Easy going nice holiday complex. For my hiking trips in the nearby area the location was good for me. I prefer this part of Malta. More "breathing space". Its a nice to walk to Selmun area and Red Tower by the Ghadira valley. I even went into the sea. 18 degrees water temp. +/-. Its relatively quiet this time of year, but did not mind at all. An enjoyable night at hotel bar meeting nice guests and have chats. There is still some entertainment 3/4 times a wk +/- in lobby. Some musicians. Indoor pool nice too. The standard studio I had seemed newly renovated. Convenient little kitchen with new good fridge and basic utensils to make basic meal if needed. Kettle, little oven.The sponge, washing up liquid and tea towel provided thoughtful! Its easy to get to the Gozo ferries from Luna for a trip to Gozo. Luna has a supermarket with quite a variety of products. Groceries expensive. If you are staying a long time a 1 time trip towards Mosta Lidl might be an idea. Bus costs 2 euro and ticket valid 2 hrs. Or go to Wellbees in Mellieha, you can do a return with 1 bus ticket. Uphill into Mellieha quite a few nice restaurants! Commando is my favourite, others, Doms, Villager, Da Cucina, The Square, Sea View. Or a few steps from Luna; Roy Thai Street Food. The bus stop is by Luna and you can travel to e.g. Valletta, but due to congestion and overcrowded roads it can take a long time! I would get a Bolt.

Improvement points for renovated standard studio: - put a shelve in bathroom to put your things - re-think shower construction: strange cubicle with a cheap door which will rust or mould away quickly. - curtain is not move-able by fridge/cooking plate so if you cook curtains will get dirty easily. Re-structure curtain set-up. - no cutting knife with utensils ( i carry a peeler and cutting knife and clean board with me in my kitchen packing cube as in lots of studio s globally a good cutting knife & peeler always missing )

It was amazing , the staff was really helpfull . The only thing we didn’t see coming was that we thought we booked a room with couple bed not single beds and the view from the balcony wasn’t the way the booking said it would be- with some view. Also, had feeling of dirty plates smell when eating the breakfast. However, the room was super clean and it was nice area, would recommend and go back!

The hotel location is ideal, not far from the beach and possible to walk up the hill (if you're willing!) to the main centre - or catch the bus for 2 euros! The room was ok, a little small but had all of the amenities we needed for our stay, and was cleaned regularly. The staff were generally helpful. The rooftop pool area was lovely and a real bonus.

The rooms are not well insulated for noise, therefore you do tend to get woken up quite a lot. The doors to the rooms slam very loudly which could be easily fixed by the hotel. On our first night we got to bed late due to arriving later than planned but were woken up before 7am by the cleaner cleaning out the room next door to us, moving furniture around etc. I raised this with the hotel receptionist but she didn't really seem to care or want to apologise, only explain that the cleaners start at 6am. I understand this, but it is not acceptable for them to be waking guests up so early.

Luna is a great place to stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable and the kitchenette allowed us to cook during our stay. We also loved the Sky pool and found it very relaxing to be able to use after a long day of exploring. We also loved how close Luna is to the Mellieha beach and to restaurants around the bay for dinner. The town of Mellieha is beautiful and is an uphill walk from Luna. We wondered if staying in Mellieha would limit our ability to explore other parts of the island. However the buses from the town are reliable and relatively easy to use which allows guests to also explore cities such as Valletta and Mdina. We’d definitely recommend. Thanks to all the staff at Luna!

We had a superiour room with kitchenette in Block 1, which had a look as it was new. The whole complex is very clean and neat. Staff at the reception desk very friendly and helpful. The cleaners come every day, but not (and don't come back either) if you have a 'no disturb' sign on your door until 10 AM. Beds are comfortable. Shower and toilet are fine; the washing sink is large enough. Kitchenette: good. WiFi: excellent. Bus stops a hundred meter further on. Bus service is very good. There's a mini market just behind the complex. We haven't tried the swimming pools but they look good. At the bar they make cocktails. Happy hour from 5 to 8.

The kitchen was well equipped, but it was strange that the cooking pans had no lids.

I slipped quite badly going from the pool area into the hotel down the little slope after the sliding doors because they were cleaning and the floor was wet and I was wearing flip flops. My feet went completely from under me and I have never had such a fall I think this is extremely dangerous for other people especially older people becuase it nearly happened a second time and I would recommend getting a longer carpet as you go down the slope bit becuase it is highly slippy where the slant is and I think this could save someone really injuring themselves

Pleasantly surprised with the this hotel.There is a lovely roof top lounging sunbed option (needs booking in ) very modern , 2 pools,1 rooftop nice panoramic views and lower swim pool under cover were you dine . Breakfast option simple and basic but all you need. We only stayed 3 nights ,due to passing through to another destination,after meeting up with family on a quick stop off to celebrate their wedding anniversary and were they were stopping in a more exclusive venue. The location quiet, not far from beachfront and lots of little bars restaurant along the same road. Bus stop directly outside the front of the hotel,for excursions. Good value for money ,clean, and staff friendly, helpful.👌

We had booked a self catering 2 bedroom(party of 4) apartment, which although we checked the hotel had lifts(my sister has mobility problems) unfortunately,this part of the hotel only had stairs and our room was 5 flights up,causing a lot of discomfort to my sister. The mattresses were awful,like laying on slabs of concrete, which further caused more discomfort to us all.

Location was good and aircondition in every room (we had a apartment). The people working there are very helpful. Pool ok for kids. One stick for EU charging. Changes towels every day and tool garbage and ask did we want cleaning. Minimarket close and rock beach with locals 2 min away, sand beach a little bit further. Old Town 2 bustsations away in Hill.

The apartman was on 3th florr with no lift. Kitchen was very poor on pans and cooking equipment. Double bed a big hard. The pool on the picture is on the roof and only for 17+. So we could not use it, because we came with kids. But there is another pool for kids.

The hotel apartment where we stayed was spacious and clean, the beds were quite comfortable, and there was a kitchen and a quite big bathroom. There is a pool on the ground floor that children can also use it and a pool on the top floor for guests over 17 years old. There was live music every night and the a atmopshere was pleasant. Breakfast is served and a variety of food you can choose. The coffee was good.

I checked in online in order to avoid long queues at the hotel reception but unfortunately I had to wait quite a long time and the queue was quite long. Only one person was working at that time at the reception which was not enough. In addition, the bathroom on the second day of our stay was flooded as the drain was blocked and the water was running into the corridor and the room. I wanted to talk at the reception but again there was a long queue of people waiting and therefore I called them later at night but of course it was not possible to fix it at night. The toilet has a weird smell when flashing.

Location is good: clost to bus stops, local restorants and the beach. We got a superior room. It looks much better and larger than a standard one. It got a double bed and a sofa that can be also turned in another bed. Good for families 2+1 or even 2+2. The panoramic window and a small blacony look on the road and a hill (so no other building in front). While you might hear some road trafic it was not an issue due to double glass and quite neighbours.

the kids are not allowed to use the swimming pool on the roof (adult drinks coctails there). The swimming pool downstairs is a bit small (about 4 x 5 m2) and a bit cold.
