The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. The room was lovely. We really liked the breakfast hamper idea.
Although we liked the breakfast hamper idea we felt it could have been slightly better executed. Online it says that the chilled items will be put in the fridge of the room and the rest of the breakfast will be left in the hamper. In our case they did not make use of the fridge and instead put all items (including the milk and yoghurts) in the hamper with just an ice pack outside the room when they closed the pub at night. We felt that this was too long for the chilled items to be left out of the fridge with just an ice pack.

Great city centre location with really nice staff. It's totally dog friendly and the bar serves great ales. The continental breakfast in a picnic basket, delivered to the room, was superb. There's bottled water and coffee in the room. The 4 poster bed was a nice touch.
The steep stairs - not really a criticism as it's a coaching inn. The winter weight duvet with no air con wasn't great. The shower is not separate from the deep bath which is a bit awkward for people with mobility issues. Parking is in the NCP car park at £11.50 extra.

Loved the whole experience of staying in a historic building, I booked a room, but unfortunately, due to my disability was not suitable , management was very good and exchanged my room to one that was with no issues, made my stay comfortable thank you so much , very friendly staff , nice roaring fires .. in bars areas .. lovely breakfast .we had the continental breakfast served is a lovely basket everything fresh .. I can not praise them more .. will certainly stay again when we come to Worcester ... the cathedral is well worth a visit also
Nothing to dislike ..

Excellent location, close to all centre attractions in Worcester. We stayed in the Tilley and the box bed and large bath and shower were nice additions. The room was clean and well appointed with good character. The staff were very courteous and showed us to our room personally and explained how everything works.
My only very minor criticism was that the WiFi was down and the signal is bad due to the age of the building. This is a temporary problem though the staff explained and apologised for any inconvenience.

I liked that the room was very thoughtfully renovated and with a good quality - I wouldn't necessarily expect that from such an old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best thing though would be the breakfast - it's sent to the room in a very stylish old-style picnic box which is a great idea. Not only does it mean you can have breakfast any time you want, but also in your room.
Given that the breakfast is taken in the room, a bigger table might have been useful. It's fine when you're alone but even then the night stand is a little awkward to eat on. The service times are tied to the pub opening times which needs to be taken into account for the arrival date. However, when I was faced with a flight delay and called in, the staff made it clear that they would make the check-in possible anyway.

Very good location, very good room size, very friendly staff, breakfast wad very good served to you room you could upgrade to eat in the bar and a cooked one but no need continental was more than enough. The pub is in the shambles and very atmospheric
The room was above the beer garden, to be fair although noisy it went quiet around 1030pm. The bed was ok but I thought the sheet was too small for the mattress which caused the mattress corners to curl upwards

Great location in Worcester. The cathedral and the river are just around the corner. The inn has wonderful character. The staff are friendly and attentive. Martin is a great host. I really liked the breakfast picnic basket put outside my room every morning. The ensuite bathroom was modern and immaculate.
The modern car parking ramp directly across the street is an eyesore for such a historic street. However, there isn't anything the inn can do about that. Fortunately, there wasn't any noise from it.

The room had a nice feature in a place to hang coats and take off wet boots as you enter the room but before entering the main room. I was asked if i wanted the cooked breakfast or the standard, I opted for the standard. I was informed it would be left outside my door in a basket, it was a picnic hamper with plates and cutlery. The breakfast itself was more than enough and very nice.
I found the bed a little short but that was only a problem as I had a restless night.

Very good position, warm comfortable room, good well replenished coffee and tea making facilities, continental breakfast was included, good value. Access was easy through the staff entrance-so the pub didn't have to be open for us to get in.
The room was quite small and there was no hanging space for clothes- only a hook and drawers, the bed was a little soft- good for a night or two, but cramped for a couple for a week.

Nicely appointed bedroom if small [which given the historic nature of the pub is unsurprising] We had the continental breakfast which was well presented and left outside our room overnight. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked fine. We stayed during a particularly hot weekend in July and the room did get warm and stay warm overnight but no complaints, suspect it would be quite cozy in winter.
