I recently stayed at Maxwell Inn in Taiping, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money I received. For just RM90, I had the privilege of enjoying a generously sized room. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and it exceeded my expectations in terms of space. Having ample room to move around and relax made my stay exceptionally comfortable. The extra space in the room was a definite plus point. The staff at Maxwell Inn were friendly and accommodating, making the check-in and check-out process hassle-free. I also appreciated the convenient location of the inn, which allowed easy access to local attractions and dining options. While Maxwell Inn might not be a luxury accommodation, it certainly offers excellent value for budget-conscious travelers. If you're looking for a clean and spacious room at an affordable price in Taiping, I highly recommend giving Maxwell Inn a try. It's a great choice for those who want comfort without breaking the bank.

The hotel offers room service for simple meals and drinks. I arrived Maxwell Inn on Friday 4 August 2023 around 5.00pm. Registration was swift and smooth. I was given Room 4 which is a Deluxe Double Room (that could accommodate up to 2 Adults and a Child) for my two nights. The room is spacious and very clean. It has a wardrobe and lots of cabinets. The room also comes with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a kettle with cups and saucers and 2 complimentary bottles drinking water. The staff are warm and friendly. There are a few restaurants (mostly Indian Muslim) of walking distance from Maxwell Inn. I could describe my two nights stay in the hotel as peaceful and quiet.

The room is super big and clean. The location is superb and easy to navigate. Staying here meaning easy to walk around the center of Taiping to get various type of food and cafe. The staffs are very friendly. They’re very polite and ready to help. Always have smile on their faces. I thought Taiping is a small city but this Maxwell Inn gave a very good impression to us. Surely will choose this place again for the future.

With the price of the accommodation, I think everything is worth a try 😉

The location was just opposite my work location and hence, quite convenient! It is close to the train and bus stations. The room was clean with all the usual amenities including a good stainless steel (even on the inside of the lid) electric water kettle and a private bathroom; smooth check-in and check-out; friendly staff.

As there is no lift, a ramp would have been convenient.

unexpected the room was so big, clean, complete with facilities...quiet environment at night ..extra complete with facilities. Feel like stay at home. Really recommended.

They use a key, not an access card, so it's a bit difficult for me to get used to switching the key. Sometimes I forget which side to pull

Don't judge the appearance of this hotel.. haha.. got the big room even booked for the deluxe queen bed for the price only rm125.. near taiping hospital,town.. easy to find food

Room was very spacious, I have never stayed in such a big space for this price. The staff, both morning and evening shifts, were friendly and very helpful. The location is superb, just a few minutes drive to anywhere in Taiping.

Nothing to complain

Very big and clean room. A/C and fridge working fine. Quiet area, with lots of restaurants and mini markts near. Walking distance from town centre. Nice staff. .

Small parking, but at least in my case, it was enough.
