The resort needs a little love it is quite run down and needs some maintenance eg gardens, a water tap in the bathroom and better A/C. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. BF is as usual resort style, however, their dinner menu is good and tasty. The swimming pool is ok - needs maintenance. The beach is beautiful and within walking distance.

Far from the main area of Khao Lak,

This facility is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful, manager Sam is always there to help and advise, the food is excellent, cleanliness is the best, changing beds and towels daily plus providing fresh water in the glass bottles. The pool is very nice, and this resort is very quiet, an amazing place to rest. I just returned from there and I will book very soon We didn't want to leave from there. Highly recommended.

Absolutely everything, the best place to stay. Their customer service is second to none. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable. Also, you can have lunch or dinner in the resort's restaurant; the price is acceptable, not expensive at all.

Large comfortable premium room, very clean. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel which has lovely tropical gardens.. Iincredibly friendly and helpful staff - they were a highlight. Lovely pool with adjacent bar area. One of my favourite hotels - informal vibe but all the facilities.you need.

Nothing about the hotel itself. Location-wise, it's a bit far from town but taxis are usually waiting to take you. The local beach isn't the best in the area but the beautiful Coconut Beach can be reached with a free shuttle, 5 minute bike ride (free for 3 hours) or 20 min walk. Tours will pick you up from the hotel.

During our trip through South Thailand we visited Khao Lak and booked a room at this gem of a resort. Initially we booked 4 nights. Our plan was to continue to Khao Sok and return to Bangkok and then fly back home. We had 2 nights booked at a resort in Khao Sok, but were reluctant to go there because we loved our stay at Palm Galleria Resort so much and were scared everything else to come was going to disappoint. Eventually we did go to Khao Sok since our resort there was booked already, but once we arrived there we immediately regretted it. We ended up staying only 1 night in Khao Sok, did the lake tour there the next day (which was great), and in the evening took a taxi back to Palm Galleria Resort to extend our stay there. In my opinion this says enough about how good this resort is. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the pool is fantastic, the rooms are super nice and the surroundings lush. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Khao Lak. 10/10

In my opinion there was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was amazing! for 150 bhaat great value 4 courses + coffee & juice. Staff were friendly & helped me to learn Thai. The pool was large & I was able to swim laps in it as I had it to myself in the early evening in off season. The grounds were lovely, I loved all the tropical plants there. Short walk to Pakarang beach only about 150m then could walk along the beach about 400m or so to Memories beach for surfing. The restaurant was open all day which was very convenient. Free use of bicycle was very handy too. Room was lovely & spacious, with a bath too.

No fan in the room. I actually prefer a fan to aircon plus it is needed to dry clothes in wet season. That being said I didn't ask for a portable one, they probably could have provided it? The gym was very basic & did not have a proper bench. There were dumbell weights, a rope, a bicycle, a treadmill, eliptic walker, yoga mats. (The outlook from the gym was lovely into the garden & pool). The restaurant was more expensive than I usually pay for lunch/dinner but not ridiculous. The room price was a bit high for off season but I'm a budget guy lol.

Super nice staff, comfortable bed and clean bedding, reasonable price drinks and food. My 4 years old son loves the water slide so much. The happy hour offer buy 1 get 1 free which is awesome even it's only last for 1 hour. The food from the kitchen is delicious. There are also a few restaurants and a small store in short walk if you want something different. It is a short walk like 2 minutes walk (using the bridge behind the pool) to the coral beach but there are no shade nor any umbrellas for rental. It is hard to stay long under the strong sun. Good point is so quiet.

Mosquitos are crazy even though they spray every day. Not sure if it's from the stream and abandoned property behind the resort. Just an hour after the hotel smoky spray we went back to the pool wanting to enjoy early evening drink and snacks and just got lots of bites once the sun gone even we had some anti Mosquito spray on the body.... The location is far from the town and not exactly by the beach (means no beach facilities). There's a cover of the drain of the bathtub... I tried to open it for preventing overflow and found it so dirty.... it's never been cleaned since it's covered...

Very nice and clean pool, most comfortable bed we had so far in thailand, breakfast was good and the room was very quiet in the night. Some restaurants on walking disctance, the best food we ate in Thailand was at the restaurant Darin just 2min walk from the hotel .. also we rented a scooter there what was great to drive to the night market and the beaches.

Palm Galleria is an exceptional hotel in a beautiful location. The environment is so pleasing, calm and restorative. Above all the staff is so attentive, kind and gentle. I could not have wished for a better stay. The manager deserves special commendation for his personal service and kindness,

Nothing. The bathrooms require updating but the manager is aware. Anything that requires fixing is always dealt with immediately.

Amazing staff, they really do everything in their hands to give you info of the area or help you organise trips to other locations. But again, outstanding customer focused staff! The rooms are also great, with the exception of the bathrooms. They are OK, but very basic. Food was also very good as well as prices for both food and drinks. Also, its 100m away from the nearest beach. Pood is quite big and great temperature. Plenty of tables and hammocks around.

We had a great stay at Palm Galleria Hotel! The hotel is very charming, quiet and clean. We ate several times there (lunch and dinner), and the food was great! The staff is very welcoming and very attentive. They are always making sure you enjoy your stay! The swimming pool is just perfect for kids! Our four year old daughter had a lot of fun with the slide - even I did. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

The closest beach does not have any place close to eat or drink with shadow. To go to a beautiful beach with services (Coco beach or White Sand beach for example), you can take the hotel shuttle or a taxi. It takes about 10 minutes but it is really worth it!!! You are a bit far from the center of Khao Lak. You have to take a taxi to reach the center (300 bhatts). If you want to go out, be ready not to be able to make it by foot.
