The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location right by the marina in Vis. It’s in a beautiful part of town, quite spotlessly clean and with a great selection of local artists shops and restaurants. The best restaurant however was at the hotel itself. They served the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere in the world, and I’ve done a lot of travelling. The food was also superb, the best I’ve eaten in Croatia and many other countries! We made a massive mistake not going back the next night as the restaurant we went to that day was terrible in comparison! The staff were super friendly, genuinely so, and really know all about the region, the tours you could do and the local wines. We couldn’t have had a better stay at a better place!

What a glorious boutique hotel in a truely hidden gem. Elegant and epitomising quiet luxury, not only are the rooms comfortable but also stylish. The venue as a whole has the same aesthetic. Breakfast in the terrace is delightful and the choices are superb with fresh herbs from the garden. Yes, bathrooms are small but I found it still well laid out and functional. The minibar and coffee machine are a welcome extra and the bed was super comfortable. Service was exceptional, and I highly suggest following recommendations from the staff; they know the island and the vistas so well. I actually found parking very easy and had no issues getting to the hotel though Vis is a historical city so expect cobble stone pathways. It’s part of the charm!

This is my second time to San Giorgio and it was exceptional yet again!! It’s the most beautiful hotel. The details of everything are immaculate. The staff are beautiful, the owner is amazing and the location is incredible! The breakfast included is delicious and the restaurant for dinner was the nicest meal we had for our whole time in Vis. It was our honeymoon and they had our petals on our bed and bought us flowers and gave us a bottle of champagne! I will definitely be going back again for a third time!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful. The staff were excellent, professional and friendly. The breakfast was superb and we were spoilt for choice. Lovely hotel and lovely people, dining in the restaurant garden with fabulous food was a highlight for my wife and I.

Only a minor thing, it would have been nice to be able to get a coffee from the hotel bar during the day and sit in the beautiful hotel garden. The Wi-Fi in the room we were in wasn’t great.

We had a magical stay at Hotel San Giorgio. We arrived by ferry at night and woke up in paradise. The staff were so kind and helpful: my luggage was lost and they located it and got it sent over on the first ferry. The breakfast was wonderful, the location superb and the hospitality first rate. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to return!

Our room needed some very tiny fixes - a missing lampshade, a baseboard that had come loose - these did not impair our stay whatsoever, but could use a quick visit from a handyman!

The hotel Is in a beautiful old stone building in a very nice location. Near the sea but a quieter part of the old town. We had two rooms, a standard one, which was nice, with a separate lounge area with a sofa and a small bathroom. The other room was at the top and was more spacious with a bigger bathroom and a lovely view. Breakfast was nice and the owners and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had bikes and free beach towels that we could borrow.

Beautiful setting, great ambience, fantastic host and delicious breakfast. The restaurant is also set in a beautiful, authentic stone walled garden.

Not their fault, but something to be aware of is that it can be tricky if you're arriving with large luggage since some taxis cannot access the old town area (i.e., you'll need to carry your luggage down some cobblestone streets). So, be sure to request a taxi that has entry access to that area and can drop you off close to the hotel.

This was by far our most charming and beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in!! Loved the location- our favourite part of Vis Town (near some great restaurants, supermarkets and bars)! About a 20 min walk to the port - gorgeous views and little shops and bars along the walk! The hosts are extremely charming and helpful - go out of their way to make your stay as awesome as they can! The buffet breakfast was superb and we definitely enjoyed a mimosa with breakfast to celebrate being on the gorgeous island of Vis!!! The hotel’s restaurant was closed for the season unfortunately but at least we had our breakfast in the charming and cute courtyard area! Everything is very clean and bed is very comfortable!! Absolutely recommend staying here if you are ever fortunate enough to stay on the peaceful and gorgeous Vis Island! We will always remember our magical 3 days on Vis Island at this extra special hotel!!!

The wonderful hotel is located in a small and beautiful ally only a few strides away from the boardwalk. It is stylishly furnished, very clean, cozy and yet elegant. We felt immediately comfortable as soon as we entered. We enjoyed our breakfast on the lovely and romantic terrace. There are plenty of choices. I want to point out the owners especially. They are affectioned, courteous and run their establishment with passion. The San Giorgio has lots of charm and is a marvelous place to spent a romantic vacation on Vis. The staff and facilities at the San Giorgio Hotel were exceptional. From the minute we walked in, to when we checked out, we felt like valued guests. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were lovely and the setting was idyllic. The restaurant associated with the hotel served some of the best food we have eaten on this trip in one of the most gorgeous outdoor patios I have experienced.

The room we were in was a little dark and could have used stronger light. It's also a bit complicated to find the hotel from the public parking lot - we got lost more than once as the streets are not really marked, but we figured it out eventually with the help of the concierge.
