Our stay at Paradise Bay Resort was very enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and unobtrusive. We did have a minor technical issue one day, but it was resolved within 20 minutes - great service. The main reason we chose this hotel was the pool, and it truly lived up to expectations. It was large, clean, and there were plenty of sun loungers available around. Everything was cleaned daily; the entire hotel was tidy, well-maintained, and smelled lovely. Contrary to many negative reviews, we found the hotel restaurant to be quite good. The variety of food and drinks offered is more than adequate considering the price. Dinner desserts and meat/fish dishes were especially good. A couple of practical notes: the tap water is not drinkable, and the power outlets are compatible with both European and British plugs. Pool towels can be rented for a 10€ deposit per towel, which is refunded on the last day. We rented a car, so the remote location wasn't an issue. The hotel offers free parking for guests. Generally, Malta has a good public transport system, so I don't think the location is really an issue. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Paradise Bay Resort for a relaxing holiday.

Overall it was ok. The food was good, the gym was a bit limited, maybe some more equipment.

The hotel does not provide drinking water ouside of the breakfast/lunch/dinner time and area. Driniking water is a basic human right, it is not a feature that you do or you do not include. So even if it is the case that you do not provide drinkable water, please make sure that you point that out in your basic offer because it is a big deal. This is not a mattet of money issue, there is a principle involved.

The food was great, every day some things were the same but also completely different to choose from. You had to walk to the beach, but it was a pleasant walk. The beach is nice but can be crowded in the summer and a good bar where we went for beer and ice cream. Great location as you are close to the harbor if you would like to go on a trip. Malta is small, so getting from the airport to the hotel is not a problem. We definitely recommend and if we go to Malta again, we will definitely stay in this hotel. The hotel was absolutely great. Balcony doors need some soundproofing as it gets very noisy with the wind. Room cleaning times were somewhat inconsistent, first couple of days it was around 3-4pm when we had quiet hour, then it switched to 10-11am.

I was there the second time, and I was aware of some oddities the hotel would have. For example, it seems that the really large rooms with full sea view are only given to couples, never to single travellers. As a single traveller, I was happy this time to get at least not one of the tiny rooms, but a slightly bigger one, with the disadvantage of only partial seaview from the balcony. I didn’t complain, I liked the bigger room much more than the tiny ones with full seaview. The other oddity I got used to was that you completely depend on the hotel's infrastructure - but if you are aware that you are going to spend some euros for such basic things as drinking water (tab water isn't potable in Malta), it's fine. Apart from these things, I was very happy at the hotel and will certainly return, because it is a really lovely place! Bathroom spacious, clean, and well equipped, room nice, bed amazingly comfortable, balcony really lovely to spend some hours in the evening. As for the food, I can repeat the compliments I gave last time: breakfast buffet covered practically all kinds of preferences, and dinner buffet makes you wish your stomach was twice its size because it was always super amazing, but way too much even if you take just a bite of everything. Can really recommend!

Employees all very nice and kind. However, I missed the animation team this time, they were very nice and fun last year! The service who are cleaning the tables is a bit overenthusiastic and cleans your table (with the food and drinks still standing there) practically the very moment you leave the table for a second. I wish they would just ask or wait some minutes. Another problem is that you still cannot fill your bottles with the drinking water in the restaurant (tap water isn’t potable in Malta), so you need to drink during meals and buy bottled water for the rest of the time which the hotel sells for 2€ for 0,5l). Last but not least – it would be nice if it were possible to switch the balcony light off and on yourself, currently it is switched off for everyone at 10pm.

This is a big hotel with four pools (one indoor), plus a private beach with excellent restaurant in it. We found all of this amazing. Breakfast was great with local products and we didn’t need to reserve in advance, just pop and pay, very practical and flexible. There’s a games room, generally 1 euro for each game, and a playground for kids. Also arts and craft room open at certain times. There’s an internal shop, very handy as there’s no shops around at waking distance. There’s an ATM too. There’s music in the bar at night and you can walk outside through a kind of tunnel to the restaurant in the private beach to watch the sunset and stay in the evening. Location it’s just in Cirkewa where boats depart to the smaller islands Gozo and Comino and 15 min walk to another ferry station, Marfa Jetty that goes to same islands. Blue lagoon super packed, even if it was a windy day. Location near the best beaches, Riviera bay and Ghadira Bay, which I recommend. Staff overall great, helpful. Comfy bed, lovely big balcony.

Journey to Valetta a bit long, almost an hour in car. 45 min to Mdina. I found the shop in the hotel slightly pricy but well equipped. I thought the fridge was very difficult to open and the first day it’s door appear a bit sticky but not sure it might just been my child’s hands touching it first. One of the days I asked for extra shampoo at the reception desk, staff told me ‘I don’t know, I need to ask because we have a shop’ which I found strange answer. But other staff where always very helpful giving me coins for the games room and giving info about places etc

The staff are excellent throughout. Very helpful and friendly. Two members of staff really went above and beyond to make us and other guests feel welcome, Emily in the dining hall and Hira who is one of the room attendants, Both were super friendly and attentive to their guests needs. The rooms were of a very good size and the beds were extremely comfortable.

The hotel itself, although comfortable is very dated. The pool is deep practically all over and is saltwater. The fridges in the two rooms we had kept leaking and did not close properly.

Everything was really fine. Good breakfast and amazing dinner, perfekt for a price we payed. Rooms clean and big enough, with balcony. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Three swimming pools in a good condition, inside pool with warm water. Location is close to really good beach and bus station. Every evening some entertainment programs, like life music or karaoke. A little playground for children and inside children room with some slot machines. We have had a really pleasant stay at this hotel.

- Furniture in the room needs to be refreshed, as a self room needs some repair, like fresh wall paint, window (too loud if you have windows that has a road view. - For a children can be more things to do, and the machines needs coins(cash) but other place at hotel is a chashfree, not easy to exchange to a little coins (1€/50 cen); - air conditioner and the fridge didn’t work good enough at the room, so there was pretty warm at night; But its more like advice for a hotel administration for a future.
