I loved the facilities of this place. I stayed in a pool suite and it was a fantastic size, loved my room! Breakfast was so good, with many choices everyday. Both restaurants I ate at and was very impressed. Distance from hotel not an issue for me as I hired a bike, there is a shuttle that takes guests into town. The layout and style to this hotel was stunning. Exceeded my expectations I will definitely be coming back to stay :)

May be a little far from town for some guest. I’d like a hard copy of hotel facilities, I found it a little frustrating to have to scan in my phone to get information. Only a minor issue though.

We spent 6 nights and 7 days at Kalima Resort, and every moment was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine kindness and warm hospitality, making us feel right at home. Each morning began with a delicious and diverse breakfast spread that offered something for everyone — a perfect way to start the day. We took full advantage of the resort’s facilities: the serene private pool, the vibrant main pool, the fun kids pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and the beautiful beach nearby. Traveling with my mom, my wife, and our daughter, I was especially grateful for the thoughtful amenities that made our stay comfortable and memorable for three generations of our family. Kalima gave us not just a vacation, but a treasure trove of memories we’ll cherish forever. I can’t help but smile whenever I think of that incredible week. We’ll definitely be back.

ALL the staff are amazing and so kind. The room was excellent and the view was perfect to wake up and go to sleep to. The food is amazing and so flavourful. Activity’s on site are always available, some free and the rest are very affordable.

Words can’t sum up how gorgeous this place is! We’ve been in Thailand for 3 months now and this is the best resort we have stayed at. Some things to mention that made our stay exceptional: - Kayaking and seeing the nature and elephants 🐘 for free! - The best breakfast you’ll find at a resort - The best fitness facilities including Thai boxing and fitness classes - a private beach that has the most incredible sunsets - we asked for a room near the lake as it’s more peaceful and we weren’t disappointed. - all the staff are genuinely so friendly - the watermelon smoothie from their on site cafe is out of this world and served with a smile

Comfortable pillows and bed, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Some staff really stood out as polite and helpful, (some were cold and aloof however). Lots of great massage and good food close by (location was perfect for us). Lots of pool loungers and seating at the beach.

The pool access room was nice (in theory) but no stairs into the pool made it really awkward and uncomfortable to get in and out. (Quite unsafe actually) The ‘seat’ design was WAY too big to be used as a step. There were biting ants all over the little deck area too so the chairs on the deck were virtually unusable. I found the resort policies regarding the towel cards and ‘fines’ and notes in the room about costs if water bottles break etc uncalled for. For the price per night (8,400 baht) there should have been towels and more water and coffee in the room available and less threats about fines and extra fees.

The resort was perfect in every way. The room was large and comfortable and clean. We ate at all of the resort restaurants and enjoyed every meal. The Thai options were delicious and the morning buffet breakfast was huge and with a great variety of food that changed daily. The private beach area was wonderful and the resort always felt relaxed and quiet and never crowded. There was a complementary shuttle to town that we used twice and it was easy to get Taxi's on other occasions. We arranged tours through Patty and had great days out both times.

Everything was perfect.

Kalima is exceptional in every way. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the kids pool and facilities are immaculately clean and provide lots of choice, the breakfast was fantastic and the staff some of the nicest we met in the whole of Thailand. We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect, the breakfast is amazing and we really enjoyed the free activities (muay thai, kayak). Around the resort there is many restaurants on the beach.

Everything in the resort is so expensive, I recommend to walk 200 meters to arrive on the other beach where everything is cheaper.

This resort is just so beautiful. Natural ambience, fantastic staff (Wit at the restaurant was exceptionally helpful and super friendly), INCREDIBLY affordable (we spent as much in two days in Dubai as we did the entire eight day stay in Kalima), the rooms are beautiful, the food is tasty as hell and again, so damn cheap! We were blown away.

Our one fault was they couldn’t seem to get Nachos right! 😅 work on the nachos and it’s the perfect resort!

Nice for those who love nature and quietness (as we do), to spend time at the sea, walking, quiet and natural environment at vacations. Very green and blossoming territory where you meet crabs, lizzards, birds, butterflies, squirrels, etc Rooms are new and spacious, all little things taken care of. Good breakfast with variety of fresh and tasty options. Also nice choice for lunch/dinner. Friendly staff.The hotel is very green and the beach is long and sandy. All in all we liked it a lot, will come back again.

The pool area is really small. If you are staying not in the villas, the space with the pool is really far from what you expect from 5*. Pool is small and shallow, full of kids and it is tightly surrounded by the buildings without any free space. Second pool is even smaller. While having only 1 dinner restaurant, hotel is detached from tourist life, the choice of food and shops around is quite limited, and taxi to a village is quite expensive by local measures. Practically no hot food at or near the beach (limited choice can be brought to you from the main restaurant that is 15 minutes walking distance). The way to the beach is via a floating bridge. For drinks you queue in the small bar.
