Brand new hotel on the other side of St. Pauls Bay in Xemxija, with great transport links to everything you would want to see in the north of the island. The hotel is small and the staff were great, in particular Miodrag on reception, he was so friendly and incredibly helpful, really good at his job, he couldn't do enough for us. Simon in the restaurant was great too, and Oksana in front of house they were both friendly and helpful. Obviously, with it being a new hotel, there are teething problems and still some snags that need attention, but this is to be expected in a new build. The team were apologetic with any issues and dealt with them impecably well. When it's all finished, and the spa and indoor pool are ready and open. I have no doubt this hotel will be a little gem in Malta. We hope to come back and see it when it is xx

The indoor pool and spa weren't ready, but we knew this at the time of booking, so it's not an issue. Plus, from what we've seen, they will be incredible when finished

Everything was luxurious and fresh. The breakfast was incredible and I had the best customer service overall, they were all so professional and kind. I loved the shower and the amount of space there was, the bed made me feel so relaxed and my sea view was breathtaking I could hear the gentle sound of the waves when I woke up.

We had the room with sea view and it was great! Big room, nice view. The rooftop Pool was amazing - we really enjoyed it! The Service was great! Very Helpful and Kind!

-its directly located at the street and there is nothing really around so we always used bolt/Uber to go somewhere -the breakfast could be better (7/10). The hot Drinks and juices were great but the buffet was very small (missed eggs, slides of cheese, Fruits and not only a small fruit salad, Toasts, etc.). The things you can Order on the menu are good but not a lot for Vegetarians. Could be improved. -the indoor pool should be a bit more warm, the water was cold. -rooftop bar only open until 4pm - should be a bit longer :-)

We decided to book this hotel because of the superb view. It's the only one I found with a balcony right over the sea and IT WAS WORTH IT. The view of the bay was indeed lovely and we could enjoy the sea breeze at night and were able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves just bellow. Truly magical. It's also in a quiet and calm area, but we were able to easily get around because all the busses we needed stop very near to the hotel. The staff were all lovely and polite and both the included breakfast and the menu for dinner in the restaurant were great. I had probably the best calmari I have ever tried there. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day and smelled nice aftewards. Also really enjoyed the spacious bathroom and nice bath products which didn't dry out my hair which usually happens at hotels.

Beautiful room with the hot tub with an amazing view. Staff were brilliant.. Shout to Eric who looked after us all week at the rooftop pool, and Tea on the front desk. The young lady didn't catch the name in Leo's bar also amazing thank you for your hard work and attention.

The pool bar on the roof closing at 4pm. It has been at its peak in terms of customers up there at this point, please extend to around 1800-1900. Need to get a cab or bus to go anywhere outside of hotel, only one supermarket and small restaurant down the hill. Private shower facilities needed for when you check out and have no room. The pool shower and toilets is very uncomfortable. Maybe include an after hours service for food and drink, another revenue stream for you to. No iron in the room and more than 1 bottle of water required. Sorry these are small things really that would have made it better.

Wonderful stay at Damarę Resort & Spa! We spent a few days at Damarę Resort & Spa and were absolutely delighted! I booked a short stay at Ushuaia Playa Xemxija Boutique Hotel for a romantic getaway with my husband, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The rooms were elegantly designed. Although we didn't opt for a sea view room, we were still treated to a lovely glimpse of the shimmering sea, which added a touch of charm to our stay. One of the highlights was the indoor pool, which felt like a hidden oasis—a tranquil retreat where we could unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle. It was a serene space, perfect for leisurely swims and relaxation. Every morning, we were greeted with a lavish breakfast spread that catered to a variety of tastes. From fresh fruits to baked goods and hearty options, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We also had the pleasure of dining at the Apulia restaurant during our visit. The delectable dishes we tried were not only flavorful but also reasonably priced, making for an exceptional culinary experience that we would happily revisit. The luxurious aesthetics and the attentiveness of the staff. The additional extras - which are included in the price - such as the amazing breakfast! This modern property had two restaurants to choose to eat; with local bolt food to order if wanting something different. Literally everything was at the tip of your phone on WhatsApp, from room service, to simple questions rather than going downstairs to ask. Being slightly out of the city meant that the infinity pool and balcony’s had amazing views. Bus routes were accessible and really cheap considering the distance. Cannot wait to visit again.

10 out of 10 for our stay. A wonderful large spotlessly clean quirky room. We enjoyed the hot tub and large veranda. Amazing choice and delicious breakfasts. Great customer service, from remembering my partners birthday to booking trips and local advice. The location is quiet, and the views of the bay are fabulous. We travelled from England for a week but would be lovely for a romantic weekend, we will return. Best hotel stay in years !!! Thank you, team Damare.

Firstly, the window for our hottub in the room wasn't working. Held up with a wooden plank. Given it was likely the best room in the hotel it was disappointing. Basically rendered the hottub unusable. The food selection wasn't hectic either. Nor the prices. Didn't exactly shock for almost 350 euros a night. The paint was also peeling and in poor condition in some spots. As well as having a pretty bad ant problem for such a new hotel.
