Patria Palace was genuinely one of my favourite hotels i've ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and welcoming at all times. The room was lovely and we paid for a terrace room and ended up out there a lot! It was very cosy and had a great view of the Basilica de Santa Cross, which the rooftop bar just down the corridor also had. There was a free shuttle bus to their sister beach club which was a nice touch and a great change of scenery (even if the food we had there wasn't the best meal we had) - we were given complimentary beds and towels again which was just a nice touch and the actual beach club itself was lovely with a sandy beach. On the subject of food, the breakfast was fantastic with a great selection. We didn't have lunch or dinner in the hotel but i'm sure these both would have been great if the breakfast was anything to go by. The location of the hotel is also amazing as it's right slap bang in the centre of the city, there was so many lovely restaurants and bars not even a 5 minute walk away from the hotel, and the city was buzzing at night. Also, Solomun and Black Coffee stayed there while we were there, if you are into music.

THE TOILET PAPER! For a 5 star hotel it could be much better, but it's easy to forgive when everything else is so lovely. Worth noting that everywhere in Lecce the toilet paper was bad, so think it may be more a case of environmentally friendly/sewer friendly/easily biodegradable toilet roll over high quality in this region of Italy.

Fantastic place to stay! The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location is great to explore Lecce. The breakfast is among the best we have had at a hotel and we have stayed at some pretty luxurious places around the world. Most importantly though the service provided by all the staff was so top tier. Everyone was so authentically helpful and not just polite and helpful because it’s their job. Hard to explain but the service definitely felt different to usual expectations.

The rooms and the lobby/ restaurants are great but the rest of the hotel is a little run down and dim. Also the fact you have to carry around a key on a big tassel rather than a key card is a bit annoying. Other than that, faultless.

We arrived by car, following precise instructions given by the hotel in advance. The car was immediately unloaded by the doorman and another staff member took the car away to valet parking. We were greeted with a glass on prosecco whilst registration took place. Our room on the first floor was a superb 3 room suite. There was no view, just windows facing an internal courtyard shaft. Both the bedroom and bathroom were superb. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. All the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE FROM AUSTRALIA. Booking.com has an error in its system showing \n\n from Hongkong. ???

We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner. It was located on the rooftop and the weather was very hot.

Amazing hotel, service and location. On arrival greeted by wonderful lobby staff to take luggage from car and park your car in the car park. The front desk staff were extremely helpful offering refreshments water and Prosecco. We were able to check into our rooms early with a bottle of Prosecco. Beautiful room with high ceilings and stunning view from the window and diptyque toiletries in the bathroom, everything made you feel at home. We would stay here again without a doubt, and anyone visiting lecce for the first time this made our visit stress free and all round 10/10 hotel.

We loved the bedroom, extremely comfy bed. Gorgeous little terrace with beautiful furniture. The bathroom is pure luxury with Diptyque toiletries, which my wife was delighted with. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. We had dinner on the rooftop bar, we had the 5 course tasting menu with paired wines (and olive oils!) the wait staff explained everything to us in English which we found to be exceptional service. The view of Santa Croce lit up was beautiful. Our car was parked for us and brought back at the requested time. This is a stunning hotel and I was only sad we were there for just one night. We would definitely go back, Lecce is stunning and very lively!

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. We stayed for 9 days and it truly felt like a family and home. The staff, without exception, were great and always ready to help. The entire team was professional, and a special mention goes to Mr. Marino and his staff for their exceptional service. The hotel's location in the center is perfect, with proximity to the most beautiful beach, Mora Mora, with free access from the hotel. The charming ambiance adds to the overall experience. Breakfast was top-notch, making our stay even more delightful. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect stay!

Attention to detail of amenities and staff services. They have really thought of everything. The live harpist at breakfast is a wonderful touch. Beautiful decor, elegant crockery and beddings. The location is perfect and overlooks the beautiful Santa Croche Basilica. Definitely try out the rooftop bar especially at night time. Superb views and surpassingly quite given the central location

Not much to report

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. In difference to other 5 start hotels, it felt cozy/familiar. The breakfast and roof top are also noteworthy! What amazed us was a free shuttle to and from, and an umbrella at the mora mora lido (usual rate 50€ per day)

The air conditioning in the rooms is a bit noisy and the rooms could use a coffee machine.

The staff were so friendly, very approachable and professional. The hotel was opposite the Basilica and central to all restaurants and many streets for lovely afternoon /evening strolls. The hotel also offered beautiful food, a roof top terrace and a shuttle bus to go to the beach and enjoy facilities of the beach club and the Adriatic sea. Lecce is a beautiful city to explore.
