The room was large and clean with an excellent ensuite. New carpet and plenty of storage space as well as coffee and tea facilities. The location was perfect for our personal programme of events in Airedale. Notwithstanding the business being in administration since April, the staff acted totally professionally and gave no indication of any problems, always smiling, obliging and courteous.
The beds was just a little smaller than anticipated, albeit adequate. Overall the property could be described as 'tired' but, given the fact that it has been in administration since April this was to be expected.

We were greeted and shown to our room, very friendly welcome! The dinner was excellent! The menu provided a good choice and the small plates option was a great idea. Everything was prepared fresh and served well. Breakfast was similar - a good choice, freshly prepared and friendly staff on hand. The hotel is situated in nice grounds with plenty of space for dining or simply having a drink. The room was tidy, bathroom clean, comfortable bed and was perfect for us for a one night stopover on a long cross country journey. If we head back to the area, would certainly look to stay again.

Everything! From the drive into the place, the stairs, the history, the room (which was huge), the food, how sparkly clean everything was, even reading the welcome pamphlet was mind blowing! I love a bit of history and this place is class and history in one! Everything is great!!
Nothing really, only little personal gripes that aren't the hotels fault! I come from a quiet village in Wales and I could hear the bypass in the night and the trains, but once I'd drifted off, I slept really well. Like I said, personal gripe not the fault of the hotel, the room was lovely and more than I could have asked for.

Arrived late Saturday afternoon and check in was very simple, directed to room and found the room to be more than adequate for our needs, this is a very old building and is exactly what you would expect to find in such a place, if you want ultra modern living then maybe not for you but for us it all added to the experience. We didn’t dine at the hotel in the evening due to other plans but we did have breakfast which was cooked while we waited and it was excellent, cereals, pastries, juices etc were on hand on a self service basis. We were on a house hunting mission and found Janette who was on waitress service to be so helpful as her extensive local knowledge was super helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would not hesitate to book again. D and D ( Lincolnshire )

The staff were so welcoming and incredibly helpful. We only stayed for a night, but the staff went out their way to ensure we had everything we needed for our young children. The breakfast was great, and the staff were very accommodating in the dining area, too. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Also, the building was great - really old features and interesting historical items dotted around.
On the booking page it spoke about large grounds, but they're not very extensive. However, a short walk down the road found us in a nice church grounds area with a stream - lovely. The village was very interesting, again, with very historic features dotted around to discover.

The hotel has a lovely charm with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful garden area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a restful night. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very satisfying — a great start to the day.
The walls were a little thin, so I could hear some noise from the hallway in the evening. Also, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in my room, which made it a bit tricky to get some work done.

Did not have dinner as restaurant closes at 2.30pm Mon to Thursday. This was a deterrent for us as we had to dine elswhere before arriving at the hotel at 8.00p.m. Breakfast was what you would expect with the added bonus of made to order although I always choose Continental. This could be improved if there was additional dried fruits and seeds etc but that is just my opinion.
As far as comfort is concerned nothing really except dificult to use the hair dryer in front of the mirror due to a short lead plus the extension lead to the tea and coffee making facilities was also short and although utilised still did not reach. I have stayed in this room previously and mentioned the same drawback. However should not be a deterrent as the hotel and breakfast dining was still very good.

We had a good nights sleep The bathroom was exceptionally clean.and plenty of hot water. Large fan in bedroom too if needed. Our bedroom was huge and spacious. Room 9 Son was in room 6 . Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We recently enjoyed a two night stay in the Steeton Hall Hotel whilst visiting friends in the area. This small family run hotel turned out to be a great find for us. Our four poster room was spacious, very clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and well presented. All the staff we met during our stay were very friendly and polite making us feel welcome. A special thank you to the owner of the hotel who despite being in the middle of a very busy lunch service, went out of her way to help us check in earlier than we should have. All in all a very pleasant stay and if we are in the area again in the future, we would definitely return.

Really friendly staff. Nice and quiet location. Rooms were big and TVs had Sky and apps so there was lots of choice. Breakfast was also really good. Hotel quiet and plenty of parking.
Room was slightly colder than expected when we got there. Eventually found the radiator thermostat and turned it up. On the tv, the Youtube picture wasn't great which may have been a wifi issue. Only minor things though and didn't detract from the stay.
