Staff were all brilliant. Warm welcome, efficient and service was first-class. The room was bright, airy and clean, and everything worked well. Easy to park. The evening meal was very good, with a varied standard menu and enterprising specials on the board. Sensible wine list.

The bed was perfectly OK for just one night, but perhaps no longer! Breakfast is bookable through another service at the hotel; it was OK but not as good as everything else. Someone nuked the bacon.

Everything about this place was fantastic, except one thing! The food, beer , ambience and particularly the staff, were absolutely fantastic. Rooms were clean. Great location for Worcester.

The one bad thing, the bed, it was like sleeping on a piece of wood. Quite possibly we just got the bad bed. Apart from that this place was great and I’d give it five stars just for the pie.

What a find! This lovely pub not only served delicious food in the restaurant , part of the premises was used as a daytime cafe called The Twisted Spoon which served so many different teas and coffees and cakes that you are spoilt for choice. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with views over the countryside. Ample car parking beside the premises.

The staff were super friendly and efficient. The room had absolutely everything you could wish for including toiletries and coffee pod machine as well as sachets and Tea Pigs herbal teas. There was tons of hot water for a bath or shower and the facilities were spotlessly clean The food was brilliant, we arrived on steak night which was an unexpected bonus and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. Next morning you could have breakfast in the Twisted Spoon cafe/tea room, which is all within the same building, Lots to chose from the menu. Nothing to fault. 5*.

A very pretty location. Very friendly staff, who are very helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy with lovely views. Bar/restaurant/cafe area are very tastefully decorated and interesting. A beautiful country hotel/pub in a fabulous location, very convenient to travel to Worcester. This is the 4th year we have been here and will be booking again.

The location, friendliness of the staff, it was clean and the building itself was quaint.

Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable. Only one double socket. Not ideal when you are getting ready to go somewhere and you have a hair dryer to plug in, mobile phones to charge, when there are two women sharing and you have heated curlers and maybe want to boil the kettle for a cup of tea all at the same time. Also the mirror is too far away from the socket. The pictures on the website of the bedrooms are very nice, our’s wasn’t one of those !!!

The ONLY small imperfection was the shower in our bathroom wasn’t very powerful but I’m clutching to find something we didn’t like because us was near on perfect all round

Heating appeared to be switched off at 9.30 and did not come on again until 8am We had an early start so spent an uncomfortably chilly night with a very cold room to get washed and dressed in the morning Breakfast does not start until 9 am, but, in fairness to the venue, we had been aware of this in advance

Excellent evening, good food. The room was fine.

I did not like trying to get in for breakfast, to find out that it was not available until 9am, no notices anywhere. Then to find out that there was no breakfast because they were expecting a new electricity meter. The staff did manage to rustle up egg on toast, but I felt let down because we could have been informed of this when we checked in. We should have been given a discount but none was offered.

Lovely comfy stay, cosy room with decent coffee - staff very welcoming and the dinner was very tasty.

Just a suggestion for the owners - would have loved to have breakfast but as I was up for work I was long gone by the 09:00 breakfast start time …looked delicious and I was craving it mid morning.
