Very convenient location for our reunion of Kings School boys from 1963-73, and our partners. Easy walking distance to town centre. The first night dinner was well organised - we all received the correct dishes and they were tasty. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Everything was clean and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Quite expensive (£165 per night for a junior suite), but about par for city centre hotels these days.
A fridge in the room would have enabled us to keep cold drink water and fresh milk for tea. To get full marks for facilities, it would need to have a pool.

1. Very friendly receptionist on arrival. 2. Friendly bar staff with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. 3. Room with a view of the river. 4. Complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits and water in room. 5. Excellent breakfast selection and quality. 6. Hotel location. 7. Ample parking. 8. Lovely patio and seating area looking out over the river. 9. Within easy walking distance of the cricket ground.
1. Room was very warm due to the outside temps though, a fan was supplied in the room which helped. 2. Waitress staff at breakfast a little abrupt and didn’t feel like a warm welcome.

A stunning location on the banks of the River Severn and within walking distance of Worcester Cathedral and the historic city centre. The hotel itself has rooms in the main house and also an annex (which includes rooms for corporate/event use). The rooms were comfortable and clean and the front of house staff were very friendly and healthy.
Given the star rating of the hotel I think the rooms should have had a bit more by way of a 'welcome tray' and the continental buffet breakfast could have done with an overhaul. When I had breakfast the only nod in the direction of 'pastries' was a plate of small croissants and pastries that had been burnt in the oven and were served with their chargrilled edges! Not a great look!

A beautiful location on the river, with several large terrace patio areas giving views up and down. The indoor breakfast and dining room are similarly well positioned. The breakfasts were very good, everything from full English to GF bread. Staff were all excellent, friendly and competent. The rooms are all well appointed and comfortable. And, importantly for our purposes there is a car park, free for guests
The dinner menu was disappointing, quite a restricted choice. The rigatoni were just ordinary and we ordered two chicken salads that arrived with no dressing. To be fair our waitress brought a dressing of sorts, but we had to ask for it. Plus, my room was in the annexe, not the main building, on the second floor, all well and good, but there are no lifts, so you have to climb two flights of stairs. So elderly or disabled people need to ask about this.

Quiet spot with lovely view from family suite of the river. Helpful and polite staff. Room spacious, newly refurbished and to a high standard of cleanliness. Main building has some history. Food….we had tapas was good quality. So refreshing not to be charged extra to park which we find to be unreasonable in those hotels which do levy such charge. So did not feel the hotel was trying to squeeze every last £ out of guests.
Stairs might be troublesome if disabled but we were fine. Limited parking but it was private. Might be noisy would guess if hosting a party or wedding but we were early in the season so not an issue.

Location is perfect, I had a beautiful river view, and a short walk from town via the Cathedral. The rooms are a little dated, but very spacious and had a lovely feel to them, with everything you need. I checked in late due to a work event, so didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities (you have access to a nearby gym) - but I did have a very delicious breakfast. My poached eggs were perfectly cooked, there was proper greek yoghurt and homemade granola, and all the staff were charming. If work brings me back, I'll definitely book to stay again.

Lovely being next to the river Clean room and comfy bed
Room was freezing when we checked in at 3pm. We were hoping to have a rest after travelling but the room was too cold even lying in bed fully clothed. We had to go and sit in the main building till heating came on in room which when we asked at reception about it, was told it comes on at 6. When booking it looked like the room was in the main hotel building however it wasn't, it was in the annex on the ground level which we thought we would have more of a view than we did

The room is spacious and comfortable and was not too hot despite the warm weather. The fans provided were not needed. The breakfast is the best part of the food offering and a highlight of the stay. I hope that any new owners do not mess with the current offering, which is a pleasant change from either the chain hotel blocks or the rooms attached to pubs.
It would be good to have a desk or table at a convenient working height in the room, as working from a sofa on coffee table is uncomfortable.

Comfortable, very clean, quiet (but small) single room, at an ideal temperature when I stayed in March ... the breakfasts and a couple of evening meals were excellent and in a dining room with views over the Severn towards the County cricket ground. The plumbing in the en-suite bathroom was really well thought-out and reliable.
The free wi-fi was a little hit and miss, but really not complaining.

Location very good. Setting very good. Breakfast was good. They have a lovely patio area that overlooks the river. Nice in an old fashion way. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Plugs for charging our devices were low to the floor and hard to reach. The one night we had dinner, Friday Oct 11 was one of the worst meals I had in the month of traveling through the UK. Pasta with some kind of ground meat, no flavor. Other dish beef was tasty but mashed potatoes very runny.
