The Burger. I liked the burger. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long while. Served in a proper bread bun/cake/balm or whatever your local dialect calls it. It wasn't served in a flippin' 'Brioche Bun' which seems to be the current annoying trend for burgers these days. The burger itself was perfectly seasoned, thick and juicy. Absolutely spot-on! Can't comment on the breakfast as I was still too full from the burger from the night before! 😄

Noisy Scousers (is there any other kind) on the next table. We moved.

Great location for Stratford and a good car park, the bar was very nice and there are a couple of very good pubs in walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, the room was clean and very comfortable, and great value for money. I enjoyed an excellent breakfast, there was a good range of choices on offer, and I thought the service and quality was very good.

If I was really picky, there were a large number of cobwebs around the ceiling of my room and bathroom. They didn't particularly bother me, but I would recommend that they are dusted away as other guests might not like them!

The staff were very helpful, and the cleaner was superb - we left a mess every morning and she always left it immaculate, ignoring small change and any 'tempting' items. She even had a smile for us when we met. Graham said the Breakfast Staff were equally helpful - he had to bring a tray to me each morning, as I am slightly disabled. There was a lovely shower in a large bathroom, and ample fluffy towels - much appreciated.

Onjly one thing - but important. The lighting was poor everywhere - and \I badly needed a good mirror light for make-up - and even more, adequate wattage in the reading lamps by the beds. This is quite important to us. - Otherwise perfect.

The friendly staff, nothing was too much bother, the rooms were comfortable and clean and myself and my partner were in the dog friendly room - the rest of the rooms were really lovely too.. I would definitely go back again

The only thing I would say was a slightly disappointed was the noise during the night - I want to say that it’s an airlock but it was quite a racket.. reported it to reception at the end of stay so that the maintenance department could look at it. Did t report it sooner as the first night I was too tired after travelling and it didn’t happen on second night just on the last night.

Location, stayed many times and usually accommodated in terms of room etc

Very disappointed to find there was a function on the Saturday evening and no warning was given either at booking or any stage after. It didn't feel it would have been too much work to send out an email to anyone stopping as previous evenings had been very quiet. The noise from the music was drowning out out television all evening and we'll past midnight. Very disappointing indeed. Recognise these events are probably financially rewarding and necessary but we have been coming here every year for over 15 years which ought to demand some loyalty and courtesy.

Very enjoyable stay, over the valentine weekend, in a clean and comfortable room. We were having such a good stay, we added an extra night to our visit. The hotel is a quiet and relaxing place to be. Furnished to a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. We had breakfast and an evening meal, in the restaurant. All meals were superb, with plenty of choice and great value. The hotel makes a great base, for exploring Stratford upon Avon. It was our third visit to the hotel and it definitely, will not be our last.

The room was large and the walk I shower perfect for my disability. Nice selection of tea coffee and good quality biscuits. The towels were really soft and fluffy. Good breakfast finished at 10am perfect for me. Waitress service for drinks.

Monday morning breakfast was finished cleared away at 9am. To early for me on a positive note the waitress did get me a breakfast which was kind of her.

All the staff were great. The (Premium) room is spacious, a tad plain, but everything you need. Super comfortable bed! Lovely big TV. And the food was amazing! We ate in the Twisted Boot Bar, and although the price of a 'burger and chips' seemed high initially, the meal was exceptional - the best burger we have had in a long while! It was fresh, hot, and arrived very quickly. The Twisted Boot Bar is a lovely cosy pub/bar area, and the drink prices were good (lager/Guiness). There was also a nice seating area outside for nice weather. Breakfast (buffet) was delicious - there was so much on offer - we had the cooked breakfast which was delicious. The hotel is a little way out from any other amenities but we knew that before we booked, and the hotel has everything you need anyway. Also - a large spacious car park.

The cleanliness of the room could be improved. No fault with the carpet, the bed etc., but the skirting boards could do with a good clean, the walls had a few dirty marks which could of been wiped clean, the radiator could have done with a wipe down. Bathroom sanitaryware was very clean but again, extra attention required around the floor edges. Door frames and doors could do with a good clean as dirty marks on them. Just needed a bit more time/attention.

The accommodation was spotless, the room was a good size and the bed was large and comfortable. The shower was of such a high pressure that it shed onto the floor which has caused the tiles to raise and the door to scrape. I would recommend the pressure be reused and the floor repaired. The food was very good. The seafood basket was excellent and the roast lamb was really tasty. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

There’s nothing to dislike about this property.

We had a premier double room which was spacious and very clean and the bed was very roomy. There were plenty of towels and the bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. We also liked the small bar which had seating outside with heating over as the night got cooler.

Although the bed was roomy, there was a dip on 1 side possibly due to a broken spring which was slightly uncomfortable. There was nothing else we could find fault with.
