My wife and I enjoyed every moment of our stay. Food was very good, staff were very nice and hotel is very clean.

The indoor pool is a bit small but luckily we were the only ones using it.

The food was very good with lots of choice, fresh & tasty. The staff lovely people. Heating was on when we arrived. We had 2 bedrooms in our apartment very happy. Greeted by staff with mulled wine & traditional maltese biscuits. The shower was power shower & plenty of hot water. Clean sheets & towels. Beds were firm & comfortable.

It's a dated hotel so furniture was dark & old. I didn't like the lino on the bathroom floor as water was getting under it, I wore flip flops in the apartment.

The Topaz Hotel has its strengths and weaknesses. On the plus side, the location is excellent, with easy access to major bus routes. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shower was particularly impressive, with great water pressure and temperature control. The breakfast buffet offers a decent selection, but it would be great to see more variety from day to day. Overall, I would recommend the Topaz Hotel for its convenient location and comfortable rooms, but be aware of the slow internet and the need for some TLC.

However, there are a couple of areas that need improvement. The internet connection is extremely slow, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the hotel is showing its age and could benefit from some renovations to update its facilities.

The hotel impresses with its size and beautifully maintained facilities. Our room was particularly remarkable: the largest room with six beds, even though we had booked for four. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities including a TV, air conditioning, a safe, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, hangers, a toilet, and fresh towels. The daily housekeeping service ensured that everything remained spotless, and the towels were consistently replaced. The bathroom was in excellent condition, featuring a shower and bathtub, and we always had hot water available, adding to our comfort and satisfaction. The dining experience at the hotel was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend booking at least breakfast as part of your stay—it’s well worth it. The hotel boasts both an outdoor and an indoor pool, both of which are meticulously maintained. The outdoor pool is especially spacious and popular, with a restaurant nearby. Both pools are equipped with loungers, and the hygiene is well-managed with showers and restrooms located conveniently. For families with children, the hotel offers a game room, which is great for keeping the little ones entertained. Elevators are available to ease movement throughout the hotel, and there is a room where you can store your luggage if your flight is later than the check-out time. The entire hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs or provide helpful advice. The reception is available 24/7, ensuring that any questions or requests can be promptly addressed.

- The hotel is old and needs renovation - Rooms are noisy (you can hear people speaking in a corridor and blowing wind) - It's extremely hard to find a parking space anywhere close to the hotel in the evenings, prepare to plan additional 20 minutes to leave your car. The hotel does not offer private parking for guests

nice and helpful staff, cosy room with comfortable bed, in room it was balcony with a nice view of nearby, great location really close to many bus stops from which you can catch buses to many places on the island. there is many restaurants and pubs nearby.

there was no drawbacks for us. if you need to have an accomodation close to coast and beaches you need to know that it is quite far to the sea on foot

As a family of three we enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at Topaz. Excellent facilities with the bonus of having an indoor pool which was just perfect especially with the hot temperatures. Very friendly staff( and I dont understand poor reviews)given the excellent service and value for money.

Location isn’t too close to the square but close enough so that you can’t hear people. Pool and other facilities are excellent. Great value for money!

We had to discover a lot about the hotel ourselves the staff never recommended any facilities and instead left us to stumble on them.
