lovely and very clean and bright, with great products. The bed was extremely comfortable. I also had two meals at the property (lunch upon arrival and the included breakfast, just before I left). Both were excellent, especially the breakfast, and service was great. Lastly, I liked that it was possible to come/go through the main entrance/restaurant but there was also a separate exit. I really enjoyed the stay.

There wasn't nothing that I disliked at all. The plugs didn't have any USB ports but I think that was literally the only thing that came remotely close to inconveniencing me (mostly because I'd forgotten a plug and only brought wires to charge my phone).

The staff and service were superb. Lovely boutique hotel beside the river. We stayed in the adjoining apartment which was provided as a free upgrade. Extremely well furnished, two double bedrooms with one en-suite. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff could not have been more attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed an hour long walk along the Severn to the lock and back. Would definitely recommend to others.

Parking is not provided, but there is a large public car park a few meters away.

Staff were very efficient, attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent, generous portions. Our room was very quiet, not over the bar or restaurant area and it was so good to have the view of the river - particularly as we had a Juliette balcony from where we could also see the cathedral. The super king bed was very comfortable, perhaps the most important detail of a stay in a hotel.

Just one minor point - the bedside lamps were a nice design which complimented the decor but they didn't cast enough light over the bed to make reading possible. Wall mounted lights overhead or taller lamps would be good. That said this didn't spoil our visit.

We were very lucky to be upgraded to one of their apartments - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen and living space. The bed in the master bedroom was large and very comfortable. We slept very well! The lounge had a small balcony overlooking the river. We had dinner in their restaurant, which was excellent and fantastic value for money. Breakfast was included in our booking and was really good with a wide choice from their select menu. It made a welcome change from the ubiquitous self-service breakfast buffet offered at other hotels! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

First of all, many thanks to the hotel staff for upgrading my room- how delightful was the two bedroom top floor apartment with beautiful Severn views! It just made my mid week break an absolute dream-thank you! The apartment was spacious, immaculate and with all facilities required, including fully equipped kitchen. The hotel location was perfect, few minutes walk to city centre and Worcester cathedral. Staff was kind and generous, offering a marvellous breakfast menu- far the best in the many years I travelled around the Britain.

There was absolutely nothing not to be liked- this stay was a wonder and I will be back!

Being greeted with a glass of bubbly on arrival is a great way to start your stay. The Hotel Building is unique, a great location by the river and ideal for exploring the city and for river/canal walks. Room was very comfortable and cosy with scenic views of the river and cathedral. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and our Valentine’s evening meal was fantastic! The hotel really made our stay in Worcester memorable. Thank you.
